World of warriors is an epic adventure, strategic warrior and thrilling experience for users who like RPGs. While not being as fine as some of the more sophisticated PC games, World of Warriors still provides a fairly good experience for iOS users and is capable of making a good name in mobile gaming. The evil king Boneshaker is back from exile to the Wildlands with his evil army of minions and intends to enslave its inhabitants. Now it is your responsibility to defeat his army and save the people of Wildlands. Defeating an entire army seems to be a difficult task. Thankfully, we have a time traveling building called Temple of Epics which will help us travel to different eras and summon the finest warriors from all civilizations. It’s been a while since they last fought so they might need some training. As they train and fight battles, they keep getting stronger. Battles when won give quite a bit of revenue so you will be able to go back in time again and again to buy more fine warriors thus ultimately making an epic army which will end this tale of Boneshaker forever. The game also teaches you a lot of history facts in a very interesting way. Fighting battles, making army, saving people and learning history for FREE! What could be better?
At first, you will be given only one warrior. You can then go to the battle map and defeat some enemies. The battles will give you some money to unlock further warriors, train and equip them with several weapons. All things are covered in detail below.
The game starts with a fight. It is a turn based game where your warrior will be shown on the left side of the screen and the enemy will be shown on the right side. You can attack the enemy by tapping the sword icon shown at the corner of the screen. After the attack has been initiated, the screen will show a sword with a moving pointer on it. To attack the opponent, you will have to tap on the screen when the moving pointer reaches specific points on the sword shown by red spots. The nearer the pointer to the spot while tapping, the more powerful the attack will be. Then it will be enemy’s turn. As he attacks you, you will see some hearts and blue glowing balls popping out of your warrior. You can collect these items by tapping on the screen to regain some health and Mana.
Resources in World of Warriors are crucial to developing your warrior’s skills and getting more inventory. It’s very difficult to earn Wildstones without spending money and it can be equally as difficult to save up Gold, Honor Stones, and Red Crystals. In order to have an advantage in World of Warriors, you need these resources, especially Wildstones. Nobody wants to spend their real money on this currency though, that’s why we’ve added the hack for World of Warriors to AGC.

Every warrior also has a special move which he can initiate to cause significantly more damage to the enemies than normal moves. Special moves are almost same, to initiate as normal moves except in normal moves, you have to tap on only one red spot on the sword while in special moves, there are several spots to be tapped. Special moves utilize 3 chunks of Mana. You can collect Mana from the screen after being hit by the enemy or use in-game potions to gain it. After the Mana is finished, you will have to wait for it to fill up again before you can hit enemy with any special moves.
Tapping on a warrior’s photo in warrior book will bring up their Warrior Information Card. This card shows everything you need to know about that warrior. At upper left corner, star rating and experience level of the warrior is shown. As the warriors fight battles, they gain experience. After the experience bar is full, you will be prompted to train the warrior by taking it to the home camp. Home camp is a building where a veteran warrior is available to help us train our army. You will have to wait for the warriors to train. Once a warrior is trained, their level is increased. Every warrior has a level cap. Once the level cap is reached, you will be prompted to upgrade them. Every time a warrior is upgraded, their star rating increases by one and their level cap is also raised by 5 or 6. Also, with every upgrade, either one Talisman slot or skill slot is unlocked.
Apart from training and upgrading the warriors, you can also unlock new warriors. New warriors can be found in the Temple of Epics. In Temple of Epics, there are three temples, the right, central and the left temple. The right temple is opened by using honor stones which are earned in the battles. The right temple usually contains loot but if you are lucky, you can find some fine warriors there too. The central door can only be opened using Wildstones which are rarest and hardest to earn. In the central temple, greatest warriors of all times reside. If you wish to unlock new warriors, this is the place to go to. The western temple is a mystery. According to the game, it is aligned with the ancient calendars and only opens at certain times. No one knows what you may find in there.
Every warrior has two types of skills, the warrior skills and the leader skills. Warrior skills are passive skills which are activated when the warrior takes action like the ability to make critical hits which inflict extra damage to the enemy. Some are activated when enemy is taking action such as Armor, which reduces damage inflicted by the enemy and some skills activate when no action is taking place at all, like Recharge which causes your warrior to regain health while they are off-screen. Skills are obtained at star levels 3,5 and 7. The higher the star level, the better the warrior skills.
Second type is the leader skills. If a warrior with a leader skill is made leader of the team, their skill will affect all members of the opponent’s team. For example if a warrior with 15% more damage is made leader, opponent’s whole team will be effected by it. All warriors have different leader skills. Some warriors have far higher leader skills than the others. You will get a better idea as you play the game.
Apart from the skills, there is another thing called Talisman which really makes a difference in the fight. Talisman are said to be left over charms from the forgotten times which can be used for immense advantages during battles. For example, there is a Talisman called Heart Amulet which when equipped increases 15% health of the warrior. The total number of Talismans is near to 50 and all of them provide warrior with a unique ability. Every warrior has 3 slots for talismans to be equipped meaning a player can have three Talisman equipped simultaneously. But these slots are locked in the beginning and unlock with increase in warrior’s star level.
Talismans can be crafted in the foundry shop. Every Talisman needs some materials to be crafted. These materials are collected as loot after winning the battles. These Talismans can also be in the loot of battles. Sometimes you may be lucky enough to find some in the left temple of the Temple of Epics—also known as Honor Door.
As a bonus, there are also potions along with the Talismans to provide you with some extra power and make the game interesting—and a bit complicated. Just like Talismans, they can be used to turn the tables to your side. There are three types of potions: Boosters, Mana potions and XP potions.
Boosters increase the effectiveness of actions up to 50%. Additionally, they insure your every action gets an efficiency of 100% no matter how bad your timing is. If you hit on time though, you can reach the effectiveness of 150%. These boosters apply not only to the attacks but other actions like healing a component and so on. Also, these boosters can be stacked up with Talismans to gain the effectiveness of more than 150%. Boosters cannot be stacked with other boosters though meaning you can only use one booster at a time.
Second type is Mana potions which are used to get extra 3 chunks of Mana which can then be used to trigger special moves. A player can use two Mana potions back to back. Boosters can be used just after the Mana potions to increase the effectiveness of your special moves.
Third type of potion is XP potion. XP potions can be used to increase the experience of warrior instantaneously. To craft XP potions, you will need a recipe which will automatically be granted to you once you reach certain locations in the game. You then will have to collect asked materials and Voila!
Now that we understand the itty bitty details about the warriors, their skills and Talismans, it’s time to move towards elemental alignment. This game works in the same manner as rock, paper scissor game. Every warrior when passes through the temple is assigned one of the four element, which are; air, water, earth and fire.
Fire is stronger than earth. Earth is stronger than air. Air is stronger than water. Water is stronger than fire.
If a warrior of a stronger element attacks warrior of a weaker element, they can inflict up to 72% more damage. If a warrior attacks another warrior of the same element or an element which is neither stronger nor weaker than the other, there is no change in the damage and if a warrior of weaker element attacks one of the stronger element warriors, they may inflict up to 72% less damage. This game really brings in the quotation to life “Know your enemy and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a 100 battles, do not know your enemy nor yourself and you will be imperiled in every single battle”. Keep in mind that if you do plan on jumping into a battle without knowing what exactly to expect or even who you’re fighting against, you are going to have a really bad time. All information you need about your enemy can be found by tapping on their photo prior to the battle.
Real life or a game, to many people, life is just colorless cactus without money. So let us talk about currency which is a major reason of all the good and bad in life; and this game. First of all, the Wildstones; they are the most rare and useful currency in the game. It is very difficult to earn Wildstones without spending real money. Understandably, they provide absolute power to the player. There is not much you cannot do while having Wildstones in your pocket (only in the game). They are necessary to open the central temple in The Temple of Epics in order to unlock new warriors.
Another currency which is rather less rare is Honor Stones. They are won as loot from the battles and from the left temple. As a rule of thumb, you always have plenty of them so you might want to spend them on warriors and stuff.
Gold is the most used currency in the game. You earn gold as loot in the end of battles. It is used to enter the Tower of Trials, to train your soldiers, to craft Talisman and much more. Ham works as the energy to fight battles. Every time you fight a battle, you utilize one ham and after all of them are gone, you stare at your phone desperately waiting for them to fill up. Good thing the waiting time is no more than 10 minutes. Scrolls are also a thing. They are used to enter fights in Tower of Trials. Like ham, they stack automatically.
Apart from the regular battles, you can also go to the Tower of Trials where you can fight great warriors and prove your strength. The Tower of Trials has 5 floors. As you go higher, reward increases and opponents become significantly stronger. Top tower is notably difficult. There are some rare items which can only be found in the Tower of Trials.
There is a battle between the players of World of Warriors from all over the world as well as pre-selected group of 20 people every two weeks which lasts for two weeks known as Battle League. At the end of the league, top three players are rewarded with Wildstones, Honor Stones and much more.
World of Warriors is currently running version 1.3.4 and requires your device to be running at least iOS version 6.0 or later. The game is currently only available to play in English which might make playing the game a little difficult for those who don’t speak English considering that there is quite a fair bit of text in the game. The game can be downloaded for free from the apps store with the option to purchase additional currency and other in app content. The game currently has a four and a half star rating on the app store and has received very positive reviews from those who have played the game. Facebook integration is also enabled in World of Warriors, allowing you to find any friends that might be playing the game too.
There are various options when it comes to the in app purchases of this game. You are able to purchase various packages of both red crystals and wildstones all containing different values. A bonus pack of wildstones costs $1.99, a pile of wildstones costs $4.99, a bag of wildstones costs $9.99, a chest of wildstones costs $19.99, an epic chest of wildstones costs $49.99 and a cart of wildstones costs $99.99. Both red crystals and wildstones are huge helps in the game as they can get you some cool new heroes and help with leveling them up.
There are currently various working hacks for World of Warriors, if you choose to apply one of these hacks, be very wary as many users have made reports of being banned for cheating. If you’d rather not risk being banned, there are legitimate ways of easily working through the game. Follow these tips I have found to work.
When you win the battles, you win new prizes and unlock many items. Do not let them stay lying there. Regularly check for new items. Your progress will become faster.
Wildstones are the rarest currency and hardest to earn. Do not use them on anything other than opening the central temple in the Temple of Epics. Honor stones are less rare and you win them quite frequently so you do not need to worry much about them but try not to waste them where not needed.
As the level of warriors increase, training them further starts taking more and more time. Try to train them when you are done playing the game so that the next time you fire up the game, the warrior is good to go. This way, you will also have the warriors available while playing the game without waiting or spending a lot of Wildstones.
Use Talismans wisely, they can only be used for a limited number of times. If you visit the left temple frequently, you might be able to collect a lot of them.
Boost potions are used to increase the impact of attacks. Use them with the moves that injure multiple opponents. This way, you will be able to inflict maximum harm to the whole enemy team, including players who are off-screen.
Take detours from the real path. There are several items lying around on those paths. Experience and items from those places will allow you to be stronger in battles with minions and in the Temple of Trials.
My last piece of advice to you would be to connect the game to your Facebook account. You can send and receive Honor Stones as free gifts from Facebook friends. Moreover, when you connect to Facebook, your progress is saved both online and locally. In case your brother smacks your phone in a wall, you can say “No worries, the only valuable thing in it was World of Warriors and it is saved online”.
Artwork: I give World of Warriors a 9/10 for its graphics. The graphics in this game are stunning. Action is very beautiful. Moves are designed in such a way that the player becomes part of the game instead of just being an audience as in many games of same genre. Despite of being a war game, animations of warriors are very cute. Game is not gory at all.
Music and SFX: I give the game an 8/10 for it music and SFX. Bothe the music and sound effects are so clichéd for this kind of game. In spite of this, it only served to make the game even better. The sound effects were very well incorporated into the fights without feel distracted or anything. The music was minimal at most, but it really fit into the game and really helped build ambiance.
Story and originality: I give the game a 6/10 for its story and originality. The story is anything but new. There have been a lot of games about defeating evil and saving the world. Nothing in the game is new but everything is merged beautifully. There is definitely a pretty good sense of flow created by the story, which I feel is one of the better features any game can have.
General Gameplay: I give World of Warriors a 7/10 for its general gameplay. The general gameplay is pretty good and definitely east to get a handle on. Cute animations run smoothly through the screen. Battles are very visual which engage the player in very positive way. There have been some problems with the connectivity though, some of which I experienced after leaving the game up unattended for a period of time, the game has been continuing to throw error code CHO at me, so if you also happen to see similar problems on your game, go on over to their Facebook page and let them know.
Addictiveness: I give the game a 6/10 for its addictiveness. Building an army, collecting players and beating others to prove you are the best makes this game very addictive. Other than Wildstones, everything is rather easy to earn which keep the player interested. But as the game progresses, things become a bit difficult and unfortunately the repetitive tasks you have to go through in order to get through the game makes everything grow boring very quickly.
Overall, I give World of Warriors a 7/10.
