In-App Purchases

There are a lot of in-app purchases you can make in this game, which means there is a possibility you can spend a lot of money quickly, and without even realizing it. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is one of those games where the players who purchase items are rewarded and it seems like there is quite a bit of persuasion to try to get you to buy certain items, which is not really a good way to go about it. You can purchase a pouch of gems for $1.99, a scoop of gems or scoop of bits for $4.99, a pile of gems or bits for $9.99, and a bucket of gems or a bucket of bits for $14.99. You can also purchase a crate of gems for $14.99 or a mountain of gems for $19.99. As you can see, the prices for the gems and bits in this game seems a little expensive, so if you get any items through the in-app option, you really need to watch how many times you make the order because it adds up fast.

My Little Pony Cheats & Tips

Don’t Click Randomly: One of the main things about this game is that it can lag a bit, especially on the main screen where your city is located. This lag can create a bad situation when it comes to accidentally hitting the gem button and spending gem money you didn’t mean to spend. This is why you should really not click around randomly on the screen, because it’s really easy to use up a gem on a building or shop and not realize it until it’s too late. My Little Pony also will remember the taps that you make in the game, so if you accidentally tap and purchase something with a gem, it will remember that and end up making even more purchases because it remembers what you did previously.

Don’t Remove Obstacles Starting Out: When you first start out playing this game, you might notice there are a lot of obstacles in your way, and this can hinder your ability to setup your shops and buildings correctly. The fact is though, you really should just leave all the obstacles alone for the time being, because during the game, you will get missions and objectives that will ask you to remove obstacles. This means that if you already removed them all at the beginning of the game, you are going to score very low or even fail the mission because there won’t be any obstacles or you to remove. It’s not just one quest that will ask you to remove items, it’s quite a few, and the items don’t count if they were removed before you got the quest.

Keep Experienced Ponies Moving Around: When you get a pony in the game, they will not have any stars, which limits the amount of work they can do or the shops they can work in. When you have your city all setup, you need to make sure you know which shops have a position that a pony without stars can do, and that means you need to move your experienced ponies around to keep those positions open. You will get the hang of this once you play for a while, but the basis of this theory is to keep the ponies rotating around so that if you have a shop that has 4 ponies, you always rotate one out and place them in a shop that requires experience, which then allows you to put the no experience pony in that spot.

My Little Pony Review

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is based on the television series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and it plays out in an alternate-universe where the villain Nightmare Moon has destroyed Ponyville by putting it into eternal darkness. It’s the job of Twilight Sparkle to stop Nightmare Moon and return Ponyville into a sunny and positive environment, and you will have to start bringing back the ponies to repopulate the desolate town.

When you start playing this game, you will notice that you have this huge chunk of land and the tutorial will tell you that you need to start putting windmills and buildings on it so that you can start repopulating your city. You can start getting your buildings lined up and you can purchase the quick build option, which means you don’t have to wait 1 minute or whatever the length of time is for that building to be completely finished. You will also take notice right away of the voice acting done with the pony characters, which is something that really isn’t out there much in the animated apps. You will also find your first quests, which is one of several quests and missions you will get in this game. A lot of the quests are fun and easy, such as harvesting fruit for a pie, but can also become more complex when it gets closer time to hunting down Nightmare Moon and locate the Elements of Harmony.

You need to collect six different ponies in this game, which are Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Each of these ponies has different jobs to do, you have to build the buildings and shops that the ponies will work in, and the buildings along with the ponies are how you earn in-game currency. The buildings and shops will begin producing coins at a regular interval, those coins can be used to purchase the other ponies or to purchase various shops. What you will notice is that each of the ponies have a rating system and that dictates what jobs the ponies can get. The only bad part about this is that each pony goes up to level 5, once that pony is leveled to 5, you cannot level up anymore or even use the pony anymore.

As far as finding the Elements of Harmony goes, you have to find six different harmony stones, which are all around the city and you can find them by using the map. You need to bring the harmony stone back to Ponyville along with that particular pony in order to use the Elements of Harmony. The Elements of Harmony is what you will need when it comes time to fight Nightmare Moon, so you have to do this mission and get all of the elements in order to win the battle at the end.

As you progress through the game, you will complete missions and objectives that are all pretty fun and entertaining, plus you have three different mini-games that you can do as well. The mini-games aren’t something you can choose, it will just automatically give you one of the three, so that is something that is a little insane because you should be able to choose which game you want to play. You will also need to tap on the various shops and buildings while you go through the missions and quests, which is basically you collecting the coins you have earned from those buildings. A lot of this game is playing the missions and then waiting and waiting until the timers go off so you can collect the coins from your stores.

my-little-pony-cheats-hack-4

Overall this is an okay game, since it’s only based on the first two episodes of the television series it kind of makes it dull with not a lot as far as exciting or entertaining plots and story twists. It’s basically what you would expect out of a child’s My Little Pony game, but maybe a little bit worse just because it’s fairly boring and you do the same things over and over again until you finally meet Nightmare Moon. You will find yourself getting bored and becoming frustrated because once the ponies level to 5 you can’t use them anymore, so it’s like you are being punished for leveling up and playing with a real intent in mind. When it comes down to it, while it can be fun, this game is just lacking in story and excitement, plus the mini-games get old and the city building can only take the game so far without anything else.

Ratings

Gameplay: As mentioned, you play mini-games throughout this game, which helps you level up your ponies, but once they are level 5 you can’t play with them anymore. This is a horrible idea because you are being punished for leveling up your animals, which is often the main point in a game. It feels like you are being punished for being successful, which is not a good idea for any game and it’s bad to have to tell your kids being successful gets you punished. There are also times where there is a lag when you are in the middle of a quest, which can hinder your ability to collect the apples, so it’s just overall simple with a lot of silly mistakes. Gameplay gets a 5/10 because while it can be fun, there are so many little things that knock this game down quite a bit.

Music: When you play this game, you might or might not enjoy it, due to a lot of it being the My Little Pony jingles and music from the television show. The songs are happy and cheery and you will hear a lot of the same voices that you hear on television when you hear the ponies talk. Some people might not enjoy the sounds and music from this game, while children or adults who like nostalgia really might. It’s fun if you just take it for what it is and not take it too seriously, but the music can get annoying after a while and you might want to turn it off, so it gets a 6/10 overall.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are kind of simple but it goes with the flow of the television show and other My Little Pony animated films. It’s pretty authentic 3D depictions of the ponies in their habitat and it shows a lot of range with the buildings and various environments you will find yourself in during this game. Some parts are a little fuzzy and doesn’t seem to show up quite as clear as you would like and also sometimes you have to zoom in so that you can see your pony up close. There are a lot of different ponies from the Friendship is Magic television show, which is cool if you are familiar with those characters, and it stays true to form on appearance with their details and colors/features. Overall it’s pretty impressive for the simple animation, also the range of colors that are used for the ponies and activities is very warm and inviting, so it’s easily a 7/10 on graphics.

Overall: The overall rating for this game is a little bit more of an opinion than some other games, because if you liked the My Little Pony show, then you will really enjoy this game. There are a few things that knock this game down on the ratings though, such as the fact it seems to be more of a pay-to-play game even though it’s free, because it’s hard to really get the full might of this game without purchasing the various items with real money. There are a lot of places where you will find yourself not being able to play certain things unless you pay, while other times it seems people who pay get more of an opportunity and advantage. The game does follow the storyline of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic pretty well and the graphics are good but yet simple. It’s a game you will have fun with, especially near the end where you battle Nightmare Moon, so it gets a 6/10 overall.
