Plants vs. Zombies 2
Now that you know how to succeed against the Excavator and Parasol Zombies, it is time to focus on particular levels of the Lost City. Level 8 is the first stage of this world that gets somewhat more challenging. Don’t worry, it will be quite manageable if you stick to our strategy!
In level 8, you have to prevent the zombies from stepping on your flowers. These are arranged in front of the third row of tiles. You don’t have a choice of plants and will have to make do with what is selected for you. The level features Red Stingers, A.K.E.E., Iceberg Lettuce, and Puff-Shrooms. First focus on planting two Puff-Shrooms on sun-tiles, as these will regularly reward you with sun. Then, start planting Red Stingers and A.K.E.E.s next. We would recommend having one Red Stinger and two A.K.E.E.s in each lane. We would also advise you to plant an Iceberg Lettuce in each lane right in front of the flowers to protect them if things get rough. Position more Puff-Shrooms wherever it is necessary.
This is what our setup looked like in the end.
Focus on planting A.K.E.E.s first, as the Excavator Zombies appear before the Parasol Zombie. We would recommend using the two green leaves of this level for the Iceberg Lettuce when there is a huge wave of zombies as this freezes them all.
Following this strategy should allow you to easily make it through this level of the tower defense game.
