Starhawk Walkthrough Part 3 – Harvest Season

After everything in the last mission, it is time to string it all together for some true fighting. Head for the station ahead and it is on to straight combat. This time you are up against 5 Hawks to start. Remember what you have been doing and it should not be a problem to take them down. Use Power Slides to get a quick turn in and be in a better position. Boost when your target is far away. Swarm Missiles are plentiful but most effective with a full lock. Those missiles are capable of targeting multiple ships so if 2 hang together, blast them together. It is also very possible to pull off a missile dodge using 2 successive Flip Turns. Take down the 5 Hawks and then it is time to land and take the fight on board the station.

Secure the cargo area
Time to learn more about using the Hawk, in Mech Form. Land and start Stomping with “R3”. Little things like Scabs are very hard to hit with your guns and not really worth the ammo. Stomping takes care of that very nicely though. Deal with the initial wave of them and dismount from the Hawk.

Enter the Station
Head to the ramp and cruise up to the marked door. The airlock is sealed and Emmett cannot just walk in. Cutter needs to hack it while you deal with a few waves of Scabs … with rocket launchers. Drop a supply bunker and some Auto Turrets to help out with the fight (a wall if you really need it). Just keep your weapon hot and fire smoothly. It will not take too long to press through the 4 waves of Scabs that come at you.

Activate the Airlock
After a time in battle then Cutter gets the door open. Dash for it and get over there quickly. Get to the switch in the back and cycle the airlock. Things are not much better on the other side of the Airlock.

Activate the Defense Systems
Head straight across, behind the structure in front of Emmett. Get to the opposite side and crouch behind the barrier there. The scene is safe so just dash over to the marker to trigger the Defense System. It comes back online easily enough.

Exit the Station
Head down the ramp and turn left. Scabs will appear from behind the door and start firing on you. Take them out then head down the corridor to get back to the airlock. Cycle it to head outside once again.

Protect the Rift Station
Just need to head over to the left and down the ramps to make it over to the Rift itself. There are plenty of Scabs in your way and at least 1 Turret as well. Just get there, defend until Cutter gets the Signal Rig ready for drop. Once it is, place it on the Raw Rift energy to move things forward.

Protect the Signal Rig
You have 3 drop points for the coming waves and plenty of Scabs and Scrappers will be backing it up as well. Build a wall around the Signal Rig and get some Turrets on the Walls as well as around them. After 3 waves of Scabs and Scrappers, a Mech comes down from above. Pull out the MAW Rocket Launcher, drop in a Supply Depot and have at it. Duck in and out of cover as your health demands and just keep the rockets flying at it. Head into the Supply Depot whenever you need more rockets/bullets/grenades. It will not be too long before it goes down.

Protect the Tug
Reclaim the Supply Depot and drop in a Launch Pad in its place. How into the Hawk and its time to get back in the sky. Cutter gets the Captain to give you some the Homing Missiles that have in their stock. Fly through the cargo bay that you saw open and Emmett has a much more powerful missile at his disposal. These missiles take longer to lock on but they do a lot more damage overall.
