It seems that DeNAhas done it again. They’ve taken a piece of pop culture, turned it into a somewhat mediocre game and attracted a ton of attention. The target this time – Transformers. The game presents itself with an almost chibi style of art and a pretty upbeat soundtrack, gameplay is simplistic yet a strategic mindset is required in order to do well in this game.
One of the biggest differences between the Transformers movies and Transformers Battle Tactics is the fact that when you’re putting your team of bots together, you can pick any of the bots that are available to you, so yes, that means that the Decepticons and Autobots are able to work together, overcoming their mortal enemy status just because you say so. On the other hand, as much as you might want to broker peace between the two, you may be better off creating a team of bots who all belong to the same faction, as doing this will give you a special passive bonus, which can also be obtained with other certain bots when teamed up together.
The method of combat in Transformers Battle Tactics is very intriguing in that your attacks rely heavily on chance. A number on your character bar will be picked at random, the higher the number you get, the better the attack you’re able to pull off. Before you attack the opposing team, you’re able to switch forms if the situation calls for it, occasionally, this will allow you to deal more damage than your ordinary form, however this does depend on which bot you have chosen to attack with. For example, if you are attacking with Optimus Prime, you are better of switching him to truck form as doing so will raise the amount of damage he is able to deal. Although if you leave him in his robot form, all of the other bots on your team will have their attacks raised by a point each.
When building your team of bots in Transformers Battle Tactics, you’ll need plenty of cybermetal and cybercoins. Gold can also be purchased to use on a variety of specials and items and energon will help keep you alive during battle. Saving up cybercoins and cybermetal is a hassle and is very time consuming. The other option is to spend real money on gold, but most players don’t want to do that.
The hack for Transformers Battle Tactics will allow you to add unlimited gold, cybercoins, cybermetal and energon to your account in seconds. The hack tool works for both Android and iOS devices and is up to date with the latest version of TBT. You can download the hack for free here at AppGameCheats.
It’s very easy to use the Transformers Battle Tactics hack tool. Once you have downloaded the tool, it will install itself onto your phone or mobile device. You will then be able to view the options menu which is pictured here.
After the hack is downloaded onto your phone or tablet, you first need to choose what kind of device you’re using to play Transformers Battle Tactics, iOS or Android. Next tap the USB icon to link the hack tool to your device. Now you’re able to type in the amount of cybermetal, cybercoins, and gold you want to add to your account. You can also check the box to add an unlimited supply of energon.
Leave the Guard Protection Script box checked to ensure that your account won’t get banned from using this hack. Tap the “Hack Game” button to begin. The Transformers Battle Tactics hack works quickly and usually takes less than 20 seconds to finish.
When the hack is complete, open your Transformers Battle Tactics app and you will see the cybercoins, cybermetal, gold, and energon have been added to your account. Now you can play the game without ever having to worry about running out of cybermetal and cybercoins or having to spend your money on gold!
You’ll also notice that sometimes, your bots will have access to a special attack that will end up being really useful for your team. Along with this, you will get three points which you can use on the special attacks or ordinary team attacks, something which could really turn the tide of the battle in your favor. If you don’t manage to get a decent attack number on your first random pick, you can reroll for the chance to obtain a higher attack number. This idea is great as sometimes, you’ll end up with a really low number, which also forces you to forfeit making the first move.
With every new turn you take, there are multiple decisions for you to make, are you going to reroll? Is that a decent number? Should you use your three points on special attack this round or not? Choices like this are enough to make or break the battle, the thing with this game is that it’s just luck whether you win or not 70% of the time.
In the game, you’re able to play against both AI bots or via live action matches with other players. Whilst the matching system that hooks you up with other players is still a little iffy, the added challenge and intensity is still insanely fun. Due to the fact that this is such an early version of the game, problems like this are bound to arise.
If you find yourself fighting against a really overpowered player and you lose, you don’t even have to worry about your PvP rating as it’ll either take no damage or the tiniest hit to it, if you manage to take out even just a couple bots from the opposing team, you’ll still make a nice bit of experience from the defeat, so don’t take it to heart if you do end up getting totally owned in these OP battles. On the odd occasion you may also end up getting placed into an AI battle even if you’ve selected a PvP battle, this will just mean that the game was unable to find you a good match, so play the AI battle and hopefully, by the time you’re done, you’ll be matched with someone.
One of the great things about Transformers Battle Tactics is the fact that you can earn pretty much everything through just regular play, so really spending money to get the really good stuff early on in the game isn’t really needed, because you’ll just end up doing a major face palm when you realize that if you’d grinded for just a little longer, you could’ve gotten the thing that you’d just spend actual money on. Sure, the whole energy system that many freemium games employ these days is a total paid and can really hinder your game progress, but if you’re really in the flow of playing the game, it’ll only cost you a few pieces of gold to completely refill your energy bar, which can also be obtained through regular play of the game, so don’t feel too guilty if you have to spend them to keep playing.
I’m not saying this game is perfect by any means, honestly, there is still a lot of stuff that could be done with the game, although I don’t blame it for being a little lax right now, I do hope that a ton of new content is heading our way in the form of a new update. The game had definitely laid some pretty nice groundwork down, what they do with that base is up to them, hopefully, it’s something awesome.
Currently, Transformers Battle Tactics is running version 1.0.5and requires your device to be running at least iOS version 7.0 or later. This version is still a very early version, so you are bound to run into a few bugs, ensure you let the development team via Facebook, Twitter or email, this ensures that they will take note of the issue and hopefully fix the problem within the next update. Currently, the game is only playable in the English language, although more languages may be added in future updates. The game can be downloaded for free from the app store, with the added option of in app purchase, should you choose to do so. The game has a four star rating on the app store at the moment, a rating which may rise or fall with the addition of more content in future updates.
The game has a variety of in app purchases on offer for players to buy if the decide they need to. For a basic pack of one hundred and fifty gold coins, it will cost you $4.99, for the deluxe pack of three hundred and fifty gold coins, it will cost you $9.99, for a special pack of seven hundred and fifty gold coins, it will cost you $19.99, for a superior pack of one thousand six hundred, it will cost you $39.99 and for an elite pack of four thousand five hundred gold coins, it will cost you $99.99. Gold coins can be used to purchase various rare bots, special drop items and can even be used to refill your energy bar if you choose to do so.
So far, it doesn’t look like there are too many working hacks are around for this game, however it is still early days, so I have no doubt that more will be around soon enough as the game starts to gain more popularity. Luckily, I’m here withj a bunch of the best tips and tricks to help you get through the game without too much trouble.
First of all, the best thing you’ll want to do is upgrade at least two of your best bots on your team early on in the game. Don’t go overboard by trying to upgrade all four team members, otherwise, you’llend up with absolutely no money left. Having at least two really good bots on your team from the start will improve your chances of getting through the game without trouble.
Try to recruit as many robots as you possibly can, having a better range of allies to pick from help especially when it comes to fights you can’t seem to win with your regular team of bots, having a back up team is always a good idea when it comes to these kinds of games. Whenever you get the chance to recruit a new bot, do it. Waiting until the time limit has passed is more advisable than spending your gold to speed up the development time. Obtaining bots from all available tiers will give a whole lot more to work with when you’re working on building up your teams.
If you get to the point where you’ve managed to get every available bot in the game, take a little bit of time so that you’re able to check out exactly who you have, their abilities, attack power, etc, this will assist you in picking the best of the bots you have for your teams. If you want to go for the boosts, I would suggest having groups of all decepticons and autobots, or full teams of bots with similar colors is also a good idea.
One of the most important things you’ll encounter in your battle is getting the first strike, sometimes, losing or winning the first strike can be what makes or breaks the entire battle. Getting the first strike automatically puts you ahead in the battle; I definitely noticed that 90% of the time, the side that managed to get the first strike would be the team that ended up winning. Try to place bots that have a high chance of getting the first strike on your team, get that first strike and you’re in there.
As you play the game more, you unlock more special attacks for your bots, take full advantage of the offensive attacks when you’ve unlocked the really good ones, use your ability points in battle and make use of those bad boys, doing so will seriously increase the chance that you have of winning.
Artwork: I give Transformers Battle Tactics a 9/10 for its artwork. I actually really loved the artwork in this game, it really left little to be desired. The way the charcters had been turned into chibis was totally cute and definitey appealed to me – as a person who has never been particularly interested in the world of Transformers, I think that this is a great way of attracting new, non-fans of the franchise. The whole look of the game was really well polished, which is unusual for a new game.
Music and SFX: I give the game an 8/10 for its music and SFX. The sound effects in this really was not the best, although, the music definitely made the game a whole lot more fun to play through. The noticeable beat of the music really added to the whole flow of the game which really helped to get into playing. I feel like they could do a whole lot more with the sound effects in this game, unfortunately, I really don’t see this changing, so I suppose we just have to put up and shut up.
Story and Originality: I give the game a 5/10 for its story and originality. I can’t really say that there’s much of a story to this game, which is actually really disappointing as I think this game has a lot of potential where a plotline and narrative is concerned. On the other hand, where it comes to the originality of the game, there are definitely some original features that I haven’t seen in similar games before. The whole idea of the success of your bots depending on chance and luck is very interesting.
General Gameplay: I give the game a 7/10 for its general gameplay. At first I found the gameplay of Transformers Battle Tactics to be a little complicate and I really had no clue what I was doing, the instructions aren’t all that clear at times, so you kind of have to figure out the game as you go. I encountered a few bugs in battling which made playing the game a little difficult at times but hopefully this is an issue that will be fixed in a future update.
Addictiveness: I give the game a 7/10 for its addictiveness.I can definitely see how a person can get addicted to this game, but honestly, it isn’t really my thing. Playing a Transformers game is hard enough for a non fan, but playing it from start to finish was a grueling task. The energy system interrupts the flow of playing very easily, especially if you don’t have the gold to refill your meter if it hits empty, but I suppose that this is just another way of getting money out of frustrated people trying to play the game. I don’t this is going to go into my keep folder, more like it’ll be deleted in the next five minutes folder.
Overall I give Transformers Battle Tactics 7/10. Let’s see if they’ll do better in the future.
