Tank Presentation

This Chinese light tank is considered by many players as one of the most interesting from the nation. Extremely swift, excellent to manage, you should be capable of some good drifting here. However, despite a good rate of fire, do not expect to be shattering any big armour, you are a light tank after all. As for its history, it was between 1957 and 1959 that the Chinese government developed this model. The vehicle, weighing 16 tons, was originally equipped with a 57mm gun which was later replaced by a 76 mm.

Aspects of the Gameplay

The 56-16 requires you to use maximum mobility. Once entered into enemy territory you must never stop, or you run the risk of the guns opposite raining down on you. Given the low quality of your armour, you should consider the slightest hit as being potentially lethal. It is especially important not to shoot if you have your enemies in the viewfinder. Let others shoot in your place. Moreover, the low power of your guns may not even scratch the tanks in front of you, so let's not get into hot water for nothing.
The temptation is often to shoot, but do not forget that you win a lot of XP points by getting damage through your detection. Yes role is thankless, and you are a bit like the guy who picks up the soap for his mates.
In the midst of battle, attempts to break through to the enemy artillery can be made if the enemy lines are stretched. You will need ballz and talent, and a good observation skills to grasp the right moment.

Strong Points/Weak Points

Strong Points
A lot of mobility and pretty fast. The tank has an Autoloader. Pretty svelte, you will be able to danse between the shells – but only sometimes. Autoloader + Gun Rammer = heroic slaughter.

 

Weak Points
Your vision is much reduced. It's the big handicap of this tank, making the task of scouting quite tricky. You are very weak. Despite your excellent rate of fire, your penetration is very weak and will prevent you from taking out the biggest opponents.

Buying Order

Personally, the investment of the turret and the engine are the first two purchases to make. Your mobility and vision must be optimised quickly, especially with a light tank. The base radio is fairly good quality but should be the next upgrade. Before thinking about the damage you can do as a light tank, think about being able to reveal the enemies.

 

Turret

• 131-1 / This upgrade isn't the best, but you get an extra 20m of vision (from 360m to 380m). This enhancement will allow you to erase, in part, one of the biggest flaws of your tank.

Gun

• 12150L3  / For light tanks, mobility is the key to success. This second engine has a power of 430 PS (against 400 with the Type 102).

Radio

• A-220A  / So yes, researching this equipment is very expensive (* 7000 + 9500), but the radio is one of the essential elements. The 9RM has a range of 525m, against 750 with the A-220A.
