Remove Obstructions ASAP: In Juice Jam, you will find out that some levels have empty cake tins in the game, and there is no reason these tins need to be there, except to mess you up. You need to match fruits right next to the cake tin to get it to go away, and then you will find more fruit coming down. Sometimes these tins are all over the place, and you have to get rid of them as soon as possible, because all it does is obstruct the fruit from flowing in. If you wait to clear them off, then you won’t be able to match all of your fruit in time before the move counter runs out.

Try To Get Leftover Moves: If you end up completing the level with moves left over, these moves will turn into free Blasters on the next level. These Blasters will not only improve your score, but it will also help you clear the board on the next level. Not all levels will allow you to clear the board with moves left over, but try to clear it with as many moves left as you can so you get the Blasters for next time.

Ignore Bees Unless You Need Honey: You will find out that in the higher levels, you will have bees, which you can combine to make honey panels, and that is served to customers. However, you don’t need to even move the bees unless the customers want honey, because it would just be a waste of moves. You don’t want to move the bees and then end up with not enough moves to move fruits to complete your orders. Unless you see an order where you need the honey, just leave them alone and continue on with your matching because the bees won’t hurt anything being on the board.

Don’t Move Too Fast: In Juice Jam, one thing that is really nice is that there is no limit on your time, only your moves. Since there is no time limit on this game, feel free to continue with the level for as long as you need to in order to make the best moves you can. Since the moves are the most important, especially in the higher levels, you might need to take some time to think and plan your strategy. One really cool thing is that this game gives you all the time you need, so take it, and don’t move too fast and end up messing your board up.

Review of Juice Jam

When you first load up Juice Jam, you will be given instructions on how the game works, which will help you get the hang of the game within minutes. The premise of this game is that you have to match three fruits with the same color in a row to create drinks for your customers. You have orders that you have to complete, which are drinks the customers want, and each level has specific challenges with it. For example, in one level you might have 5 customer orders that you need to fill, and you only have do many moves to get all of these orders done. There will be a move counter on the left hand side of the screen, with the ticket box on the right showing you how many customers you have waiting. You also will see the orders at the top of the screen with the amount of fruits you need to complete the order, such as 2 blueberries and 3 bananas. Each level will have the objectives that you have to meet in order to move forward in the game. You can match two power ups to get an explosive result, match four fruits to make a square, which makes a rocket. The rocket will turn that color into a blaster, and you can match blasters to take out a row. If you match four horizontally then you can get the column blaster, which takes out all of the fruits in that column.

This game has great graphics, animations, and the music is even tolerable, with similarities to other match three games out there. If you have ever played Candy Crush Saga or Soda, then you will quickly understand the concept of this game, and likely be good at it too if you are good at Candy Crush. Even the level board looks similar to that of Candy Crush, so it’s nothing to unusual or unique, the only difference being this is fruit and you have customers you need to make drinks for. The higher you go up in levels, the more difficult the game will get, and sometimes you might get stuck on a level for a long time. You will also have to create popsicles for penguins and feed a huge cat his favorite fruits, so there is a little variety in the tasks and objectives you will have as the game moves forward. You will really want to make some of the boosts when you get into the higher levels, because much like Candy Crush, the boosts will help you when you can’t get the objectives done in the moves allotted.

Overall, this is one of those really fun and addicting puzzle games, where you don’t need to purchase coins to move along the levels. In games like this, the developer wants you to get frustrated with being stuck on a level so that you will buy coins, which then can be used to buy the boosts and help you progress through the tough level. If you stick it out though, you can move through just fine without the need to purchase anything with real money, it just requires patience. The graphics and animations in this game really are cute and fun, with nothing violent or obscene, so it’s a game people of all ages can play and enjoy. If you are bored with Candy Crush and you want a new similar game to try, this would be a great choice.

You will also go in the juice truck and explore new lands to serve customers, so it’s very detailed and full of imagination and colors from all over. The gameplay is simple so that children and adults will be able to get the hang of the game within minutes, and it doesn’t take much thought until the higher levels.

Graphics: The graphics in this game get a 9/10 because it’s very fun and there are a lot of animations going on in the game. While nothing is too graphically intense, it’s just really nice and everything is crisp and clear. You will be able to see all the fruits easily, with the honey and the bees also very nice looking, and everything is just so detailed and colorful. This is a game that has a lot of variety in terms of colors and moves, so nothing gets boring graphically.

Music: The music in this game is very positive and upbeat, with a lot of whimsical themes and sounds, so it is easily an 8/10. You don’t need the music on to play this game, but having it on will not hinder your ability to think or to play this game at all. You don’t even need headphones with this game because the music is not loud or annoying, and it’s pretty positive music to keep you going.

Overall: Overall, Juice Jam gets a 9/10 because if you are a fan of puzzle games, you will love this game because you are matching fruits to help make smoothies. The moves counter really helps add another level of depth and difficulty to this game, but it’s not that hard that you would throw the device out the window. You will enjoy making the drinks and finding new combinations and new ways to move up in levels. This game is bright and colorful with great music to keep you wanting to play, and there is no need to use real money to move up levels as long as you have patience to keep trying. The whimsical worlds and music you experience in this game are similar to Candy Crush, but this game provides a little more engagement in the world around you, and it’s overall a really nice experience.
