The main languages that the world uses is available for this game. The newest version of Jelly Splash is 2.8.0 meaning that the game has gone through a lot of updates and is probably a decently good game due to the amount of updates that it has gone through, granted most of the updates are simple bug fixes or they can be crash fixes which help some players. This version, version 2.8.0, was updated on July 06, 2015 which is decently recent, so you should probably be expecting that this game will fix anything in case there are a ton of bugs or a good majority of people are getting crashes when playing the game. Wooga, the producer of Jelly Splash, will probably guarantee that most players will be able to play the game without too much trouble.

I will admit, Jelly Splash is on the higher size in terms of size of the game. Jelly Splash requires 82.5 MB of space which is most likely due to the fact that there are over 400 stages that you can play in this game. The more stages there are, the more space is required from your phone. Jelly Splash requires players to either use Game Center or their Facebook to register for the game so that the game can keep track of their progress in the game as well as be able to compare your scores to the scores of your friends on both Game Center as well as Facebook. This will provide a bit more motivation for players to get the best score possible and make it a sort of competition between friends for the top score that could motivate more players to play the game. All in all, in order to play Jelly Splash, the only deterrent to playing Jelly Splash is whether your device is compatible with the game. As long as you are keeping up with the updates that Apple constantly rolls out, your device should be fine and ready to download Jelly Splash. Jelly Splash is also available for Android devices.
For each round that you play in Jelly Splash, you will be limited by the number of moves that you can do. Each move is considered one finger stroke. So you can put your finger on the screen and then make a line but after that, you won’t be able to lift it or else your turn will be over. First of all, the game has about 6 colors for which there are about an even number of jellies on a page of jellies. Another basis that the game has is that you have to connect the jellies together in a way so that you can connect two of the same color jellies together whether it is diagonal or to the side or above or below the jelly that you are on. So you have to link the same color jelly for as long as you can.
This will grant you the most points if you manage to score the most possible jellies with one move. The goal of the game is that you have to score as many points as the game shows you in the beginning. The game will give you a score that you need to reach in order to make it to the next stage. The game will also give you a number of stars based off of your performance on the rounds These stars are measured by the number of points that you manage to get. These stars are important for unlocking the next stages because the next stage is unlocked based off of the number of stars that you get from the previous X number of rounds that you have done. So often, you might have to back to the earlier stages and try and get a higher number of stars in order to advance to the next stage. To get more stars, you simply have to get more points and longer combos.
If you aren’t able to score the sufficient number of stars, you will be prevented from playing the next rounds that are required to continue the adventure. If you kind of recognize this game as similar to another really popular game. That game might be Candy Crush where the gameplay is very similar but a bit different because Jelly Splash is about linking a good number of same color jellies together while Candy Crush is based on switching the places of two candies in order to get a combo off. So the gameplay is pretty different, but I think that Jelly Splash is a bit easier to understand and easier to play than Candy Crush. The concept of the gameplay is simply a lot easier to explain to players and a lot more understandable.
The producers of Jelly Splash, Wooga does give everybody a pretty good idea of how to play the game through the tutorial. Just like any other tutorial, this game explains the basic goal of the game and how to play but they don’t really give any kind of strategy when it comes to trying to get the best possible score in the game. Obviously, they want you to figure out the best strategy for players to use in order to get the highest score or they want players to innovate their own strategies to the game. I do think that they could add a couple of more explanations of the power-ups from the tutorial, but I think that players will understand enough to read the description of everything once they start a game so that they aren’t confused when they start playing the game for real. There is also really no problem with starting out bad. There is an infinite number of times that you can play Jelly Splash so players can just restart the round if they don’t manage to finish the round with enough points in order to move onto the next round. However, the really easy rounds are in the beginning, so players who might not know what they are doing will probably still make it up pretty high for Jelly Splash.
For a free game, Jelly Splash does offer a ton of stages. They do make the stages a lot harder later to make you more enticed to purchase the in-app purchases so that you can get a lot more bonuses that you are able to get through the levels a lot easier and be able to reach that score that you need in order to make it to the next level. This will ultimately decide whether you are able to make it to the highest levels of like 400 or so. This is the main source of revenue for the producers who will also use a ton of ads as well in order to make some more money. You can buy coins with whatever you spend on the game. The coins will allow you to get a ton of extra bonuses which will earn you a lot of points overall to grant you a ton of extra rounds after that, just making you play more and buy more.
The game does connect to facebook so that you can log your progress and make sure that you are competing against your friends. A lot of people do use the Facebook as a way to log into the game, but some users have reported their progress as missing so they have to start all over which can be a huge demoralizer, so you should really only use Facebook if all of your friends are because otherwise I don’t see much benefit to doing so because you can simply use Game Center which is already given to you for free without the problem of losing all of your progress. It would also be more appreciated if there was some sort of dueling feature that allowed you to duel your friends to see who was better at the game. I think that this would raise the competitive level of the game make players want to play it even more to become better at the game rather than just playing the game solely for fun. I think that it is the future of app games to be more competitive and have this dueling feature that Fruit Ninja has now. I think that if games implemented it from the start rather than after their whole fad is over, then it would be much more popular for a lot longer time period.
Jelly Splash is a game based off of having a certain amount of moves that you can make and you have to be proactive in figuring out how many you can get in a row as well as how they fall so that you can calculate out that you can get an even bigger combo the next turn. It is pretty complex if you think about it, but all in all, if you are looking for a fun experience, you shouldn’t be thinking about those things and rather thinking about finding the biggest combo for each turn otherwise it will require a ton of thinking in order to figure out if you will really get the highest amount out of a combo. If you do think that far, it could be really boring and not very fun, so I would not be surprised if no one really pulls it off, but if you don’t do it, you will be forced to make a couple of in-app purchases in order to make it to the 400 mark.
The game may seem a bit like it is based off of luck, but the game is pretty complex in that the falling of the block determine how many you will get in a combo, so it is pretty hard to determine how well you will do because it is more based off of luck than anything else in terms of how many ponti syou will get. So I don’t really have any kind of good tips for you for this game, but some other game like Candy Crush, you can calculate more easily rather than this strand of the same colors which are dropping.
The graphics of this game are alright but they are pretty simplistic which isn’t that bad of a thing. It does make the game a bit simple and repetitive with everything, so I think that the graphics are appropriate for the game. Overall, I think that the game should work on a bit of outside animation or seasonal animation to make the game a bit more interesting. The game should add a couple of different things for the seasonal time. It would make the game a bit more interesting and add a bit to the game itself and make it more pleasant to look at.
I think that they overdid the stages too because it does get a bit repetitive towards the end and way too hard at the end. This makes people a lot more bored of the game because there are simply too many stages to play and also a little bit too much effort in order to get through the later stages which can make it pretty frustrating and not very fun to play. I think that the game should also be a bit more fun in terms of different maps and stages so that the game changes pace or even some kind of difference in terms of the actual gameplay and make it more of a Candy Crush like game which is a proven fun game.
I would recommend this game to anybody who really likes those games where you have to figure out a bunch of combos together, but it is a lot simpler than any other game which is similar to it. It does provide a couple of different, more interesting idea of a combo than some other game like Candy Crush. It would probably be more tilted towards younger players who think that the game is a bit easier to play than other games like Candy Crush.
The reviews that people have been leaving include the fact that the Facebook login does sometimes glitch out where you can’t play at the level that you left off at. Some other people have also complained about the fact that the game is a bit buggy at times.
Ratings:
Artwork:
I would give Jelly Splash Review a 7/10. The artwork is pretty nice but repetitive. It is cute, but it is just the same artwork with different colors attached to it.
Music and SFX
I would give Jelly Splash Review a 3/10. The music is pretty average and what you would expect out of a game like this and the sound effects don’t really add too much to the game besides the classic combo sound as well as the classic game ending sounds. It’s not really anything out of the ordinary.
Story and Originality
I would give Jelly Splash Review a 4/10. I don’t think that there is any specific storyline to this game because you are pretty much just doing round after round, but I think it is kind of original in its gameplay and doesn’t follow games like Candy Crush as much.
General Gameplay
I would give Jelly Splash Review a 3/10. I think that while the gameplay is interesting and quite unique, it really isn’t anything special or fun to play over a certain amount of time.
Addictiveness
I would give Jelly Splash Review a 5/10. The game is pretty addicting because you want to get to the highest levels but at around 200 or so, you do start to get bored of the game because it does not offer anything new for the rounds but just makes it harder for you to play without using money.
Overall Rating
Overall, I would give Jelly Splash Review a 5/10.
