Darkness Reborn, available on Android and iOS, is a well oiled and surprisingly beautiful hack and slash RPG. Unlike many other apps that try and emulate games of a PC calibre, Darkness Reborn comes into the fray with something that looks and plays like a blockbuster PC game. With it’s efficient use of the touch screen through the use of a dynamic joy stick rather than a static one, Darkness Reborn is easy to control, and doesn’t make the player feel like their ability to control the hero is limited. You can touch your left thumb on any part of the bottom left of the screen to use the joystick, which takes away the need for you to check the placement of your thumb during gameplay. Attacks are performed with the use of five buttons on the bottom right of the screen, the biggest being your standard attack, and the four buttons surrounding it used for your skills. This is a great system for skill use, and since there is no joystick on the left side of the screen, the screen doesn’t seem cramped by the HUD. The game also comes with an interesting and engaging story line.
Besides the quite expansive number single player stages filled with enemies for you to clear on the world map, Darkness Reborn also offers a 3v3 player versus player system, and a party system for boss raiding, so there’s a lot of options to play with friends, or with some of the other 25 million players that have already joined! The dungeon raiding area of the game is regularly updated with new boss raids, so don’t worry about running out of content. Choose between four classes; Warrior, Kunoichi (an assassin type), Mage and Daemon Hunter and customise your character with unique weapons, armour and skill builds to start slaying. With over 1200 combinations of skills, you won’t be left wanting for more.
Darkness Reborn is a very fun action RPG game, but you will quickly find you need a lot of gold, SOL, and mana to progress in this game. You can get the gold, SOL, and mana through the app store, but this costs real money, and this is something that gets expensive quickly. Since this game is so fun and addictive, we have decided to add Darkness Reborn to our hack database, which means you can get unlimited amounts of gold, SOL, and mana just by downloading our hack tool.
Look at the picture below to see just how easy our hack tool is to use, with a simple options menu that allows you to input how many of each item you want to add to your account.
The first thing you need to do is download our Darkness Reborn hack tool, which takes about 30 seconds. The hack will automatically install after downloading, which takes about 30 seconds to complete. You then will need to choose Android or iOS depending on which device you are using. You will need to simply input how many of each of these items you want to add to your account.
Click “Start” to run the hack tool, which will take about 40 seconds or less to finish. Once that has finished, you can open up Darkness Reborn as usual and you will notice the two items are already in your account. By downloading and installing our free hack tool, you will never have to buy anything from the app store again.
Darkness Reborn is easy to play, but hard to master. Being an RPG, there are many different skills that you can choose to build on your hero, and many different combinations of armour and weapons. If you’re not experienced with other RPG titles, this may seem a little confusing at first. Luckily Darkness Reborn comes ready fit with a seamless tutorial to get you into the action without much trouble. If you’re still having some trouble, the community in this game is quite large, so you won’t have much trouble finding some videos/tutorials online. If you still need some time getting on your feet, let us help you with some of these tips:
1. Try and specify which enemies you’re targeting and choose enemies that are dealing a lot of damage to you to get rid of first.
2. Build your character to your own specifications. Don’t listen to others, whatever works and is most comfortable for you as a player is the best option.
3. Keep moving! Use the AI to your advantage and be quicker than them. Dodging attacks is imperative to staying alive.
If you remember these simple tips, you’ll be pummelling your way through hoards of enemies and smashing bosses in no time!
Darkness Reborn is an RPG hack and slash that will impress anyone who is familiar with the majority of app games in the same genre. The look of the game alone is enough to get anyone to give it a go. With beautiful landscapes and great looking character design, the developers have definitely put a lot of time into making this game look so good.
But this game doesn’t just deliver in graphics, but also comes in strongly with it’s ease of hero control. The use of a dynamic joystick (so you are able to place your thumb on a large area of the bottom left screen to use it) rather than a static one which you have to continually look at really brings the game into it’s own, giving the player the feel of playing with a controller without cramping the entire screen like many similar games available on mobile phones and tablets. The buttons used on the right of the screen for attacking and skill use are also quite intuitive, and I was surprised by how fluidly you can dispatch enemies when you get used to the controls.
Darkness Reborn also boasts an expansive character customisation system, with over 1,200 skill combinations and hundreds of armour and weapon combinations. This is one of the best aspects of the game, as so many app RPG’s fall short of players expectations in character customisation. I chose the Mage character to play with, and as I started to blow through enemy waves and complete the stages on the world map, I found the game ramping up in difficulty as I grew in skill. The incline isn’t too steep though, and with a pretty nice tutorial at the start that doesn’t bombard you with options to buy in game money, the game panders to players of all skill levels.
The basic part of the game involves moving through stages on a world map type screen, trying to clear them of enemies as fast as possible and hopefully grabbing the three stars at the end.
When players become more experienced, they can try out the player versus player or party raid boss modes. These modes are both quite a lot of fun, the party raids definitely shining as the best part of the game. However, the PvP system comes up a little short, as low level players will find themselves being matched against much higher level players and may begin to lose hope when they start losing often. I also found that during PvP and boss raids the game would sometimes have a hard time running, and my ping was quite high. If you have enough skill to get through those tough PvP battles and aren’t lagging so much you can’t play, the modes themselves are a ton of fun.
Overall, Darkness Reborn is a game that you’ll be thankful you downloaded. Besides being a great example of how an RPG should be done on mobile operating systems, Darkness Reborn looks amazing, and won’t disappoint if you’re looking for a fun game to play with friends on your phone.

Music & SFX: 7/10 I give Darkness Reborn a 7/10 for Music & SFX. Not a lot of music to speak of, but what is there is quite nicely made, and the sounds that you’ll hear while fighting will hype you up for battle.
