Additionally, Hollywood U: College Story has two types of currency, Diamonds and Cash. Both can be earned within the game itself, however, it is at a very slow pace. Huge amounts of Diamonds are needed to complete a majority of the games side quests, and getting a huge amount usually requires you to buy it as an in-app purchase.
Sadly, there is no way to restart the game, which might put off players who would prefer to try out different character types.
Additionally, male characters have lesser customisation as compared to the female characters, which may put off players who prefer to play as a male character.

I would give Hollywood U: College Story a rating of 6/10 based on artwork. In my opinion I like this artwork because this reminds me of a game I have been playing since my childhood. And that game that we may know is called The Sims. This game reminds me of like the game Sims because the graphics are similar to this game. The faces, and the actions, as well as traits all are similar to Sims. Even clothes, hairstyle, eye color, as well as nose are putted into this for customization. Another game is actually a game I have written a review for. That game is by from the same studio. Pixel berry studios have made similar games.
The other game I have putted a review for is known as High school Story. Like Holly Wood U: College Story, High school story is a similar background. “The Story starts off as how you come in, and what occurs is that a new high school has just opened and you are one of the people who are in charge of the land given. Next up this connects to the music. Where the music blends in and creates a smooth imagination if you close your eyes. But none the less the story is very unique!” This was written for the High school story, but although this seems the same storyline as background. The artwork here has somewhat decreased.
The reason I say that is because I observed that there is a slight difference towards the artwork. Although the wordings of the words spoken by the characters you meet have fancy wordings and letters. None the less I think in my general opinion that this game in app, Hollywood U: College Story isn’t as good as the other games they have produced. In conclusion this is why I gave Hollywood U: College Story a lower rating then usual.
Music and SFX
I would give Hollywood U: College Story, a total rating of 8/10. I give this section a good rating due to the fact that the music’s a combination of pop music and hip-hop music. The music gives you a background where you want to dance, also feeling like Hollywood itself. This is exactly why the rating for the music section is a lot higher. This gives you a general background of how you know that the producer has spent time on.
Although the music in my opinion doesn’t sound really HD, or as they may say, it does not sound as fresh. They are on the right track. The music also sidetracks or changes when you are on certain points, such as naming the new director, actor, and so on. Your choices are very important in these types of games. Your opinion as well as your wisdom. Like High school story I said the following . “There are effects and sounds for each move you do, like for example when you place a cottage, you are able to indicate that you have actually placed something due to the fact of a small sound effect.
There is also other numerous sound effects such as when you finish enrolling a student, or when a construction of a building is complete.” I must agree with this due to the fact that both game’s music provide a smooth music. The story is basically nice and simple like the other game Pixel Berry has made, known as High school story. “ The hottest new star in Hollywood is … You! Congratulations! You’ve just been accepted to Hollywood University, the school for stars. Pack your bags, because fame, fortune and romance awaits!” Some other features they state in the description is choosing your path to fame, dress for the red carpet in dozens of high fashion gowns and on-trend outfits, date celebrities and ongoing dates that build your relationship, make blockbusters movies showing Hollywood why you belong on the A-list, building entourage and having immersive ongoing narrative penned by the best writing team in mobile gaming.”
As stated, they have added a lot more features than the last game they had produced proving that they have focused and read the suggestions the people who have played and reviewed this app. They have read the suggestions and improved a whole lot in my opinion. The originality is still the same due to the fact that they were even able create a second game like this such as like High school story. Hollywood U: College Story is another game that is such like High school story. Like said before, the producer was able to create a new game based on similar games who have been pastly realized. Such as the game we all know “The Sims”.
We may all know that this game is a really popular game, as for the EA company. Our imaginations were mind blowing when we found out that we were able to have Sims play as like a normal human being. In conclusion this is why I would give Hollywood U: College Story a total of a rating of 7/10.
General gameplay
For general gameplay, I would give Hollywood U: College Story a total rating of 8/10. You may as why how come for all of the ratings for this section of the game would be the same average ratings you would normally see. You start off as a new person into a town. What occurs is that you turn out to see someone who you start off with and whom you are able to use. Her name is Allison. The fancy of the words are once again very fancy. You really do feel as if you are in Hollywood due to the fact that the place in real life is really famous and because there are a lot of celebrities there. Although Hollywood U: College Story seems similar or somewhat the same as High school story, this game has it’s own special features.
You are yes, able to build certain buildings once again like the other game, but you must also know that you are able to do quests that are different from High school story. This game has its features such as dating celebrities you may not even imagine. And like the other game “The Sims” this game requires time If you happen to date a celebrity, or else the celebrity or your so called date will slowly lose the connection and you will break up soon. Next is how you are able to train you characters. I find it weird that the characters you have are able to level up. I find it really confusing, such as why do the characters have to level up? Do you gain special times and other useful items? Because in my opinion, I do not really recall in real life we have a special ability so called leveling up. I find that odd and confusing but I still have to say the general gameplay is a bit boring at sometimes as well. None the less, that is all of my general opinion.
I was never really interested in these types of games except for “ The Sims “ and with that being said I am sure other people who have played the game that is kind of like the sequel “ High school story” will find interest once again on the newly developed game that have made as well as improved game. Hollywood U: College Story is a interesting game. And in my opinion I would suggest this out to anyone who is interested in this genre typed based games. In conclusion this is why I gave Hollywood U: College Story a total rating of 8/10. This game has its own beneficial and adventure to seek. I would give Hollywood U: College Story a rating of 7/10, because of the fact that they were able to make this type of game on mobile itself is already a high standard rating. The reason the this rating dropped by one, is because I have played games like this in the past. But that is on computer. And have not played it as an app. I personally have played enough of these types of games, because not a lot of producers that made these types of games in the past have been really successful. I have Had lost faith in most of them, but seeing that they were able to make a successful game like this towards in an app surprises me. In general conclusion I find this game decent in terms of addictiveness, but it does get annoying at some point. In conclusion I would give this game a rating of 7/10.
