Imagine being the mayor of a poor Kingdom and it is your mission to flourish its economy and become one of the wealthiest and most powerful Kingdoms ever. That is exactly what Maritime Kingdom is all about. Harvest resources, construct buildings and set up trade routes over the ocean and save your kingdom from its downfall. Maritime Kingdom has been developed and successfully released by game developed Game Insight and is pretty popular among mobile gamers. The game has been downloaded over five hundred thousand with a great rating of 4.2 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store.
The gameplay in Maritime Kingdom starts with an introduction video, showing you what the gameplay is all about. When the video ends, you will start with a tutorial, which also includes a cut scene. In this cut scene, the port of a Kingdom gets attacked by pirates and you are just in time to take down the evil pirate ship. After you have done that, the Princess tells you that you should become the mayor of said Kingdom, so that you can help it flourish and make it one of the most powerful Kingdoms in the world. The goal of Maritime Kingdom is to construct buildings and train troops so that you can take down the rebellion which is happening in the main Kingdom of the game.
The first and far most important action you can take in Maritime Kingdom is to collect resources. There are a ton of resources, which you will all need when you are constructing buildings for your Kingdom. Perhaps the most important resource is Food. You will need food in order to be able to expand your Kingdom and have more citizen working for you. You will also need a lot of food in order to be able to train troops. Any action that you take in Maritime Kingdom requires food as well. This means that you will need to harvest food or have food in storage if you want to cut down trees for wood, for example.
The other resources in Maritime Kingdom are Wood, Stone, Steel, Coal, Lumber, Cloth, Cotton, Marble and Gems. You will need these resources in order to be able to construct different kinds of buildings and specialties. Completing actions and constructing buildings will reward you with experience points and either food or another kind of resource. The experience points which you collect will be added up and you will level up once you have enough of them.
Leveling up will reward you with gold coins, recourses and most importantly, it will unlock other buildings in the game. This will allow you to expand your kingdom even more. At some point, you will run out of land to construct buildings on. A nice feature in Maritime Kingdom is that you can purchase neighboring plots of land, which you can construct more buildings on.
Different kinds of buildings help you with different kind of actions within the game. For example, you can construct huts where your citizen can live in. Huts will generate an income over several minutes and you will be able to upgrade the huts to earn even more. Most buildings in Maritime Kingdom work just like this.
Constructing buildings and other actions in Maritime Kingdom takes time, ranging from a few minutes to a few hours. You can speed things along by using the premium currency, so that you do not have to wait as long and you can keep progress your Kingdom in a faster pace. You have five different categories of buildings which you can construct in Maritime Kingdom. You have the Residential, Industrial, Military, Decorations and Fleet categories, all of whom have buildings and ships, which you need to construct and lead a successful Kingdom.

There are two kinds of currencies in Maritime Kingdom. The first one is in the form of gold coins and are easily obtainable by simply playing the game. You can collect gold coins from your buildings as tax, by clearing rocks and plants from your lands etc. The second currency is in the form of premium crystals, which are almost impossible to obtain by playing the game. Premium crystals can come in very handy because you can use them for a wide variety of things.
There are certain buildings which are only purchasable and constructible by paying up a heft amount of crystals first. Perhaps the most important thing you can do with crystals is the fact that you can speed up actions, which means that you do not have to wait so long anymore. For example, some actions take ten minutes, two hours or even longer and by using crystals, you can almost instantly complete these actions. The longer the action takes, the more crystals you will need.
You can purchase both the gold coins and the premium crystals with real money in the in-game store. The price for gold coins starts at $1,99 for the smallest amount of 1000 gold coins and goes up till $99,99 for the largest amount of 56.250 gold coins. The price for premium crystals starts at $1,99 for the smallest amount of 200 crystals and goes up till $99,99 for the largest amount of 11.800 crystals. As far as I can tell, there is no way to get premium crystals for free, other than by being lucky and receiving them when you level up.
If you are currently playing Maritime Kingdom, then you probably have figured out that gold and crystals are needed in the game to purchase items you will need to progress through the game. You are able to get the gold and crystals through the app store, but this costs real money, and this can get really expensive. Due to the popularity of the game, we have decided to add a hack for Maritime Kingdom, which gives you unlimited gold and crystals.
Check out the image below to see how the Maritime Kingdom hack tool works, with the options menu being where you enter the amounts of crystals and gold that you want to add.
First, download our free Maritime Kingdom hack tool from our website, which takes around 20 seconds. You will see that it automatically installs afterward, which also takes around 20 seconds. Then, select either iOS or Android, and you can input the amounts of gold and crystals that you want to add to your account.
Lastly, press “Start” to begin the Maritime Kingdom hack tool, which takes less than 40 seconds to finish. You will then be able to open up the game on your device as normal, and you will see the gold and crystals have been added to your account. By using our free Maritime Kingdom hack, you can get all the items you need without spending a penny in the app store.
Like I have stated above, Maritime Kingdom does not require an internet connection to be played. This means that the time lapse cheat could perhaps work with this game. The time lapse cheat entails that you forward the time on your device, in order to trick the game into believing that a certain amount of time has already passed. This can come in handy when you are taking actions in Maritime Kingdom, which take several hours or even whole days.
All you have to do is, start said actions, close your game completely and forward the time of your device by several hours to complete days. After that, you can start Maritime Kingdom again and see that the actions you have started, are already completed. You can complete the resources and take your rewards, after which you should close down the game again and not forget to set the time on your device back to its original state. The time lapse cheat might not work with Maritime Kingdom, so it is not guaranteed that you will be able to complete actions instantly.
Premium crystals are very hard to obtain by playing the game, which means that you should always save them up, whenever you receive them. At the beginning of the gameplay, you will have to go through a tutorial, which tries to make you spend some of your crystals in order to speed up certain actions. However, you should not follow what the tutorial tells you to do and save up your crystals, because these actions are not worth to be sped up. After you have saved up enough crystals, you can purchase special buildings or speed up actions that take way longer than the actions during the tutorial.
Before I started playing Maritime Kingdom, I could already imagine what it would be about. Game developer Game Insight has already released other types of city building games, which are pretty similar to Maritime Kingdom. The gameplay started off with a nicely build tutorial, telling you the story behind the game and teaching you how to properly play the game. I really liked the fact that the tutorial really teaches you a lot about the different features of Maritime Kingdom. There are many casual mobile gamers who try out different kinds of games, and I could imagine them becoming confused by the sheer amount of features in this game. Maritime Kingdom has pretty decent graphics and soundtracks implemented in it, making the gameplay enjoyable and entertaining. Another very positive aspect about this game is the fact that there are a lot of things to do. There is also a very nice quest line, which you can follow to progress faster within the game.
Unfortunately, there are several negative aspects about Maritime Kingdom. For instance, there are pop-up advertisements that tend to show up, exactly at the moment when you are supposed to tap on the screen. This makes it feel like the developers are trying to trick people into tapping on the advertisements, so that they can generate an income for themselves. It is very understandable when developers of free-to-play games decide to implement advertisements into their games, but they should make it as less obstructive and annoying as possible. The worst part about the pop-up advertisements in Maritime Kingdom is the fact that when you accidently do tap on them, your game will minimalize and your browser will open up.
The second negative aspect in Maritime Kingdom is the fact that completing actions take a lot of time, even whole days. This really slows down the gameplay and can be very annoying. You can speed up actions by using premium currencies, but obtaining premium crystals for free is almost impossible. This leads me to believe that the developers simply want to make the players purchase crystals by spending real money. The problem is, that not every player want to spend money or can afford to spend money on a free-to-play game. The developers are punishing everyone who simply enjoys playing Maritime Kingdom. I believe that the developers should look into implementing reward systems, which will help loyal players with premium crystals and other things within the game, giving them a boost and make them keep playing the game.
Artwork: I give Maritime Kingdom an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics in Maritime Kingdom are very nice, but the thing I like the most about the artwork is the fact that there are many animations implemented into the gameplay. The animations are in the form of people walking around in your Kingdom, special effects when you complete actions and many more. I really like the fact that the people walk around in your city because it makes the game feel more alive. The user interface is clear, even though a lot of things are happening on the screen at the same time, which is very nice.
Music & SFX: I give Maritime Kingdom a 7/10 for its music and SFX. The gameplay has several soundtracks and sound effects implemented in them, which makes the game more enjoyable to play. The quality of both the music and SFX are decent, but I would have expected a bit more than there was right now. If you play the game for an hour straight, you will get bored by the same music playing over and over again. The sound effects are nice but there are too few of them. I believe that the developers should spend a little bit more time on the music and SFX of Maritime Kingdom so that the gameplay is more enjoyable and entertaining.
Story & Originality: I give Maritime Kingdom a 5/10 for its story and originality. There are a lot of city building games, very similar to Maritime Kingdom. Game developer Game Insight even has different games that have basically the same city building game mechanics. This means that the idea simply gets rehashed, over and over again, making the game very unoriginal. There is a story at the beginning of the gameplay, which makes me give it at least a few points for the story but other than that, it feels like I have played similar games many times before.
General Gameplay: I give Maritime Kingdom a 7/10 for general gameplay. At the beginning of Maritime Kingdom, there is a nicely build tutorial which teaches you the basics about the game. It will help you get the hang of the gameplay and after the tutorial ends, you will feel like you will be fine, playing the game on your own. After the tutorial ends, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but still entertaining to play due to the amount of features which are implemented into the game. What I really liked about the gameplay of Maritime Kingdom is that you could zoom in and out of the world map, expand your kingdom and even look at a world map to check out how your Kingdom is standing next to other Kingdoms. The controls are very smooth and responsive, making the game easy to play.
Addictiveness: I give Maritime Kingdom a 7/10 for addictiveness. I could imagine Maritime Kingdom being very addictive to players who enjoy city building and simulation games, but unfortunately this was not so much the case with me. This is due to the fact that the developers have implemented a timer system, which basically means that you have to wait a certain amount of time, in order to complete an action. While this is not such a big deal on its own, the fact that certain actions takes hours or even whole days to complete, is a turn off for me. Of course, you can use premium crystals to speed up your actions, but not everyone wants to spend real money on a free-to-play game such as Maritime Kingdom.
All things considered, I give Maritime Kingdom a 7/10.
