If you enjoy racing games where you can play on a lot of different courses, face a lot of different opponents and prove to them that you are the best street racer in the world, than Raging Thunder 2 is just the game for you. Raging Thunder 2 has been developed and successfully released by game developer Polarbit, and is very popular among racing game enthusiasts.
The game has been downloaded over an astonishing number of ten million times in 2016 with a whopping rating of 4.3 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 3.5 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. Raging Thunder 2 is free to download and play on both Android and iOS devices and does not require an internet connection to play, unless you want to play in the multiplayer game mode.
Just like all the other racing games, the goal in Raging Thunder 2 is to finish first in each and every race. Even though that might sound easy, it is actually pretty difficult to achieve. There are two different main game modes in Raging Thunder 2, which are the Single Player and Multiplayer game modes. The Single Player game mode has six different sub game modes, which are called Time Attack, Survival, Career, Instant Race, Single Race and Arcade.

In the Survival game mode, the player that is last on each lap gets eliminated. Your goal is to not be the last, and continue racing until all of the other racers get eliminated. In the Instant Race game mode, you will race a random stage with a random car. In the Single Race game mode, you will race a single stage against AI opponents. In the Arcade game mode, you will play through all stages, but your goal is to not let the timer reach zero.
Perhaps the most important single player game mode is the Career Mode, in which you need to participate in eight different cups, in order to become the world’s best racer. In this game mode, you will also have the opportunity to purchase new race cars and upgrade them. Each car in Raging Thunder 2 has four attributes, which determine how fast and powerful the car is. The four attributes are called Speed, Acceleration, Grip and Armor. You can upgrade your cars by going to the garage, and purchasing new parts for your car. Each car can only hold a certain amount of upgrades, after which you either will have to purchase a better car, or you will have to race with the current car that you own.
Before you can participate in the multiplayer game mode, you first need to create a network account. This means that you need to register an account by typing your name, email and password. You can also use your Facebook account to participate in the multiplayer game mode. In the multiplayer game mode, you will be able to race against random players around the world, or against your friends, should you decide to log in with your Facebook account.
Raging Thunder 2 also has achievements in it, in which you can see your top speed, longest jump, and your fastest times for each race. You will also be able to earn achievements by completing certain cups in the Career Mode of the game. If you wish to see the best times of other players, you can do so by tapping on the Global Results button.
Raging Thunder 2 In-game store
There is only one kind of currency in Raging Thunder 2, which is in the form of in-game cash. You can easily obtain in-game cash by playing in the Career Mode of the game and winning races. You can then use your in-game cash to purchase different kinds of racecars and upgrade the racecars that you already own. As far as I can tell, there is no way to purchase in-game cash with real money, which means that you will have to play the game to collect in-game cash.
There are six different racecars in Raging Thunder 2, of which the first one is already unlocked for you. In order to unlock the other five racecars, you will have to purchase them with in-game cash. You can increase your racecars Speed, Acceleration, Grip and Armor by upgrading its Body, Engine, Wheels and Wings. There are several options available for each part of your racecar, and the more in-game cash you spend on your racecar, the better it will perform during a race.
Raging Thunder 2 has a lot of advertisements implemented in it, which come in the form of banners and random pop-ups. The developers give you an option to remove all of the advertisements in Raging Thunder 2 by purchasing the “Remove Ads” item for $1,99.
There are a lot of websites on the internet that claim they have working cheat tools, hack tools or mods for Raging Thunder 2, which you can allegedly use to give yourself an unlimited amount of in-game cash. By giving yourself an unlimited amount of in-game cash, you would be able to purchase all of the racecars and upgrade them fully. Unfortunately, the websites that offer such tools are only out to trick people into filling in surveys, which generates an income for the owners of those websites.
A lot of people are willing to fill in a survey, just so that they will be able to download the so called cheat tools, and use them to cheat in their favorite mobile games. Once you have filled in a survey and downloaded the so called cheat tool, you will quickly find out that you have been duped, and that the documents you have just downloaded are corrupted. You will not be able to unpack those documents, because the owners of the fake cheat tool websites made sure that the contents of those documents are nothing but empty shells. Instead of wasting your time, trying to find working cheats for Raging Thunder 2, I will give you some tips and tricks that will help you with your gameplay.
Raging Thunder 2 Gameplay Tips and Tricks
Upgrading your racecar in Raging Thunder 2 is very important, especially if you want to have a chance at first place. At the beginning of the gameplay, your racecar will already be fast enough to beat all of your opponents, which means that you should definitely not waste any in-game cash on upgrading your first car.
After you have played the game for a while and cleared several stages, you will notice that your opponents keep getting better, and it becomes more and more difficult to beat them. That would be the correct time to purchase a higher tier racecar, and start upgrading that racecar. Because of the fact that you didn’t waste any in-game cash on your first racecar, you will have enough in-game cash to purchase a way better racecar, and you will even be able to upgrade it. This way, you will be able to continue racing against much tougher opponents, and actually beat them with ease.
When you start playing Raging Thunder 2, you will quickly notice that the developers have implemented a lot of advertisements into the game. The advertisements come in the form of banners, which always stay on the screen, and pop-ups, which randomly show up.
The advertisements in Raging Thunder 2 are annoying and obstructive, and the developers did this on purpose, just so that people would spend $1,99 to remove them. Fortunately, I know a little trick that will allow you to remove all of the advertisements in Raging Thunder 2, without you having to spend a single dime on the game.
For starters, you need to make sure that Raging Thunder 2 is completely closed down, and that it is also not running in the background. After that, you need to turn on Airplane Mode on your mobile device. Once Airplane Mode is turned on, your mobile device will be disconnected from any kind of internet connection, such as 3G/4G and Wi-Fi.
When you start Raging Thunder 2 now, you will notice that there are no more advertisements in the game, due to the fact that the game needs an internet connection, in order to be able to push advertisements onto your device. Once you are done playing Raging Thunder 2, you can turn off Airplane Mode and use your mobile device as you have been before.
Before I started playing Raging Thunder 2, I read the game description and looked at the screenshots, and I was pretty excited to play the game. I am truly amazed about the fact that Raging Thunder 2 has so many different game modes, all of which are really entertaining, especially if you enjoy racing games. The graphics in Raging Thunder 2 are pretty decent, especially considering that it is a mobile game. I really like the fact that there are several different racecars available for you to unlock and race in, and that you can actually upgrade all of your racecars, making them more damage resistant and faster.
Raging Thunder 2 has a lot of very nice features and game modes in it, and is a very balanced game, but unfortunately it also has several negative aspects. For starters, the developers of Raging Thunder 2 have implement a lot of annoying and obstructive advertisements into the game.
The advertisements come in the form of banners and pop-ups, which show up randomly, making it feel like the developers are trying to trick you into accidently tapping on them. It is understandable when free-to-play mobile games have advertisements in them, because the developers need to generate an income for their time and effort. However, they should always think about ad-placement and never go overboard when it comes to advertisements.
Right now, it feels like the developers of Raging Thunder 2 are trying to force people into paying $1,99 to remove all of the advertisements from the game. The reason why it feels forced is because the advertisements are really annoying and obstructive. The worst part about the advertisements in Raging Thunder 2 is that, if you accidently do tap on one of them, the game will minimalize itself and your browser will start up. The developers should really stop punishing their loyal players with silly advertisements like this, and allow them to play the game without getting bothered and annoyed.
The second negative aspect about Raging Thunder 2 is that you cannot change multiplayer servers, which means that you might get matched with random players from all around the world. This can cause a lot of lag spikes and high latencies, which basically ruins the gameplay in my opinion. Perhaps the developers should look into a different kind of matchmaking for 2016, which only matches players that are close to each other.
Raging Thunder 2 Ratings
Artwork: I give Raging Thunder 2 an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics in Raging Thunder 2 are pretty decent, especially because of the fact that they look similar to early Need for Speed games. I used to be a big fan of Need for Speed games, and I am happy to see that there are still developers out there that take their time and put a lot of effort into the graphics of their games.
There are a lot of animations and special effects in Raging Thunder 2, which make the game feel more alive. The special effects range from you picking up a booster, seeing flames coming out of your exhausts and your racecar being on fire. I really like the fact that there are many different stages in the game, because you will be able to race in different environments and face different obstacles because of this.
Music & SFX: I give Raging Thunder 2 an 8/10 for its music and SFX. There are several different soundtracks in Raging Thunder 2, which are of decent quality as well. I really like the fact that the soundtracks change, depending on where you are in the game. There are a lot of different sound effects in Raging Thunder 2, which range from menu button SFX to crashing SFX. In my opinion, the developers did a very nice job at combining the music and SFX with the graphics and animations of the game, making them fit nicely together.
Story & Originality: I give Raging Thunder 2 an 8/10 for its story and originality. There are a lot of racing games available on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store, and I have played several of them over the years, but I would still say that Raging Thunder 2 is a very original game. This is due to the fact that the developers have implemented a lot of different game modes into the game, which I have not seen before in any other racing game.
Usually, racing games only have a single player and multiplayer game mode, but Raging Thunder 2 has a lot of different single player game modes, and even a multiplayer game mode. Raging Thunder 2 does not have a story behind it, but I feel like a racing game does not really need one anyways.
General Gameplay: I give Raging Thunder 2 an 8/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay in Raging Thunder 2 starts with a tutorial stage, in which you will learn how to properly control your racecar, how to use your booster and how to successfully finish the race on first place. After you have played Raging Thunder 2 for a while, the gameplay will become pretty straightforward, but luckily there are a lot of different game modes, which keeps the gameplay entertaining and exciting. The controls are very responsive and smooth, which is important for a racing game. The user interface is crisp and clear and fits with the overall theme of the game.
Addictiveness: I give Raging Thunder 2 a 7/10 for addictiveness. I really like the fact that Raging Thunder 2 does not have any playtime limitations in it, which means that you can play all of the game modes whenever you want and for however long you want, which definitely raises the overall addictiveness of the game.
Unfortunately, the developers implemented a lot of advertisements into the game, which are really obstructive and annoying. Perhaps if the developers did not implement any kind of advertisements into the game, the addictiveness would have been much higher, and I am very certain that a lot of people agree with me.
All things considered, I give Raging Thunder 2 an 8/10.
