Summoners War Hack for Crystals, Glory Points & Mana Stones

Summoners War is brought to us by Playdek, a games development company known its iOS tabletop style games. Summoners War is a collectible card game mixed in with a little bit of strategy. If you’ve played Mojang’s exceedingly popular scrolls, you’ll notice a lot of similarities between the two games.

In the game, you can play as one of eight different factions, with more promised in future updates. Depending on which faction you choose to play as, you’ll have an entirely different experience every time. Since each faction differs from the others, in terms of style, tactics and special moves, each battle will be different from the previous, meaning that the replayability of this game is pretty huge.

First up, you should probably take note of the fact that each monster within the game is associated with a specific element and each element can be strong against one type and weak against another, think Pokemon in this. In Summoners War there are five different element types; wind, fire, water, light and dark, fire is weak against water, wind is weak against fire, water is weak against wind and light and dark are weak against each other. Consider the type of monster you’ll be fighting when selecting which monster you plan to fight as, this way, you’ll give yourself an automatic advantage.

When you’re actually in battle, you should focus your attacks on one monster at a time, this way you aren’t taking damage from all of the monsters on the field constantly throughout the battle. By taking on one monster at a time, you are instead thinning the ranks and making your survival more likely. Having your monsters attack one at a time will provide you with a much easier battle experience. Don’t let any of our monsters try to be heroes by attacking untouched characters unless you know for a fact that it can one shot kill the opposing monster.

Your toughest battles will come in the form of boss fights. Remember the first thing to do in these fights is to check their elemental association, this will give you a good idea of what type of monsters to use on your side, in these fights, taking advantage of an elemental weakness is the best thing you can really do as you have to take advantage of everything available to you in these battles. Use your strongest abilities and strongest monsters to take out these guys. Use your special abilities at the very beginning of the battle as the faster you can get the health down, the better.
If you’re the type to farm from battle rewards, there is an entire treasure trove just waiting to be discovered by you in the arena battles.

Depending on your personal rank, which will be assigned to you as you work your way through fights, the number of crystals received as a reward will vary. I’d still advise you to start off small with the less difficult monster parties that you’ll find in the area, slowly easing yourself into the ways of the arena will help you adjust to the way the arena works as well and slowly work your way up to the top. To figure out how difficult a boss fight is, check out the number of swords that the monster has, the more swords, the more difficult the battle, the fewer swords, the easier the battle. Completing more and more battles will give you a higher ranking, gaining a high ranking will mean that you will end up getting a lot from battle rewards. The best thing you can do for yourself is to just keep on competing in the arena for the experience points and arena points, these will not only beef up your rankings, it’ll also help make your own monsters a whole lot stronger, it will also give you a great chance to figure out your own personal strategy that you’re comfortable using regularly.

Both the monster Angelmon and the monster Devilmon have material type association; these monster can be incredibly useful, especially when you take a look at what they can do for you. Devilmon can be located in the cave and glory store and Angelmon can be found in the Angel Garden, the can alsobe found in special elemental dungeons too. Use of a Devilmon will boost any of you other monsters attribution skills, something that can seriously come in handy if you find yourself not quite being able to beat that one super annoying boss fight. Use of an Angelmon can reward any of your used monsters with bonus experience points, it’s probably best not to make a habit out of using Angelmon with similarly typed monsters. Using Rainbow Angelmon is good in this respect thiugh as it will bind well with any monster of your choice.

Summoners War Review

The mechanics of the deck building in Summoners War works pretty nicely; in each deck you’ll have three champions and eighteen common card slots. You aren’t able to pick specifically what event cards you want in your deck, nor are you able to select the number you want, the fact that it is done randomly really makes the game that bit more interesting. The random pick of cards ensures that the battle is fair and that the winner of said battle wins through use of strategy and good tactics, with the use of what they are given, that way, neither side is given an unfair advantage.
The AI system in the game is actually fairly decent, although the multiplayer system in the game is where it really looks good. At the same time, it’s also where one of the biggest flaws of the game is made evident. Summoners War completely lacks a chat feature, this sucks because a lot of newer games are including chat features in their multiplayer mode, whilst competitiveness is always a fun thing to have in a game, and it’s always fun to chat to your opponent too. Games are becoming more and more social these days, so the fact that this was missed out seriously sets the game back in comparison to others.

In terms of other flaws in Summoners War, I can understand that they wanted to make the game cross platform compatible, thus appealing to a wider audience, but I feel like this game should have been an iPad exclusive game, as playing on smaller iPod and iPhone screens really does not do the game justice. I attempted to play the game on my iPod and got severely slaughtered several times before I gave up and switched back to my iPad. Playing on small screens is especially hard considering that the game doesn’t automatically track where the action is happening in the game, so if you’re off looking at something else, zoomed in because you can’t see anything otherwise, your troops will end up getting murdered and you won’t even notice until you zoom out and you’re like “Uh, where did my guys go?”.

Sadly, Summoners War is yet another game that requires an internet connection to play, soyou won’t have any luck with this game if you want to run through a quick match while you wait for the bus or something.

Regardless of these flaws, if you can get past the lack of socialization and the need to be willing to invest a little in the game whilst playing it on the right device, the game can actually be incredibly fun. Summoners War is definitely a must have for those gamers who want a little more tactical strategy and customization in their mobile collectible card games.

Ratings

Artwork: I give Summoners War a 7/10 for its artwork. At first glane, from the opening screen, you are left thinking that the game looks awesome before you’ve even started playing, the characters are nicely designed and there is a lot of smoothness and color to everything else. Upon actually starting the game, you quickly learn that the artwork in the actual gaming part of, even if the game is played on an iPad and hasn’t been zoomed in at all, you’ve still got some pretty pixelated artwork in the middle of this supposedly awesome game. I feel like there was more effort put into making the open screen look good while almost no effort was put into the art of the game. Sure it’s colorful and if you squint, you can’t quite see the flaws, but when your eyes are fully open, you see the game in its true half assed nature.

Music and SFX: I give the game an 8/10 for its music and SFX. I actually really liked the music that was used in this game, it reminded me a whole lot of the music you would expect to hear in Square Enix’s earlier Final Fantasy games, it fits into the nature of the game incredibly well and really provides the game with a nice sense of flow that a lot of collectible card games can lack a lot of the time. The sound effects are also nicely done, whilst they’re pretty much stereotypical battle sounds, they are subtle and in no way over the top, they provide the game with that little extra atmospheric ambience that really contributes to the game as a whole.

Story and Originality: I give the game a 7/10 for its story and originality. Surprisingly enough for a collectible card game, this one actually comes with a little bit of a story, whilst the game itself takes a lot of inspiration from games like Magic and Hearthstone, so not entirely original itself, but the fact that it has a story to it, provides it with much needed structure and a reason to even play that is so lacking in a lot of other collectible card games. I can appreciate that it has taken elements from other popular games, added its own little twist it and really made the genre its own. If there one thing I can appreciate in a game, it’s the idea that it has added something brand new to the market, leaving something for other developers to build and develop on themselves.

Gameplay: I give Summoners War a 6/10 for its general gameplay. Whilst starting up this game for the first time, I didn’t so much have issues with bugs or anything, I had problem actually accessing the game. Upon your first startup, the game will require a game update which it sits there and does for about twenty minutes (at least that was my experience), once that’s done, you are forced to go through a tutorial, there is no option to skip the tutorial or anything, sure it’s great for those that don’t really understand how to play this kind of game, but for those who have played before and know what they’re doing, the tutorial period can grow tedious and annoying quite quickly, it is not a particularly short tutorial unless you skip through all of the dialogue. With these things in mind, you aren’t really left with that much of a desire to really enjoy playing the game.

Addictiveness: I give the game a 5/10 for its addictiveness. I have to say that with all the content available in the game, you’d imagine that you wouldn’t really end up bored with the game, at least not for quite some time, sadly this is not the case and you find yourself quickly losing interest. This is one of the reason I found it difficult to really get into the game, the combination of the IAP feeling forced on me and the lackluster graphics really ruined the game for me.

Overall, I rate Summoners War 6/10. Could be better, I hope to see improvement in the future.
