Fun Run 2, brought to us by Dirtybit and available on Android and iOS, is an extremely unique multiplayer racing game that requires the player to decapitate their opponents in a variety of ways in order to finish first. With violent but comedic animation reminiscent of the ultra popular cartoon Happy Tree Friends, Fun Run 2 is an easy way to compete with friends and random opponents from across the globe! The game is similar to Mario Kart in that the player must obtain power-ups to either benefit themselves or stall their competition; these power-ups are littered throughout the maps and come in many interesting forms including bear traps, lightning, saw-blades and rockets.
The races always consist of four players, and the better you do, the more gold you earn! You can sass up your critter and show off your racing prowess by spending this gold on various accessories in the in-game shop. There’s also a ranking system in which you can fight your way through the leagues, ranging from the wood league to the diamond league. You’ll earn rating points that correspond to your placement in races, and these will allow you to move up. With more than 200,000 people already playing internationally, getting to the top won’t be an easy feat! The controls themselves are fairly straightforward and user friendly, your critter runs automatically and will gain speed when heading down a slope or launching off a bouncy mushroom. You can tap the screen to jump, and you must press your item displayed in the bottom left of the screen in order to use it.
To acquire an item, you simply run through or jump on the item box. For those of you who are familiar with Fun Run 1, Fun Run 2 has improved upon and added various features. These include a new avatar, new items a new race mode and graphics that are vastly superior. Sitting at an awe inspiring 4.2/5 stars in the Google Play Store, there’s no reason not to give this one a whirl! You can also get this app on the Apple App Store.
Fun Run 2 is the second game in this popular franchise. In order to win, you’ll need a lot of coins. They’re not that easy to come by. Download our free Fun Run 2 hack tool now, directly from our website, to easily get coins.
Our Fun Run 2 hack tool is very easy to use. The image below will show you just how simple it is. All you have to do is enter the amount of coins you want. It’s a piece of cake!
Download our Fun Run 2 hack from our site. It takes 30 seconds to download, and another 30 seconds for it to install. Choose Android or iOS. Enter how many coins you want. Then, click the big “start” button.
This will begin the hack. After it’s completed, which will take 30 seconds or less, just open the app on your device. It will run like normal but your coins will be there, ready for you to use them!
Because Fun Run 2 is a competitive multiplayer game, there are no legal cheats as this would be unfair for the other players. However, there are hacks available that allow players access to unlimited gold and items. Be wary about using these as they will most likely result in a ban. For first offenders, the ban will last for 24 hours, but if you continually use these hacks, you will be banned indefinitely.
Though it seems like staying on higher ground will benefit you, remaining on the ground floor in order to hit the speed strips will actually be faster in the long run.
It’s tempting to use the rocket item immediately, but you should hold onto it until there are a few players in front of you so you can wipe them out when it inevitably blows up (unless you’re extremely close to the finish line, in that case, go for it!)
It’ll take a bit of practice, but learn how to best use your items. For instance, since bear traps will sit behind you, it would be foolish to use them if you’re in last place. Similarly, buzz-saws are only effective if people are directly in front of you. Don’t worry about items such as lightning or magnets too much, as they’ll hit whoever’s in front of you regardless of your aim.
Walls are one of the most annoying obstacles in the game, so minimise the amount to which they’ll slow you down by hitting them as high as possible immediately. Starting mid-way up those buggers could be all the difference in the end!
Personally, I’m a big fan of competitive gaming so Fun Run 2 is definitely a great app in my books. There’s nothing like smashing a few opponents on the train, especially in the ruthlessly vicious way that this game allows you to do it! The cartoonish graphics are particularly vibrant and fun, and the sound effects are pretty top notch, bordering on gruesome. It runs really smoothly, especially for a multiplayer game. I haven’t experienced any lag relying on my 3G connection. In saying this, the game could improve in a couple of aspects. Though there’s a lot of variety in the items themselves, the maps don’t really vary in difficulty, and I feel as though that would add a lot to the game-play in general. Further, the accessories in the in-game store are rather pricy, so you’ve gotta really work for them. This could be viewed as a plus though, because the harder something is to earn, the sweeter it is when you finally get there. Though it’s completely expected given the nature of the game, make sure that your device is fully charged, as playing this on the go will really drain your battery!
Fun Run 2 Ratings
Artwork: The artwork is really professional, especially when it’s compared to that of Fun Run 1. The maps are extremely vibrant, and though they are repetitive in parts, there’s so much going on whilst you’re playing that you’ll barely notice. The graphics aren’t at all choppy, which is pretty impressive considering the fact that it’s a multiplayer game that relies on internet connection. All in all, I give the artwork a 9 out of 10.
Music and SFX: There’s no music in Fun Run 2, which is a little disappointing, but the sound effects themselves are pretty great and quite similar to those in Happy Tree Friends. Overall, I rate the music and sound effects 7 out of 10.
Story and Originality: There’s no story as such, god knows why these cute little critters are destroying each other! However, the game is very original, and the power-ups really put some spin on the generic racing games that we all know well. I give the game’s story and originality an 8 out of 10.
General Gameplay: The competitive aspect of Fun Run 2 is awesome, and I love its fast-paced nature. The items themselves are super interesting and diverse, and the controls are incredibly smooth. Although they could work on the physics of the game a little, since climbing walls can be especially tedious, the controls are tight and responsive and I’ll give the gameplay an 8 out of 10.
Addictiveness: Fun Run 2 is incredibly addictive, especially because you’re trying to beat real opponents. It’ll be very tempting to dedicate a lot of your time to getting those accessories and climbing the ranks! I couldn’t put it down, 10 out of 10.
Overall, I give Fun Run 2 a 9 out of 10.
