Shadowrun Returns Walkthrough Part 4 – The Dead Man's Switch: Welcome to Redmond (Barrens: Crime Scene)

Head over to the crime scene now. It is time to deal with some things. Take some time to check your equipment and have it ready. Be sure that you have the SoyKaf and a donut then go talk with the cop, Officer Kuprik and the transient William. After a quick talk between the 2, William will step again and you can talk with Kuprik.

Talking with Kuprik you can see a number of options. You can say that Dresden sent you over, lie about being there for spectral DNA, offering him the SoyKaf and donut, Bribe him (100 nuyen), use Etiquette Security or just say you were passing by. Things are just easiest if you offering the SoyKaf and donut.

Once inside the murder site it is time to look around. Just by the entrance you have your first piece: some shards of broken glass: grab it. Now go to the North, and interact with the little shelter. Grab the Coat and Blankets to get a bar tab receipt from the Seamstresses Union for Sam Watts with the server's name listed as Coyote. Now look at the outline to get the next clue. There are 2 sets of prints: 1 human and 1 ork or troll. Finally look at the work light for the final clue in the alleyway.

Head on out of the crime scene and go over to William. Give him his coat and blanket. Talk with him to learn a little more of what happened that night. He tells you some stuff about the person he saw that looked a bit out of the ordinary. Head on over to the Seamstresses Union now.  Take some time to talk with Dan the Donut man again. Ask him about the troll last night and then buy some SoyKaf and a donut. He still will not give up anything on that fellow. Time to get in a little more. Head on over to the Seamstresses Union and see what was going on.
