Borderlands 2 Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt Walkthrough Part 3 –  Professor Nakayama, I Presume? (Part 2)

You will want to disembark where you got the Fan boat and start on up the stairs. This will lead you into the Savage village. Start fighting your way up through the Triggermen, Spearmen and Warriors. This alone is not too bad. What makes it very hard are the Witch Doctors that are scattered throughout their ranks. They will power up the various warriors so they can be multiple levels higher than when they started in the battle. Every time they are leveled up they are fully healed. You need to fight there 2 different groups of Warriors, each with their own Witch Doctor. Head around the platforms to the Southern edge of them to find the elevator you need to get up to the higher level of the area

Fight your way to the end of the platforms that wrap around the base of the raised island. This leads to an elevator. Pull the lever on it to raise up to the top level. Hammerlock will contact you as you get close to the elevator to inform you of 2 things: The Savages are likely worshiping something Hyperion and that it is deadly. Then the God is revealed: Claptrap.

Claptrap seems to be doing alright then he starts talking smack about Handsome Jack. He does not seem to get that these Savages see Jack like a God. Take out the initial 6 Worshipers gathered around Claptrap. After that Claptrap taunts everyone else which just makes matters worse and you need to save him again.

This fight starts simply enough with 9 more various Savages coming at you. Deal with the majority of them and the second wave will appear. This time there are Badasses to deal with. They are well spread out and can kind of spawn camp so be careful. Use the amble cover to find protection as needed.

When it is all over go and talk with Claptrap. Major questioning of what you did aside the Vault Hunter will have opened up a number of Sidequests through Claptrap and some through Hammerlock and the Bounty Board as well.
