Weak Spot Guide: B1 - World of Tanks

The tier 4 French heavy tank B1 in World of Tanks is the first heavy tank most new players encounter. The B1 might not that the thickest armor for it’s tier but overall it is heavily armored on the front, sides, and rear for tier 4.  This guide will be more simplistic than the higher tiered guides to keep it easy to understand for newer players.  Green are the easiest locations to damage, followed by yellow/orange, and then red is the hardest locations to damage. Purple means there is no hit box(shells pass through) or for other areas there is no chance of doing HP damage by shooting there.

Keep in mind that some area might be labeled as being thinner than other areas while still being listed as “red” or hard to penetrate. This is due to the angle and the height of the B1 compared to other tier 4 tanks.  For an area like the roof armor above the gun which is 25mm….Yes it is “weak” but for many shorter tanks shoot at it the armor will be very difficult due to the 60+ degree angle or it will actually bounce off every time due to it being over 70 degrees. Keep this in mind and dont rely on this guide 100% as your own tank’s height and other aspects need to be factored in.
