Explore the Drowned Temple
Cross a frail wooden bridge. There are enemies on the other side: Returned Archers, Returned Shieldmen, and Returned Summoners. If necessary, retreat back towards the entrance, to avoid being surrounded.
Soon you run into the following boss:
Ezek the Prophet
Ancient Nephalem Companion
Your task is to kill Ezek the Prophet and the Skeletons. There are also three brothers who join the fight:
Brother Moek
Ancient Nephalem Defender
Brother Larel
Ancient Nephalem Keeper
Brother Karel
Ancient Nephalem Guardian
Ezek is a melee type boss, which uses a big axe to swing at you. Ranged characters should attack him from a safe distance. The Skeletal Brothers use a sword attack against you, and one of them has a knockback ability.
Once you defeat them, your next step is:
Talk to Alaric in the Drowned Temple.
Talk to Alaric, who's spirit should appear in the same room where you fought Ezek. He grants you entrance to their most sacred place. You now need to Secure the Glowing Sword Shard. Enter the secret room that opens, only to run into Maghda again. Fight the horde of Dark Zealots that show up. Next, you need to get the Glowing Sword Shard. Once you have it, you need to return the Glowing Sword Shard to New Tristram. Teleport back to New Tristram.
This completes the quest, The Broken Blade.
Talk to the Stranger in New Tristram. You ask him about the shard you found. You tell him about the Shard, and about your encounter with Maghda in the temple, how she seeks the third piece even now. The stranger tells you hi remembers a glow, streaking towards a fishing village. Leah tells you that this must be Wortham. Deckard suggests that you have the Ferryman take you there. This starts the next quest:
The Doom in Wortham
Talk to the Ferryman
Head west, towards the waypoint. Speak with the Ferryman. You tell him you need to go across the water, to Wortham. He says he will take you, but tells you to beware, smoke rises from the village. You arrive at Wortham. A villager there cries that the town is being destroyed and to get out while you can. Your objective updates, you need to travel to the center of Wortham. Follow the waypoint northwest, killing the Dark Zealots that are pillaging the town on the way.
