This battlefield is a major threat, and presents in and of itself one of the two biggest obstacles you’re going to face in this battle. With holes that are full of electricity all over the place and towers blocking several routes, it already seems dangerous enough- but that’s just obstruction that enhances the other threats. The actual danger within the battlefield comes in the form of the four zones of yellow or blue bordered metal tiles. Each of these areas, roughly a quarter of the lowered arena floor, is set up with a tower and a button at its corner. This button sends an electrical charge through all of the colored tiles in that quarter, damaging every pokemon in the area- including the one that pressed the button. With the pits making it that much more difficult to travel around these areas, it is virtually impossible to handle the arena without something on your side getting shocked- usually multiple Pokemon at once. Worse yet, the Electric types on the opponent’s side can just ignore the electrified areas, both the lowered constant ones and the shocks that hit the raised panels- Ginchiyo’s army is mostly immune to this trap, giving them free rein over any area they choose to wander.
Occasionally, the electric tower in the center of the field will trigger, causing lightning bolts to rain down in random places- don’t worry too much about this, since there’s nothing you can do about it. Besides, most of the Pokemon you brought into this fight should have been either very tough or specifically resistant to electricity, so the damage isn’t apt to be very large anyhow.
