As you head up Falkreath's Southern mountain pass, either to sneak up behind the dragon at Ancient's Ascent or to clear out the vampires at the Bloodlet Throne, you're likely to note a vein of Moonstone Ore at a point where the route turns to head more direclty uphill for a time. The vein marks a divergence in the path- if you head past it to the West and continue along the area you can walk, you will start passing some odd posts with tiny pressure plates mounted on them. These then give way to a wooden stair leading up to a small shack, where a lone woman works to repair her home and tend her fire. This is Angi, and you have found Angi's Camp.
This location is of interest to anyone who practices archery as they travel through Skyrim, as Angi is an archer of no small skill.
When you first speak to her, Angi is not so much cautious as outright threatening, promising you that you'll sprout fletching from your skull if you get up to anything funny. While you could attack her in response, you'll get far more out of this encounter if you're sane and simply reply that you're not here to attack her.
Angi says she's been living for a few years out here, having left Helgen when her family died. She claims to have been uncomfortable with the sympathies she recieved from others over it, which is why she left. You can follow suit and offer condolences, which prompts her to tell you not to feel sorry for her, or you can ask who killed her family.
According to the archer, it was simply two random drunks who thought that, being Imperials, they wouldn't get any trouble for it. If you like, you can offer to kill her family's murderers but, unlike most people in Skyrim, she's already taken care of that issue herself. The woman does admit that that's part of why she's out here and thanks you for offering.
The targets, she explains, have been up for a long time- she uses them to keep her archery skills sharp, as that's her main way of protecting herself out here in the middle of nowhere. On prompting, she claims to be fairly good with her bow and asks if you are an archer yourself. You can be humble, challenging, or a braggart, but either way, she'll let you know that you can use her targets for practice. In fact, she even has a bow you can use (though whether it's actually on the rack left of her door or has fallen off onto the ground is at the whim of your game).
