Kill Shot Cheats & Hack for Gold, Bucks & Energy

Kill Shot is a sniper simulation game created by Hothead games. Currently available on the Google Play Store and Apple iTunes, Kill Shot is rated 4.3 and 4.5 respectively. It’s a free to play game that offer in app purchases. It’s a shame that a relatively reputable company like Hothead games basically ripped off the Deer Hunter series, but they did. There are some differences between Kill Shot and Deer Hunter, but the underlying game is very much the same. An entertaining if somewhat shallow game Kill Shot focuses more on your weapons than on telling a story.

Important Kill Shot Cheats & Tips

When playing Kill Shot there are a number of tips and cheats I can give you that will increase your performance and make your life a lot easier.

Probably the most important thing to remember is that each level you attempt uses your energy, so maximize the amount of points and money you will earn per energy point spent. Headshots are probably the fastest way to accomplish that goal. Take extra time to line up headshots, because each one will award you a bonus of $20, and a very large number of additional points. Along with taking time for headshots, make sure to kill as many people in a row as you can.

Multiple kill bonuses apply when you kill two or more people at the same time, or very shortly within each others deaths.

Your Sniper Rifle can be upgraded in multiple categories, such as: it’s damage output, accuracy, scope distance, magazine size and thermal abilities. You can even buy a silencer for it! Your primary focus should be on upgrading your damage output and accuracy a lot more. This way, you’ll have a much easier time killing your enemies. Your Thermal scope probably comes next in line in terms of upgrade priority, not only does it help you kill more people, but it’s increased active time will allow you to find people in the dark. Of course, you should spend some time making sure your scope and magazine get some upgrades. If you have very steady hands, then your accuracy attribute should be the last priority on your sniper rifle upgrading list.

You should focus the most on making your sniper rifle the strongest gun in your armory, since you will use it for most missions. However, you will be tasked with using other weapons during several important missions. due to this it’s important to take the time to upgrade your other weapons like the shotgun and assault rifle. These weapons will be an absolute requirement to beat the game with, so make sure to pick a good one and then fully upgrade it.

Detailed Kill Shot Review

Kill Shot appears to be setting itself up as a cross between Sniper Elite and one of those hunting games such as Deer Hunter. I’m always up for a bit of first person shootyness, the kind of game where I can say “Wow, look at that big gun” and “Get bent, I bet that hurt, Etc…”, so I’m pretty excited to delve into Kill Shot. This review represents my play experiences with Kill Shot over the course of a week.

So, my first impressions are that It’s immediately obvious that Kill Shot is not as good looking as Sniper Elite. Which I think is a fair criticism since it obviously borrows so much from Sniper Elite in it’s general gameplay, and theme.Everything from the slow motion bullet when you get that final kill, to the nearly pornographic amount of focus present on guns and gun customisation, Kill Shot is definitely targeting an audience that finds pleasure in high calibre weaponry. Unfortunately, it doesn’t deliver when it comes to graphics. The slow motion bullet flying stuff looks fantastic in Sniper Elite, but leaves you disappointed in Kill Shot. The other graphics issue is the enemies, they all have the same squished faces, low poly models, and rigid animations. And for some reason you’re constantly killing the same guy and his twins over and over and over again.

So in Kill Shot you aim your weapon by swiping around the screen, zooming in by tapping upon the icon in the bottom left of your HUD, adjust your zoom further with a slider, and finally shoot by pressing the button in the bottom right. Keep shooting till they are all dead. That is the “depth” Kill shot offers, sure there is a region and world map, where your missions are to take place, but they are pointless to the game.

While you’re upgrading your weapon, you can spin round it in full 3D, inspecting every fine detail, in awe at your new upgrade and deriving a sense of satisfaction from the hard grind it took to to buy. It’s these kinds of details that I’m sure military enthusiasts and shooter fans will come to Kill Shot for, and I’m discovering many more of them as I finish up my current playthrough of this game.

Kill Shot attempts a small amount of storytelling and world building too, using its important Black Ops missions. These missions are a little different in that you are given information about your target before the mission begins, whether the bad guy is a mass murderer or just an unfortunate soldier with the bad luck to be in your scope.

Kill Shot has a solid sense of progression and it’s got lots of upgrade-based excitement. The game features artificially metered progress based on how powerful and how many upgrades you’ve invested into certain elements of your gun. Additionally there’s an energy system to limit how much you can play at once and changing daily missions to keep you coming back for more. For example; today I beat a horde of zombies with a shotgun, and was awarded a brand new shotgun for my troubles.

It’s also a very simple game, and the further into the game you get, the more you feel the pressure to buy gold bars or cash. Speaking of which the game offers you two types of currency, Gold and Cash. Gold is used to purchase absolutely anything you want in the game. While Cash is a much more limited form of currency, only offering you upgrades, and an occasional new weapon.

Overall, The game is really hurt by being an energy based. time gated gameplay system. It probably would have been a better game if it costed $2 or something in the shop.

Our Overall Ratings

Artwork: I’m awarding Kill Shot a 4/10 for its artwork. The artwork is rough and poorly rendered. Zooming in and out really puts this into perspective due to the terrible blocky nature of all of your victims.

Music & SFX: I give the game an easy 8/10 for it’s music & SFX. It’s slowmo bullet scenes and buckets of blood are very entertaining, if a bit provocative.

Story & Originality: I have to give this a 5/10. There’s no real story except the briefest of intros in the “black ops” missions.

General Gameplay: I’m going to give an 8/10 for its early gameplay and a 3/10 for its late game gameplay. This is actually a very entertaining game until you run out of energy to keep playing…

Addictiveness: I firmly believe this is a 8/10. This game can easily suck you into a world where you pay $30+ just trying to play the game. It’s fun and flashy and very easy to decide to spend a few bucks here and there to keep playing. The costs add up quick.

Overall Rating: When it comes to the overall rating of this game, I give Kill Shot a 7/10.
