Imagine being able to revive old, dirty and broken classic race cars. Your job is to fix them up, give them a shine and race opponents to become the best drag racer in the world. CSR is all about owning the most beautiful and powerful race car and beating your opponents one by one. CSR Classics has been developed and successfully released by game developer NaturalMotionGames, and is very popular among racing game enthusiasts. The game has been downloaded over ten million times with a stunning rating of 4.4 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. CSR Classics is available for free, both on Google Play Store and iOS App Store, so grab a copy and enjoy the ride!

There are two ways to play CSR Classics; you can sign in with your Facebook account or play with a guest account. If you decide to log in with your Facebook account, you will receive thirty gold coins for free, which you will not get when you decide to play with a guest account. After you have decided how you would like to play CSR Classics, the tutorial will start. You will learn how to rev your car properly, how to shift gears, how to upgrade your car and how to purchase new cars. After the tutorial ends, you will be able to participate in different kinds of races. The goal of CSR Classics is for you to become the best drag racer in the world.

There are three different kinds of races in CSR Classics. The first one is called Regulation Race, in which you can decide how difficult your opponents will be. The higher you set the difficulty, the better prizes you will win. The second one is called Ladder Races, in which you need to race in your own car against progressively tougher opponents. The further you progress in Ladder Races, the better the prizes will become. The third race kind is called Crew Battle, and during crew battles, you will challenge the crew members of your current location. You will have to beat all crew members in a particular area in order to progress to the next tier. There are a total of five tiers in CSR Classics and each one of them has a crew. The crews become significantly tougher, the more you progress through the game.

You will unlock the multiplayer online game mode, once you have beaten all crew members of tier one. In the online multiplayer mode you will be able to race against players around the world, to see who the best drag racer between you two is. Winning in any kind of race, single player or multiplayer, will earn you cash. With cash, you can go to the car dealership and purchase a new car. There are many car brands you can choose from and many that you need to unlock by getting to a higher tier.

Each car has two settings; a loved one and an unloved one. A loved car is one that has been maintained and looks clean. These cars are expensive but require less maintenance from you. An unloved car is one that has been neglected a lot. These cars are way cheaper than a loved one, but require way more maintenance and cleaning. After you have decided what kind of car you want to purchase, you can select the color and press the buy button.

You can check out your own profile, in which you can see several statistics about yourself. You can see your best time for 1/4 mile, total distance, total time, level, total cash, total gold and the cars that you own. You can share these stats through social media, if you decide to do so.

CSR Classics has leaderboards implemented into it. You can check out the leaderboards for the overall earnings, overall time and tier one till tier five quarter mile time. There is also an achievement system, in which you can check your achievement progress. Successfully completing achievements will reward you with experience points. When you have gained enough experience points, you will level up, which will unlock more items in the in-game store.

There are two kinds of currencies in CSR Classics. The first one is in the form of paper money and is simply called cash. You can earn cash easily by playing the game and winning races. The better you perform against rougher opponents, the more in-game cash you will earn. The second currency is called gold and is premium. Obtain gold coins by playing the game is pretty difficult, in fact it is almost impossible. You can use both the in-game cash and gold coins to purchase new cars, upgrade cars and purchase different kinds of items for your cars. Higher tier cars will cost a lot of gold coins, while upgrading your cars will cost you a lot of in-game cash.

Each car has four attributes, which are pretty important to determine if you will be able to progress through the game. These four attributes are called; power, weight, grip and gearbox. You can make your car more powerful by upgrading its parts. These parts include the gear box, engine, carburetor, exhaust and nitrous. If you have purchased an unloved car, you can also restore its looks, which will bring its weight down. All of these upgrades can be performed by spending in-game cash, which you earn by winning races.

You can purchase in-game cash and gold coins with real money, if you wish to do so. The price for in-game cash varies from $2,99 for the smallest amount of 15.000 in-game cash and goes up till $99,99 for the largest amount of 1.000.000 in-game cash. The price for gold coins varies from $2,99 for the smallest amount of 300 gold coins and goes up till $99,99 for the largest amount of 16.500 gold coins. You can earn free gold coins by completing offers through a reward system. The offers usually entail that you have to watch an advertisement video or download and test out another app/game. After completing said offer, you will be awarded with a certain amount of gold coins.

CSR Classics Cheats & Tips

There are a lot of websites on the internet that claim they have working cheat tools for CSR Classics, which can allegedly give you an unlimited amount of gold coins, in-game cash and also unlock every single car in the game. These promises are usually accompanied by logos that state that their website is safe and secure, Facebook testimonials from people who have already downloaded and used said cheat tools and many more things. All of these things are designed just to lure unknowing people in and make money off of them. It is a fact that these cheat tools do not work, and the only way to download and test them out is by filling in a survey. It might sound weird but every survey generates an income for the fake cheat website, and that is all they want from you. After you have downloaded the so called cheat tool, you will quickly find out that you have been duped and you have just wasted your time for nothing.

I have decided to test out one of the cheat tools available for CSR Classics, for the sake of this review. I went to one of the websites that offered a cheat tool for CSR Classics, clicked on the download button and got redirected to a clean and professionally designed download website. Once I was on the download website, I clicked on the download button again and a pop-up showed up, telling me that I needed to fill in a survey before my download could start. After I filled in a survey and my download completed, I clicked on the cheat tool for it to start, but nothing happened. After a short while, several error messages popped up, telling me that I needed to re-download the cheat tool for it to work. Instead of wasting your time and possibly risking your computer with viruses, I will give you some tips and tricks that will help you with your gameplay in CSR Classics.

In CSR Classics, it is very important to know when to upgrade your car and when not to. At the beginning of the gameplay, you will have a first tier car, which you can upgrade of course, but that would simply be a waste of in-game cash. You can win races with your car, without having to upgrade it. This way you can save up a lot of in-game cash, and purchase better cars and upgrade those instead. If you do upgrade your first car, you will quickly find out that it is way too underpowered to be able to win against rougher opponents. There is only a maximum amount of upgrades you can perform on your car before it reaches it limit. My advice to everyone would be to first purchase a higher tier car, and only after that start upgrading your cars. This way, you will still be able to beat rougher opponents, and earn more in-game cash.

The second piece of advice I would like to give everyone is that you can always grind levels or participate in ladder races, in order to save up some in-game cash. After you have saved up some in-game cash, you can easily purchase better cars and upgrade them, which will allow you to be beat those difficult crew races. You will need a fast and powerful car if you want to reach the next tier, which means that you will need a lot of in-game cash. You can also try to earn some free gold coins by completing offers through the reward system. This might not work so well, but anything is better than paying real money for in-game currencies.

CSR Classics Review

When I saw the screenshots of CSR Classics, I already knew what I could expect from the gameplay. Over the years I have played several other drag racing games that were very similar to CSR Classics in controls and gameplay. This does not mean that CSR Classics is a bad game, because it has features in it that I have never seen before. For starters, the graphics of CSR Classics are very nice and the fact that the cars have real world brands is a very nice positive aspect. I like seeing cars that I also could see parked somewhere on the streets. Having real life brands probably means that the developer needed to pay for the name rights, which is true dedication in my opinion. I really like that the soundtracks fit the overall theme of the game and enhances the gameplay in a thrilling sense.

There aren’t many negative aspects about CSR Classics, except for two, which are pretty bad in my opinion. For starters, you will quickly find out that everything in the game is pretty expensive, from upgrading your car to purchasing new cars. This makes it feel like the developers did this on purpose, so that the players will have to either purchase in-game currencies with real money or they will have to grind levels for a long time to save up money? At the beginning of the gameplay, there is even a text bubble suggesting that you should buy more currencies so you can upgrade your car immediately.

Of course, you can earn free gold coins, which is the premium currency of CSR Classics, by completing offers through a reward system. The problem with such systems is that they often do not work the way they are supposed to. You will often find that you are not being paid out the amount of gold coins that you were supposed to get, or not get anything at all. I feel like the developers should look into this, and either fix the reward system or make items within the game cheaper so that any player can purchase them easier.

The second negative aspect about CSR Classics is that the developers have implemented a limitation to the playtime. This limitation comes in the form of fuel canisters, which you only have a ten of. For each race that you participate in, you will use one of your fuel canisters. After you lose all of your fuel canisters, you will either have to wait a long time before you are able to race again or you have to spend twenty gold coins to replenish your fuel storage immediately. If you decide to not pay any gold coins, you will have to wait ten minutes per fuel canister to be replenished automatically. This means that you almost have to wait two hours before you can race ten times in a row again. Games that have playtime limitations implemented into them are a huge turn off for me and for many other players as well. The developers should really look into turning off this limitation, allow players to play whenever they want, however long they want.

CSR Classics Ratings

Artwork: I give CSR Classics an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics in CSR Classics are very nice, especially considering that it is a mobile game. The car designs are very detailed and match how they look in real life. This is very nice to see because there are a lot of classic car enthusiasts in the world, and seeing their favorite car in a mobile game will make them play the game more. There are many special effects during races, which fit perfectly well together with the overall graphics of the game.

Music & SFX: I give CSR Classics an 8/10 for its music and SFX. There are several different soundtracks and many sound effects in CSR Classics, which enhances the general gameplay of the game. I like the fact that the main menu has a different soundtrack compared to the soundtracks during races, which helps players to get a more thrilling feeling when they are drag racing against an opponent. In my opinion, the developers did a good job fitting the soundtracks together with the sound effects, and making them match with the graphics of the game.

Story & Originality: I give CSR Classics a 7/10 for its story and originality. Over the past couple of years, I have played a lot of mobile games. I have played racing games, very similar to CSR Classics, where you had to drag race against opponents, rev your car and shift gears. Luckily, I have also seen several features in the game that I have never seen before. Features such as being able to purchase a loved or an unloved car, being able to restore a dirty broken car and customization options are very new to me. This makes CSR Classics feel fresh and original in my opinion. Unfortunately, there is no real story behind the game, even though there are crews and guides within the gameplay itself. A nice story would have enhanced the gameplay and would allow players to feel more for the characters in the game itself.

General Gameplay: I give CSR Classics an 8/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay of CSR Classics starts off with a tutorial, which teaches you how to control your car, how to purchase cars at the dealership, how to upgrade your cars and what you need to do to progress through the game. After the tutorial, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but still entertaining to play due to the fact that there are many different kinds of game modes. I really like the fact that you can play against players around the world in the multiplayer game mode, to see who the better drag racer between you two is.

Addictiveness: I give CSR Classics a 6/10 for addictiveness. I cannot rate CSR Classics higher than a six for its addictiveness, due to the fact that the developers have implemented a playtime limitation into the game. You have a total of ten fuel canisters and for every race that you participate in, you will lose one fuel canister. Once you are out of fuel canisters, you will either need to pay twenty gold coins to fully replenish your fuel storage, or you will have to wait ten minutes per fuel canister to be replenished automatically. I do not believe that playtime limitations do any good for mobile games. They are a huge turn off and players get easily annoyed by them. I want to decide for myself how long or how many times I want to play CSR Classics and not be limited by fuel canisters.

All things considered, I give CSR Classics a 7/10.
