Mors needs to search and find he wayward recruit. For making it through the first chapter, Mors will receive a new trait: “Indestructible”.

“You survived Gorn's formidable horde in the abanddoned fort of Icemark” - Damage Resistance +1%

head to the South and to the East. Go up the stairs to the platform you left Poddy on. Approach the bow on the ground to get the next clue of where to search for Poddy. Time to learn more about being a skinchanger.

Tutorial: Skinchanger: Using skinchanger powers
“Press the 'R Button' to use your Skinchanger power, and press it again to interrupt it. When Mors uses his Skinchanger power, his spirit controls the dog and he cannot move.”

Tap “R” to shift over to the Dog. Another tutorial comes up:

Tutorial: Skinchanger: Follow a scent
“To learn a new scent, click the 'left mouse button.' Hold down the 'alt button'  to sniff the scent you want to follow. You will then be able to follow it easily. To change between scents, trigger active-paise while in Skinchanger mode and select a new scent.”

While Mors is his Dog, things will be in the first person perspective. Click on the bow to get Poddy's scent and star off to the East. Head over to the Stairwell and go to the North, heading up the stairs. At the top head over and through the door to the East. Go to the first door on the right. Time for another tutorial.

Tutorial: Skinchanger: Call for Mors
“When you use this interactive object, the dog will bark to make Mors come.”

Click on the door, the dog will bark and Mors will come. Use Mors to open the door. Switch back to the dog and look for the scent, which is headed for the gate to the Southwest. As you approach it, another tutorial will come up.

Tutorial: Skinchanger: Types of Scent
“There are many types of smells:
Yellow Smell: the quest smell you are tracking.
Green Smell: the other quest smells.
Blue Smell: explorations smells.
To follow another quest smell, sleet a scent in the scent bar (in Skinchanger mode) by clicking the 'left mouse button.'”

Now head to the West through the gate. It will turn South when you find a branch along that edge of the path. Summon Mors to the scene and he will track down where Poddy was likely headed: Mole's Village.
