Sniper Fury guide - Tips and tricks to be an efficient soldier

Being a sniper is all about efficiency, so it makes sense that the progression loop in Sniper Fury also operates this way (and, you know, because it's a free-to-play game).

Here are some tips to help you focus on the right things at the right time.

Don't always go for headshots

Yes, it's true that headshots in Sniper Fury grant bonuses (and look cool), but they usually aren't worth it - particularly as you progress to harder challenges.

Because they only grant cash - the most free-flowing resource in the game - it's better to make sure you pass the challenge to avoid wasting stamina than to go for all headshots.

Go for gold!

Gold raiding is probably the most important aspect of progression in Sniper Fury, so here's a hot tip on attacking bases: Just because a base has a high defense rating, doesn't mean it will yield more gold.

When looking for bases to strike, make sure you look at both the gold reward as well as the defense rating.

Optimize your mission order

Sniper Fury has a ton of different mission options, and it can be confusing to know where to start. Here's a breakdown of which ones to pursue when:

  • Story Missions: They grant the highest rewards, but usually have the steepest price for entry. Do these whenever you can afford to.
  • Sniper/Assault Missions: Help string you along the upgrade path for your sniper and assault rifles respectively. Do these when you are gated from the next story mission.
  • Contract Missions: These are randomized missions to give you variety if you need to grind out cash. Avoid these missions unless you need to grind out money.
  • Base Attack Missions: These are your primary way of earning gold. Do these whenever you need to craft items for your weapons.
