Cooking Dash Cheat for Coins, Crystals & Locations Plus Tips & Review

Did you ever feel like wanting to run a restaurant and earn a lot of money? If you like time management games, you will like Cooking Dash. This game is all about running your own restaurant after your chef leaves, cooking delicious meals for your customers and upgrading your kitchen and restaurant, turning it in the best restaurant on the block! Cooking Dash is very popular among mobile gamers, developed and successfully released by game developer Glu. It has been downloaded over five million times with a rating of 4.0 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4 star rating on iOS App Store.

When you start the game for the first time, you will see the story behind Cooking Dash which goes as following. Your chef gets offered a job at a reality TV show and while he does not want to leave you, Flo (the owned) of the restaurant sends him away. After that you play as Flo the waitress and your grandmother is the cook.

Your goal in Cooking Dash is to run a successful restaurant. You do this by making decisions quickly and focusing on the game. First thing that you need to do is seat your customers. Once they are seated, they will think about what they want to order. After they have made their decision, you will see a thought bubble showing the food they want. After that you need to prepare the food they want and serve it to them. They will eat their food and once they are finished, you can pick up the check and clean up the dishes. After that you can put new customers on their seats and do the same thing over again.

In Cooking Dash, every level has its own goal. You need to get a certain amount of points in order to complete the level. The more points you earn, the better. Achieving the minimum amount of points will get you one star, but you can go all the way to expert and finish with three stars. The higher you score in Cooking Dash, the more money you will earn. You can use money to buy new kitchen appliances, upgrade the appliances you already own and even upgrade Flo and her grandmother. You cannot buy in-game money for real money so you will have to grind levels if you want to be able to pay for upgrades.

Cooking Dash In-game store

From what I can tell, there is no way to purchase in-game cash for real money in Cooking Dash. There are also no boosters or power-ups which you can use in the game. There is however and upgrade available for the game where you can unlock fifty new levels, five new restaurants and new customers and challenges for $3,99. Other than the upgrade purchase, there is no in-game store or anything where you can spend real money on to gain an advantage in the game.

AppGameCheats Cooking Dash Cheats & Tips

I searched on Google for cheats for Cooking Dash and there were dozens of websites that offered some form of cheats for this game. These cheats allegedly would unlock the whole game for you and give you unlimited cash so you could upgrade all of your kitchen appliances. For the sake of this review, I downloaded one of these cheat tools. Before I could start downloading the cheat tool, I had to fill in a survey. This is how those fake cheat websites trick people, because filling in surveys will generate an income for the website itself. After I had filled in a survey, my download started but it downloaded very slowly. I scanned the cheat tool with a virus scanner because I did not want to get infected by a nasty virus, and after it was cleared, I opened the program.

The cheat tool looks like it’s an actual program and asked me to connect my mobile device with my computer by USB cable. After I had done that, the cheat tool was supposed to detect my device, but as you can guess, this never happened. Most of these so called cheat tools are fake and can even contain viruses that can seriously damage your computer so beware of downloading such programs. Instead of looking for cheats for Cooking Dash, the following tips and tricks will help you out in your gameplay.

Cooking Dash Gameplay Tips

You should not forget that Flo (the server you play as) can carry two items at the same time, so when the restaurant is starting to get busy, you can easily carry a sandwich and a hamburger at the same time for example. You can also pick up the checks even if the hands of Flo are full. It is important that you are able to multitask in Cooking Dash because you will keep your customers happier and you will earn more money. You can tell how satisfied your customers are by the hearts above their heads. Once you see that the hearts are becoming less, you will know that you have to be faster. If you serve your customers well, you will see a Very Happy which means you will get a great tip of $100 in-game cash.

You have a few seats in your restaurant which all have different colors and your customers also wear different colored clothes. If you manage to match the seat color with the color of a customer’s clothing, you will receive a bonus. If you managed to do it more than once, your bonus will multiply, so be on the looking for matching colors.

Sometimes customers can order more than one thing at a time (such as chicken and fries). You need to cook those items separately but when they are finished, you can pick them up and the two things will merge onto one plate. This means that your other hand will be free to carry something else for another customer. When you are in a hurry, it is easy to spot which customer ordered what, because their thought balloon will turn green. This means that the items in your hand will go to that particular customer.

If you keep customers happy, they will order desert after their meal. Customers who order desert will earn you an extra $100 in-game money. This is a good way to save up some money for future upgrades to your kitchen or characters.

Cooking Dash Review

While the game itself is pretty simplistic, the gameplay and graphics actually fit pretty well together. That is the first thing I have noticed about Cooking Dash. The second thing I noticed about Cooking Dash is that the sound effects also fit the whole artwork, so everything together works pretty well. Before you start playing, there is a nice little picture slideshow which tells the players about the backstory of the game, which is always nice because then it feels more like you know what your goals are in the game and why you are supposed to achieve them.

You start in Cooking Dash with a small tutorial, which teaches you the basics of the gameplay itself. It shows you how to seat customers, cook food and serve them. After that it shows you how to pick up the checks and bring the dishes away. What is nice about Cooking Dash is that every character in the game has an idle movement, which makes the environment feel livelier. After completing a level or two, the tutorial will also show you how to buy new and upgrade existing kitchen appliances. After this it’s all rinse and repeat.

Unfortunately there are also a few negative aspects about Cooking Dash. For starters, there are too many advertisements around the game. There are banners, pop-ups and even sometimes an advertisement will show up before or after a level. I can understand that free-to-play games need to generate an income for the developers, but they should try to keep the advertisements to a minimum, or at least try to make them as less obstructive as possible.

Cooking Dash is free-to-play but the developers locked up certain levels and restaurants and you need to pay $3,99 to unlock them. Of course I agree that the developers also need to earn money, but $3,99 seems a bit too steep for a game such as Cooking Dash. I think the developers should put down the price a little bit.

Cooking Dash Ratings

Artwork: I give Cooking Dash a 7/10 for its artwork. The graphics in Cooking Dash is pretty basic but it fits the whole theme of the game. You don’t need amazing 3D graphics to make a game great. The artwork and animations are cartoonish, sort of like some cartoon on Nickelodeon. The characters are drawn pretty nicely and they have idle animations which adds a nice touch to the game as a whole. Idle animations make the environment of the game livelier and make you pay more attention to the characters themselves.

Music & SFX: I give Cooking Dash a 7/10 for its music and SFX. The soundtracks and sound effects used in Cooking Dash fit the whole theme of the game, same as the artwork. You could compare the soundtracks and sound effects to something you would hear in cartoons on the television. The soundtracks and sound effects combined together are really easy on the ears, you will not get disturbed by loud noises that will take you out of your focus. This is important because in late-game Cooking Dash can get pretty difficult and it is important that you are able to concentrate on the game.

Story & Originality: I give Cooking Dash an 8/10 for its story and originality. While there are probably many games on the app stores that have a similar mechanism as Cooking Dash, I think that this game still outdid them because of the backstory it has. Before you start playing the game, you will see a slideshow of pictures where the backstory of the game gets explained to you and why you are all of a sudden in charge of a restaurant by yourself and your grandmother. I think story is one of the most important things in a game because without it, you are missing something crucial which is to be able to bond with the game characters.

General Gameplay: I give Cooking Dash a 7/10 for general gameplay. The general gameplay is pretty straightforward but the developers made sure to keep the game challenging by adding objectives into every level. You can earn up to three stars in every level, the more points you score the more stars you get. These stars are important because they unlock the next restaurants you can play in. All you really have to do is drag customers to their seats and wait for them to make an order. Once you see what they have ordered, you have to serve them their food and wait for them to eat it, after which you pick up the check and clean up their plates. If you do this in a quick pace, you will earn a lot of points. The gameplay in Cooking Dash is smooth and clear and it does not take a long time to get used to it.

Addictiveness: I give Cooking Dash a 7/10 for addictiveness. I like the fact that Cooking Dash does not have any time limits or lives which would limit the players of playing the game how and when they would like to. There are also a lot of levels available to the player so you can play a very long time and if you enjoy the game so much, you can purchase the “upgrade” for a few dollars and unlock all levels. All in all, Cooking Dash is a pretty nice time killer, something you can play when you are waiting for someone or have a few minutes of spare time.

All things considered, I give Cooking Dash a 7/10.
