Pico Rally Cheats: Tips, Tricks & Strategy Guide

Race your way around the world in the simple yet fun racing game! Pico Rally is a rally racing game with one touch controls. It’s all about controlling your speed here, so we’re going to help you out with our Pico Rally cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide.

Are you ready to reach first place? Let’s get started with our Pico Rally tips and tricks guide.

1. Slow down for bends and turns!

So, this is pretty much the key to winning races: control your speed! When you see a turn coming up, let go of the gas and let your car automatically take the turn. If you’ve slowed down enough, your car should take the turn pretty well. Try to time your gas again right when your car is pulling out of the turn for the most efficient way to get through it.

2. The light blue cars don’t matter!

This took me a while to figure out but since the game doesn’t have a position indicator, it’s understandable. You have opponents cars in your races, but there will always be cars colored light blue cars. These cars aren’t actually part of the race; they’re just there to screw you up! So don’t worry if you’re trailing behind one of these guys.

3. Watch out for other cars!

The cars that DO matter are usually colored purple, orange, or white. Sometimes they’re even a different shade of light blue, which can get a little confusing. Anyways, there’s not much you can do to avoid running into the other racers since your control is automated, but you can slow down or power through. What I find works best is that if you’re butting sides with another car, try to keep up with them. When you get to a turn, try to take it as best as you can, and usually what ends up happening is that you collide with the other car, sending them out of bounds a little bit.

4. Aim for fast times!

You need to collect a certain amount of stars in one region in order to unlock the next one. This means that you’re going to have to beat some tricky times. Don’t worry about getting these out of the way on your first runs, as the later levels need some familiarity before you can tackle it properly. Practice makes perfect!

That should be good to give you the boost you need to get through the races. Remember, it’s all about controlling your speed and taking turns efficiently! If you have any other questions or suggestions, leave a comment below.
