Katarina's cooldowns are reduced by 15% if she recovers a kill or an assist, this would then have the effect of recuperating the total cooldown of her Q/W/E.In teamfight, Katarinas should often hide themselves at the beginning to finally attack once the opponents have little control left and have often lost HP. The spell to make your opponents crazy
The Shunpo is a very important spell for Katarina, it is therefore essential to master it quickly.You can use it on your opponents, your allies, the sbires, neutral monsters or even a ward to chase/escape. It is therefore interesting to use it to create distance between yourself and your opponents, although you do need vision to use it.
Having a ward on you can therefore be very useful for getting out of very dangerous situations or to pass through a wall because if you place the ward and the quickly use Shunpo on it then you can get out of a lot of situations.
It inflicts a good amount of damages and lets you surprise your enemies. Try to place it after you have marked your enemy with your Bouncing Blades in order to do more damages.
The demage reduction bonus (15% for 3 seconds) is also very useful to resist your opponents' burst .
During a teamfight, if you recover an assist or a kill then this spell will be ready again and will let you catch the fugitives and also feed you. This helps you to snowball.

Work your placement so that you don't get stopped quickly.The ultimate is quite difficult to place because you are very exposed because of its weak range of a diameter of 550 so can easily be targeted. You should therefore concentrate to know what controls are being used by your opponents. And in the beginning you should be aware of the controls of your opponents that are capable to interrupting you.
A "bump", a fear, a silence, a stun, a suppression... All of these can interrupt you because it is a chanelled spell!
If your team has a lot of controls you can inflict important damages.
The ultimate can touch up to 3 targets, so it would be best to position yourself in a way that enables you to maximise your damages, but also to kill at least one opponent to activate your passive and also to follow up with kills and win the teamfight for your team.
