Trivia Crack is a popular game among millions of people throughout the world in 2016, it is available for iOS, Android, Windows, and also runs through Facebook. Trivia Crack is an interactive knowledge game where you can compete and play with your friends as well as other people from all over that are playing this game as well, and with a built-in chat you can communicate with ease. Here is a fairly detailed review of the game, as well as tips on how to get the most out of this game whether you are playing with friends or alone.
If you want to play Trivia Crack, you need to be running at least a 4.0 in Android and you will need at least Apple iOS 6.0. You can play this device through any Android device such as a smart phone or tablet and can play it using any Apple device running 6.0 or better, such as an iPod Touch 4G, iPhone or iPad.
The current version of this game is 1.9.3 and it’s coming in at 42.4 MB, which is a fairly small download for a game, and it will take about 3 or 4 minutes to completely download. One cool thing about this game is that it’s available in English, Arabic, Catalan, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish
Having extra lives and coins to buy PowerUps can be crucial to being successful in Trivia Crack. Having extra bombs, skips, and double choice power ups can definitely give you an edge over your opponents. So what do you do if you run out of lives or coins? Well, you can wait until Trivia Crack replenishes your lives and you can save up your coins as you play but both of these options can take a lot of time. Either that or you can spend your real money to buy these resources in the game, but who wants to do that?
That’s the reason why we’ve added a Trivia Crack hack to our selection at App Game Cheats. The Trivia Crack hack lets you add unlimited amounts of lives, spins and coins to your account – for free! It’s easy and free to use the hack tool. There’s no survey or jailbreak needed to use the hack tool. All you need to do to get started is download the hack onto your phone or tablet. Once the hack is installed on your Android or iOS device, you’ll see a menu screen like the one pictured below.
After you download the Trivia Crack hack onto your device, it will install automatically and be ready to use. To begin, select which type of device you are using (iOS or Android) and then tap the “Detect Device” button. Android users do not need to root into the game’s APK and iOS does not require a jailbreak! This will connect the hack tool to your Trivia Crack account. Now just type in the amount of spins and coins you want to add to your account. You can check the boxes to add a full recharge and unlimited lives too. Once you’ve entered all of the information, tap the “Patch Game” button to begin the hack!
It usually take about 30 seconds for the hack to finish adding the coins, spins and lives to your Trivia Crack account. You can view the progress of the hack in the status bar on your screen. The hack tool will notify you when it’s complete. Now just open the Trivia Crack app and you’ll see that the spins, coins and lives have been added to your account. Prepare to make all of your friends and opponents jealous by getting every question correct!
When you are playing Trivia Crack, your main goal is to get a character for each of the 6 categories of the game. These categories include Art, Sports, Science, Geography, History, and Entertainment. There are over 90,000 questions that are available in this game, which means it’s unlikely you will get the same question more than once. What’s even more fun is that you can also write in your own question and submit it for review, so a lot of the questions come from user-generated content. There is a maximum of 25 rounds per match and whoever first gets all 6 of the characters will win the match.
The Special Slot
When you spin the wheel, it could land on a special slot, which is the icon that looks like a crown. When the wheel stops on the special slot, you will be asked whether or not you want to play for a chance to win a character or you can challenge your friend to a duel. This is the strategy part of the game because if you challenge your friend to a duel and you win, then you can steal one of the characters that your friend has, which essentially will put you one step closer to winning the game.
The only way though that you can steal the character from your friend is if you answer the special questions correctly. You will be able to select the character you want to play for your part in the duel and you will also be able to select which character of your friends you want to be playing to win. Each person will be given the same questions, with one question appearing from each category. You will only win the challenge if you answered more questions correctly than your friend. If you lose and you were the one making the bet, then you will lose the character you put up to bet. There have been cases where both players answered the same number of questions correctly, in which case the defender gets another question, and if he or she misses that question, then the defender loses the challenge. This part of the game really is fun because it’s a competition between you and your friend, and it can help both people realize just how smart the other person is when it comes to trivia games.
Is It Worth the Time?
If you are into Trivia, then you will have a lot of fun with this game just like I did. What I found most enjoyable is the fact that you are facing so many different questions in the 6 categories, so it’s not like you will get the same science question over and over again. I also liked how easy it was to read the questions and answers and press the choice you think the answer is. Sometimes games don’t respond that well when you touch the screen or there are minor glitches in the game, but this game does not have any glitches in it at all. To me, that is what makes a game the most fun is knowing that I can play and not have to worry about it closing itself out or there being a glitch that might mess up a question or an answer. As a female, I found the questions to be very reasonable in terms of art, movies, science, history, and sports. I really get into sports but even if you aren’t the questions are not terribly difficult, for example, one question is how many innings are in a game of baseball? That is a fairly easy question to answer even if you don’t like baseball and don’t pay attention, because it falls more on common sense than something really tricky.
If you have children I would definitely download this game because it’s so fun and addicting but it’s also very educational and you learn a lot about a variety of topics. Children might not know a lot of these questions if they are under 11 years old, but it can still be entertaining to them and help them learn in a different kind of way. It’s also a game that you can play with your kids, which means you have an opportunity to use Trivia Crack as a brainteaser and help them learn in the process. I first thought this game would be too difficult because the questions are often user-created, but that actually makes the questions easier and more relative to everyday life and people.
Link To Facebook- One way you can really help yourself out is to link your game to Facebook, because you will be able to send out lives to your friends and family. Linking to Facebook will help connect you with everyone so that you can help each other when it comes to lives and also can spin in both directions between your friends.
Do As Many Achievements As Possible- On the Menu screen, you will see achievements that you can do, and you should do them all if you can. When you successfully complete an achievement, you will get a certain amount of coins for that specific achievement. These coins can then be used to purchase power-ups, which will obviously help you beat the game.
Use Power-Ups Effectively- One cool thing about Trivia Crack is that you can use bombs to get rid of 2 out of the 4 possible answers. This means that you can basically have a 1 out of 2 shot at getting the right answer, but you shouldn’t use these bombs all the time. Try to use them when you really aren’t sure of the answer. When you feel like you know the answer, you should just go with it because often times your gut intuition is correct. Make sure you use the time power-ups too, which will double the time you have to answer the question, which is a good way to help you stall until you find the answer via the computer if needed.
Can You Cheat?
Of course there is always the possibility you can cheat during this game, but honestly, why would you? The only true way to cheat in this game is to use Siri to ask for the answers to the questions or to look up the questions and answers via your computer or tablet. That whole process typically takes longer than you have on the timer, unless you are on high-speed and can type or talk fast enough. The way I see it, cheating takes away the fun of this game because it is a trivia based game and the whole purpose of the game is to compete with friends and family and learn about a variety of topics along the way. If you cheat, you are just simply trying to make yourself feel better because you think you aren’t smart enough to figure it out on your own.
You might be more opt to cheat if you are playing against other people you don’t know, since you will likely want to make yourself seem smarter and you will want to win the matches. I have found that it takes too much time to cheat in this game, because you have to look up all the answers to the questions. You only have so much time to answer the questions so if you have to sit there and type the question then look for the answer, you will likely run out of time or mess up typing it because of the timer. Trivia Crack is more of a knowledge brainteaser type of game, so I just find it silly to cheat because you are missing the entire point of the game. With so many thousands of questions within the game, you would have to keep looking up answers because you won’t be able to memorize every question and answer.
In-App Purchases
What I did not like about the game, which is common in most games these days, is the fact they keep trying to sell you in-app items available for purchase. No I don’t want to purchase anything for this game, as I have better things to spend my money on. If I can’t figure things out on my own then I will just have to wait it out or look it up, I don’t want to spend money on a game. I also did not like how expensive the in-app purchases for this game are, with a full recharge being $.99 but it’s $5 to extend your lives to 5? That seems a bit excessive to me. You can purchase 10 coins for $.99 but 55 coins is $4.99, so it’s really not worth purchasing these items. This is also important to note if you have your children playing the game because these prices can really cause a dent in your credit or debit card if you have one linked to your smart phone or tablet. If you really want extra lives that bad, you can simply turn the clock on the device you are using ahead by a few hours, which is basically a cheat that you can use in just about any game. I felt that these in-app purchases are nothing more than a rip-off and basically it’s an impulse buy type of situation.
Ratings:
Addictiveness: I would score this game 9/10 on addictiveness. When it comes to being addicting, this is one of the most addicting games out there and is still addicting in 2016, and I would par it with Candy Crush when it comes to that aspect. You want to keep playing because you want to collect the characters and you want to win the matches, and also you want to keep answering questions to make yourself feel smart.
Game Play: I think Trivia Crack gets an 8/10 on game play because it’s really fun and enjoyable, plus it’s a game you can put down and pick up whenever you want. You don’t feel like you are wasting your time or life playing this because you are learning at the same time. I really enjoyed the variety of questions and the ease of hitting the buttons and the challenge was exciting as well. It also did not glitch or close out unexpectedly like some games do, and it was easy to figure out what you were supposed to do without needing to read a bunch of directions. It’s also good because your kids can get involved and you don’t have to worry about them reading things that might be explicit or questionable in nature.
Sounds/Music: I am a fan of the music in Trivia Crack, I think because it’s very upbeat and happy. It sounds like maybe the kind of music you would hear in a television commercial about people coming together or enjoying themselves with food and games. What it reminded me of was a group of people laughing at Thanksgiving dinner, like the sound that would be in their heads as they feel comfort and excitement or positive vibes. and it’s not very loud or annoying music that distracts you from the game at hand. I also found that this music almost seemed to help me believe in myself when it came time to guess if I was not sure of an answer, so it will make you feel happy and upbeat.
Artwork: When it comes to art work, I was not overly impressed with the designs so I thought a 5/10 was fair on this scale. There isn’t anything that is too visually appealing to me and it reminded me of a lot of other smart phone games in that department. I kind of like the less-appealing artwork though because it does make the game run smoother and that there is less of a chance the game will crash.
Overall: Overall I would give this game a 9.3/10 because it’s really fun and the questions are unique and very thoughtful. I think the challenge is a great addition to this game because it makes playing with friends or family even more exciting, especially if you win and can take one of their characters. What I also love about this game is that it’s fun to use the chat function and talk to other people and even talking smack is enjoyable. I also found that the variety of the questions and categories means you can keep playing for hours without feeling you have heard or seen that before, and it’s a way to keep your brain engaged and focused without exerting yourself too much.
