Dead Island: Riptide Walkthrough Part 52 – Fly Away (Rescue, Evacuation: Concert to Rooftop Defense)
Rescue
Head on out through the windows of the marque. This is a good time to use some Meat Bait if you have any (lobbing a grenade in the same place is a great thing to do as well). Head to the South from the theater once you can get out. You will see a marker in the plaza just a little South of the Theater, to the front of the Church. From there head over to the West and then into the plaza that is accessible from the Western side. Once there just make for the marker in front of you. Welcome to Town Hall. There are quite a few Infected and Walkers that will start coming at you just after you enter here. Take them down quickly.
Head over to the right after you have cleared out the Undead. Climb up onto the stage and look behind the right-hand speaker. You will find a computer there but no CD inside it. Go behind the stage. Before you interact with the marked CD search around and you will find the Sonic Pulse Grenade Blueprint. And grab whatever else you want. Head back to the front of the stage and put the CD on. Once you do, start running. This will complete “Rescue” and trigger the next mission, “Evacuation.”
Evacuation
Haul it out of the concert area as there are a lot of zombies inbound and you really do not want to be there. Head for the Old Town Cinema and climb in. The next part of the mission will not trigger until you get up onto the roof. Restock on ammo and repair all your weapons before you go up to the roof so you are ready for the big fight that is coming.
A cutscene runs with Serpo showing up in a helicopter. Hardy does not fair well in this encounter and things take a turn for the worse. It is time to start defending the room. The first wave starts immediately. Kill them off then rush to the places you can install fencing. Once it is in then you want to start dealing with the rest.
After the first bar there is a brief lull. Use this time to mine the areas around the fence and install new fencing where the old was torn away. It is fairly intense but nothing too bad. It is the third wave where you encounter the first thing you need to worry about.
Between the second and third you have another lull to repair fencing, restock on ammo or change weaponry some. Use it well. The third wave burst out from the shack nearby the ladder. This group includes one Screamer so find that one and take it down quickly as they can wreck havoc with those kinds of reinforcements. After that you will be dealing with lots of Infected and Walkers. Some of them will be notably higher level than you. Just fight fiercely
Just after all that you will find a new place to hide out. Talk with everyone inside to get the next quest, “The Crash.”
