LEGO games have a lot in them don't they. I've been playing through LEGO Batman 3, and it's massive. While the core set of story levels are long enough on their own, the rest of the package is insane in terms of content. You just have to have a glance at the character select screen, still predominantly filled with locked characters even after finishing the campaign, to realise how much hidden stuff there is here. And it's all stuff DC fans will get a real kick out of. If you want to 100% complete the game you're going to have to spend a lot of time with Traveller's Tales latest.

I've still only played 90 minutes of it, but what I lack in play time I've more than made up for by watching videos online. While I still believe Jim when he says there's a great game behind the glitches, this week has been a complete embarrassment for Ubisoft. From this faceless monstrosity and superb Daytona bug, to NPCs hilariously interrupting a private chat with Napoleon, the prolific amount of bugs in Unity highlight a serious issue that the publisher cannot ignore.

As mentioned on the podcast, it's fairly evident that Ubisoft's to-the-wire production cycles don't offer the development teams an adequate amount of time to polish and bug fix - a mistake I thought the publisher may have learned from by the reaction to Assassin's Creed 3 and its decision to delay Watch Dogs beyond the Christmas window. But on the evidence of Unity that clearly isn't the case. For the sake of its franchise, reputation and business, it needs to learn from this year's mistakes – and with consumer confidence seemingly at an all-time low, it needs to learn quick.

Brett Phipps, Staff Writer - Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Xbox One

I’ve usually had my yearly fill of Call of Duty multiplayer after a few hours, but this year is different. Advanced Warfare is bloody brill.

Not only is it great fun, but for the first time in years, I’m actually getting pretty good at it. I feel like I’ve surpassed the initiation period, and now know exactly what to do at the start of TDM on each map.

There are minor issues, though, which I discussed on the podcast a couple of weeks ago. In comparison to Titanfall, the Exo abilities don’t feel intrinsically tied to the level design. I’m having to delay double jumps and boosts in order to land in windows and onto ledges, whereas in Respawn’s shooter everything is perfectly placed.

But, all in all, this is the best COD in a very long time, and I can’t wait for my next match.
