With the Sandskiff repaired (and a number of side quests completed) it is time to head on in toward the the deeper regions of this area. The Rocket or the Harpoon Weapon are recommended for this quest as they can both inflict a lot of damage quickly.  Head to the Northeast from the Oasis and head for Wurmwater. Just head on over toward that exit. You have a number of different worms to deal with.

Once inside Wurmwater, be sure to take a moment to explore the Pirate village. You can find another message in a bottle there. Afterward head to the South and East. You will find the “Buccaneer's Bacchanal” area. It is in the Southeastern part of the map and found inside an open mountain. Head on in to trigger the next part of the mission.

As you approach Capt. Scarlett's ship, she will be surprised that a 'skiff has come out of Oasis. Her questions are interrupted though as a number of 'skiffs from the Sandman come charging in toward the Bacchanal. Scarlett asks you, politely, to deal with these intruders. Start moving around in your own 'skiff and blast them apart. A few will come through from the entrance you came through first, usually as a pair followed by a single. Turn to the other entrance after you take care of them. There are only a few more 'skiffs will make an appearance. Kill them with your own and head on town the Bacchanal.

Go to the stern of the craft. A platform, with a ladder, will lower down. Get off your 'skiff and head onto the platform. Climb on up the ladder and head into the first room of the craft itself. Take a little time to search the various chests in the area but after that look to the left of the door you came through. You will find a platform with a lever and a full set of vending machines. Use them to restock on any expended ammo and to see if the item of the day is worthwhile for you.

You will find a platform with a lever next to it. Stand on the platform and pull the lever. This will bring you directly to the top of the craft where you can meet Capt. Scarlett. After the introduction talk with her to complete “A Study In Scarlett”. This will also unlock the side quests that are available from Scarlett so grab them as you right there.
