Inversion Walkthrough Part 20 – Edge of the World, Part 4

On the other side you will encounter the Fat Man from the beginning of the game,  The Slave Master. Leo and Davis see the crazed men rise up from the pit armed with whatever they could find. He commands them to charge and kill the police duo.

The Slave Master
He summons up 4 converted men from the pit below you. Make for cover and blast anyone and anything that gets in your way. After Leo and Davis cut through everything in the first wave, the Slave Master will start firing blast from his Gravlink. It is revealed he has the High Gravity modification on it. The Slave Master is only vulnerable when he uses his Gravlink. It is best to keep your distance and attack between the Slaves coming at you. Being close will get you pinned down and overrun very easily. In addition to the High Gravity burst, he also has a Flame Whip of sorts. It will smash down for good damage given the chance. He will pause some after a shot to catch his breath.

The second wave is much closer to 12 people and they are very intent on smashing Davis' head in. Keep as many at bay as possible. Each wave after will be the same as this one.  It is also important to keep a good distance between Davis and the Slave Master. This will ensure minimal damage from the Slave Master's Flame Whip and keep Davis safe enough to finish the fight.

Once the Slave Master is down, look to the left of the gate. The Gravlink is already on High Gravity. Take aim at the lever and shoot it to pull it down. Now look to the right of the gate. There is a second weight there you need to hit before the other resets to its initial position. Once that is done, you are ready to go. It is also explained that while using High Gravity, you can create a shield. A single Lutadore will come charging at you. Active the shield and just melee him to death. Now head to the end of the passage and pull the lever on the platform. It will take you down below.

A cutscene runs and Leo with Davis get into a Terraformer and ride it down into the crust of the Earth. Just in time as the Lutadores swarm where they previously were.
