After I started playing, I was, however, amazed – Sniper X with Jason Statham is a more than solid game.

Definitely the best feature the game has is the fact that Jason Statham is your supervisor. You will always hear advices and jokes from him. Also, when you are on a bad streak he will make a comment on this so be prepared for some sarcastic (yet hilarious) British statements. On a more serious note, I must give a shout-out to the gameplay of Sniper X with Jason Statham because it is exquisite. Even though you are a Sniper and you are not able to move, the enemies will eventually spot you and will start shooting at you (or retreat), your weapon’s reloading time will annoy you, your hands will shake and you may miss the target if you are not precise and so on – what I am trying to say is that there is a more than enough dose of realism in the game to make it entertaining.

In addition to this, there are dozens of weapons and afferent upgrades you can choose from, a vast campaign segmented into different zones and slightly different objectives so the game doesn’t feel too repetitive. It is worth mentioning that Sniper X with Jason Statham is a game with discrete ads that will not interfere with your visibility in any way like usually happens in free titles.

In the following lines I will explain what I would change or what I simply don’t like about Sniper X with Jason Statham. First of all, I believe that there should be a proper “Inventory” tab where you can overview all your weapons and their upgrades. The theme is interesting and everything is oriented around it even though the game feels a bit cartoonish in my opinion (not necessarily a problem). The environment is interesting and there are some interactions with it (barrels and such). The character design is pretty default and there isn’t much to be said about it. The animations effects are also not detailed and the last kill of each mission (the camera will follow the bullet) is too dramatic but again, nothing annoying in particular.

Music & SFX: The game gets a rating of 8 out of 10 for its music and sound effects. The soundtrack is limited but the songs that are used are good enough to overlook this aspect. The songs fit the game’s theme and they provide the war-like atmosphere which Sniper X with Jason Statham should have. There are some sound effects but similar to the animation effects, they don’t really stand out in any way.

Story/Originality: I give the game a rating of 8 out of 10 at this section. Sniper X with Jason Statham has a background and a decent story. You are the elite marksman trained by Statham himself and you need to rescue different occupied countries or prevent different wars. The difficulty of the game gradually increases so you will not encounter impossible missions or anything like that. Also, there are no hidden mechanisms and your weapon’s level increases each time you upgrade it no matter what upgrade you decide to make.

Addictiveness: I give Sniper X with Jason Statham a rating of 8 out of 10 for its addictiveness. The game has most of the required elements to be considered addictive (a character progression, a campaign, different game modes and so on) so you will definitely play it for a decent amount of time. However, it is a single-player title with no features such as daily rewards or achievements and you will eventually get bored of Statham’s voice. There is still room for improvement.
