Hardest Game Ever 2 Hack & Tips for Cheats & Arcade Mode

Having great marketing tactics is more like having the ability to sell a useless product or even a product that don’t actually even exist but that’s considered as a con job and you’ll have to hide yourself after that. People use various marketing techniques and advertisement is the most popular example of them, another example is using an attractive name which might not be common as advertisement but has been effective for forcing people to tryout that product especially if trying doesn’t cost anything. Same is the story with Hardest Game Ever 2, which I’ll be reviewing today. This game is developed by Orangenose Studios which seems to use the same name tactics with their other games also.

Hardest Game Ever 2 is a sequel to ‘Hardest Game Ever – 0.02s’. The previous edition is only available for iOS devices and is a series of time-based mini games that measures your reaction time in different scenarios. Hardest Game Ever – 0.02s gained too much hits because the name, kind of, challenged people to try it and the reviews were positive. Now, Hardest Game Ever 2 follows the same footsteps as the previous one and this time lands on both Android and iOS platforms looking for the same fame. So let’s see that if lives upto its name and leaves a good mark or it’s just a deception.

Hardest Game Ever 2 doesn’t follow any story and isn’t much different from the first edition. It will starts with a warning that is ‘this game is extremely tough and you might need cheats to clear few stages’. This game features two modes which are Stage and Arcade, and both contains the same forty eight mini games. Like almost every other game, this one too is based upon the freemium rules, you can access the Stage mode but to play Arcade mode you’ll have to pay $0.99. Buying arcade mode will remove ads and will also give you unlimited retries, which otherwise is limited to fifty.

The Stage mode contains two packs which are Original and Extreme, and each contains twenty four mini games in four different levels that makes six mini games per level, also known as stages. The levels are easy, normal, hard and insane. As previously mentioned each game is time based and the requirement of each stage are totally different and are independent of each other, you could be the master of one stage while you might be the kings of the duck in other. This game is more like a test for your senses, especially the ones contributing towards response time, you have to be fast and accurate. Each stage is graded, from S to F, depending upon the time that you’ll take to complete it. Half of the stages are explained below with tips, if there are any, which can help to clear them.

Easy level contains:

Stage 1 – Stop Tickling Me – This stage requires you to tickle the foot as fast as possible. The foot will appear on one of the three lanes and you’ll have to press the corresponding button. Luckily in this stage, there isn’t any penalty if you press the wrong button hence just tap the buttons with three of your fingers rapidly and an S grade is confirm.

Stage 2 – Rock, Paper and Scissors – If you have ever played this game then you’ll have the idea how this works. Here you will have to select the winning side or press middle button in case of draw. You’ll get score based upon the time you’ll take to respond and there is penalty too if you select the wrong one.

Stage 3 – Silly Sleepy Boy – Here you’ll have to keep the head of boy balanced by tapping the side opposite to the falling one. Tip here is that you can use multiple fingers at a time instead of one.

Stage 4 – Morning Toilet Rush – You’ll tap sides alternatively to get the boy towards toilet seat. There isn’t any difficulty in this.

Stage 5 – Ice Cream Mania – In this stage you’ll have to fill up cones but it will require practice. Just place three fingers of a single hand on each lane and start with the one with most scoops

Stage 6 – Slap a lot – In this stage you’ll have to slap a boy exactly thirty-seven times because he touched a girl where he wasn’t supposed to. A counter appears for a limited time and afterwards you’ll be dependent upon your counting. The trick here is to use multiple fingers at a time and count afterwards, and on even slaps his face will be towards right side.

Three S are required to unlock ‘Normal’ difficulty level and the stages are

Stage 7 – Cowboy Bar Shooter – This stage requires you to blow up certain number of wine glasses.

Stage 8 – Photo Show girls – Pressing buttons will take pictures of girls on the ramp. Instead of single finger use multiples and tap as fast as you can.

Stage 9 – Bomb Panic Squad – Here you’ll have to stop a bomb as close as possible to zero for a perfect score. Start with the one that has least remaining time.

Stage 10 – The Jackpot One – There isn’t thing difficult in this, you just have to follow the instructions of the spinners and use two fingers to tap faster.

Stage 11 – Oh I love Maths – It just requires to memorize the number hidden below the hand and solve simple addition questions but it will require practice to get it below required time.

Stage 12 – Three Little Cook – In this stage you’ll have to tap just before eggs reaches blue line to catch them. Follow the same technique of Bomb panic Squad.

Ten S are required to unlock ‘Hard’ difficulty level and the stages in this one are

Stage 13 – Guess Who Am I – It just requires you to guess person behind the hand. They will appear in pattern, for example, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1 or 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3.

Stage 14 – Dog vs. Bone – You’ll have to balance a bone on dog’s head. Don’t try to balance it in the middle just keep on moving it towards the edges and you’ll last longer.

Stage 15 – Hop Hop Hop – Here you’ll guide a boy to hop across a river by helping him to select the next point to hop on.

Stage 16 – Super Chin Up Hero – It requires you to tap left and right alternatively, as fast as possible to do many chin-ups within 6 seconds. Just put the mobile on a desk, place three of your fingers and mash it as fast as you can.

Stage 17 – Pluck a Nose Hair – I know that’s is a bit grossing but a game is a game. Here you’ll try to stop the cursor as close as possible to the red region to pluck a hair. Summation of the strength represents the total score.

Stage 18 – Same Card Poker – In this stage you’ll select the cards, if there are any, with identical numbers.

Hard level ends here. To access ‘Insane’ difficulty level you’ll require sixteen S.

Stage 19 – Let’s Go Fishing – You’ll have to tap the button and flip the device upwards when any of the three fishing rods shakes. To get a quick S perform both of steps together.

Stage 20 – High Dice Master – Here comes another mathematics related stage, in this one you’ll have to select the dices with the highest possible sum and again as fast as you can. You cannot get an S straight away, you’ll have to be patient.

Stage 21 – I Hate Fractions!! – If you’re good in mathematical calculations then you’ll not face any issue here. Two different values will appear on the screen and you’ll have to select the bigger of the two. The trick here is to go for the value whose numerator is one number less than the denominator and almost all the times it will be correct.

Stage 22 – Comon, Who Farted!? – This stage requires you to memorize the pattern of farts and repeat them again. The initial patterns are easy and make sure that you don’t get anything else than perfect in the first few.

Stage 23 – Super Memory Bus – This stage is very familiar to the previous one, you’ll have to remember faces of three kids and the colors related to them, then you’ll have to tap on the respective colors the number of times kids appears on the bus. It is a bit tough and try not to go insane over this one.

Stage 24 – Stickman Cliff Jumper – This one is the closing stage of both ‘Insane’ difficulty level and this game’s original pack. In the first part of the stage you’ll tap the run button as fast as you can to increase the speed and give momentum for the dive. In the second part, when you’re close to the edge you’ll press and hold the jump button to get an angle near to forty-five to cover the maximum possible distance.

Same is the case for the Extreme mode which contains rest of the twenty-four levels distributed in a similar pack of six. The Arcade mode features the same stages but you don’t get to choose the stage, you’ll get them at random as opposed to Stages mode.

The latest version of Hardest Game Ever 2 at the time of review was 9.0 which required android users to be on minimum Android 4.0.3 (Ice-cream Sandwich) and Apple users need to me on minimum iOS 7.0. This version contained few bugs, for example, sometimes when maximized the game would go black and restarting it was the only solution, there were also few not responding and forced closures. This game features multiple languages and cannot be synced with Google Play Games which means there aren’t any achievements too. The only option that you’ve got is of Facebook sync to compare ranks of your stages with your friends but I wasn’t able to it due to again due to unknown issues.

If you aren’t able to clear any stage there are few in-app purchases which can help you in that. As previously mentioned you can use cheats to skip stages. You can get one cheat for $0.99, buying two cheats for $1.99 will also get you one free cheat, and the last packages is for $2.99 which will give your total of six cheats out of which three are free. Buying anything will remove annoying ads. You can also get free cheats by liking the developer on Facebook or by installing other games from developer via gift box.

Hardest Game Ever 2 Review

It’s time to sum up the game, it can be challenging, funny, exciting and sometimes too much irritating. The artwork isn’t any sign of workmanship, it just a mixture of cartoony images with creative ideas to keep you busy and it is very good in that. The artwork is funny but sometime get inappropriate and kids shouldn’t be allowed to play this game. The artwork of UI too is totally vanilla with decently saturated colors. Although it isn’t the case but sometime UI feels a bit complex because of too much content squeezed without any gap between them, and also because of annoying ads and continuous offers to get free cheats by installing different apps. The sound department is just strong enough to support the game, the background music resembles that of ‘The looney Tunes’ from SNES era. Small sound are different for almost each mini game but the major part is repetitive but that wouldn’t be an issue because of the interesting gameplay.

This game has almost 4/5 stars users rating and more than ten million downloads only on android platform, making it a perfect example of a game which dominated the market solely because of the gameplay which no doubt is attractive and I’ll have to give credit to developer for using idea of combining several games into one. Every mini game has a trick and can make the user laugh and angry simultaneously because the games looks extremely simple yet difficult to clear. There is one small issue with the gameplay that is games starts to feel like a bit repetitive, utilizing the same idea with different graphical theme but it isn’t anything major.

Overall the game is enjoyable and can waste tons of your time if you want it to. I don’t know if it’s hardest or not but this game is definitely tough. I’ll recommend this game to people I know but excluding kids because of few inappropriate and spoiled up things, for example, undergarment while fishing.

Ratings:

General Gameplay: Hardest Game Ever 2 scores an 8/10 here. It is the only strength of this game and offers different enjoyable humorous batch of mini games which puts your senses into use and requires all of your attention towards it. The controls just involves pressing three or two buttons on the screen that gives the deception of game being an easy one. The only thing which I hate is that you’ll have to go through the menu every time you want to retry a game just because of limited retries.

Artwork: I’ll give this game a 7/10 here. As previously mentioned artwork is cartoony, funny, decently saturated making it good enough to support the game. There still is room for improvement but it still would suffice.

Sound and SFX: This game gets a 6/10 here. I’ll sum everything about it in a sentence that ‘it is that kind of music which a developer provides when he only want to make sure that the game isn’t music less’.

Story & Originality: I’ll give Hardest Game Ever 2 a 7.5/10. Although there isn’t any story behind it but I haven’t played another game which utilizes the idea of combining many games into one, which, at least for me, makes this game unique.

Addictiveness: Hardest Game Ever 2 gets another 8/10 in this area. This give is definitely addictive but lose tempered people shouldn’t play it continuously especially when the stage isn’t clearing because it can mess with their minds and can even make them damage their devices by pressing screen hardly in frustration.

Overall I’ll give this game 7.5/10.
