There’s a little unknown film called Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out quite soon, so Star Wars: Commander - Worlds in Conflict has just been updated with new content.
In honor of it, we’ve taken a look at what’s new and how you can check it out.
Not played in a while? Don’t worry about it. Star Wars: Commander - Worlds in Conflict will welcome you back with open arms.
More importantly, it’ll give you free units for logging back in! You’ll earn 5 each of the two new units available to you via this update - and the best part is that they're absolutely free!
The Luggabeast Munitioneer is used alongside other units to increase their offensive capabilities. It has a special damage buff that boosts your friendly unit’s strength, and it can make all the difference in combat.
The other unit is the Dowutin Hunter - a soldier class that offers thermal detonators and a modified star fighter blaster cannon.
Use these free units to experiment and see what works best for them.
Upgrade your Headquarters
Upgrade your headquarters to level 5 as soon as possible. That way you can explore the Galaxy and check out the new planet - Takodana.
Expect to participate in various battles here, and enjoy the additional content like Maz’s Castle.
Importantly, it’s where your two new units will really come into their own and you can be more involved in their usage.
Don’t forget the details
It’s less exciting than a whole new planet, but don’t forget about the little things.
If you’re with the Empire, you can now send medical and repair payloads to nearby units with a T-5 Deliverance Shuttle, while Rebel Forces can do similar with the E-50 Landseer. It’s a subtle but important tweak.
