You have campaign mode, arena mode, crusade mode, trials mode, time rift mode, and a booty cave. The campaign mode is the single-player mode, which allows you to fight off enemies that are divided up into various chapters. The arena mode in the player-vs-player mode, but this is not a real-time player-vs-player mode. You have a single-player and player-vs-player crusade mode, which combines the two modes where you engage in up to 15 different battles. The trials mode is a single player mode where you are fighting against the computer system, with three different situations you can put yourself in. The time rift is a single player mode where you fight against the computer system enemies, and you can loot various items and potions. The booty cave is a player-vs-player mode where you can go through the caves of other players , get allies to defend your items, and join up with the guilds.

As you go through this game, you will notice that you have two currencies in this game, including gold and gems. You can use the gold and the gems to get upgrades and equipment, with gold being the one that usually upgrades skills. The gems are premium, which means they are hard to come by unless you purchase them with real money. Since you can basically use both of the currencies to get everything you need, there really isn’t a need to purchase the in-app items, but you will have to wait a long time though to earn the amounts that a lot of the upgraded items require without it. If you compare Heroes Charge with other similar games, you will find out that this game is a lot better at giving out the gems for free, which is why you can sneak by without needing to purchase the gems using the in-app purchasing option.

As you progress through the game, you will find out that the challenges and missions get harder, and this means you will need to use more strategy later in the levels. Gameplay gets about a 7.5/10 because it’s relatively the same as other games out there, with no new challenges or ways to attack during battles. You will find the gameplay to be simple and that can be a good thing if you are new to this genre, but it can get boring if you are looking for something more intense and thought provoking. You will need to use some strategy in this game, so it’s not like you don’t have to think while you play this game, but it isn’t quite as heavy as you might expect it to be.

Music: The music in this game is pretty fun and entertaining, making it about an 8/10 overall, because it helps you concentrate on the tasks ahead. You will find the music to be fun during the arena mode, but it’s also not too loud that it becomes distracting. You will have a lot of special effects and sounds during combat and different parts of the game, so it is nice but you don’t need the sound on to have a good time.

Graphics: Graphically, this game is pretty and really enjoyable, although when you are in battle, you will find yourself in a 2D-side-view. The graphics in this game are about a 7/10 because they are clear and crisp, but it’s not really that intense like 3D games are. The details in the characters are the best part of this game because they all have expressions and various skills that are important during combat. It is not overly impressive as far as the battle scenes, but it’s what you would expect out of an RPG type of arena game.

Overall: You will find this game to be entertaining if you enjoy action RPG multiplayer online battle arena games, but it does get a little boring after a while. With the automatic battles, it’s harder to keep yourself engaged in battle since all you have to do is tap for the specialized attacks. You will though enjoy the strategy involved in the game if you like something that does rely on skills, but also is a game you can still put down when you want to. The best part about this game is collecting the different heroes and finding the rare heroes, because collecting them helps provide variety in the battles and groups you make. Overall this game gets a 7.5/10 because it’s enjoyable and there is such variety in the game modes you can choose from that it will keep you busy for hours on end.
