Truck Simulator 3D Cheats & Hack for Free Money & Trucks

Truck Simulator 3D Cheats & Tips for Money & All Trucks Unlock

Today I have brought you guys a game whose category is totally new for me, and it isn’t just about reviewing but also about playing. Prior to this game I never tried any of its kind because the category’s name lacked the attraction required to take me away from the love of FPS and Racing games, even just for the sake of trying. The name of today’s game is Truck Simulator 3D, and it belongs to, as it name suggest, vehicle and simulation category. For those who doesn’t know, simulation means replicating a real life environment or a scenario for any purpose where the use of real system is impractical or impossible, but of course you cannot simply expect a total replication from games or can you?

Developer of Truck Simulator 3D is Ovidiu Pop. This game was launched back in 2013 and has been downloaded more than ten million times, maybe that’s the reason why the developer is still providing support and updates for this game. Even before Truck Simulator 3D, Ovidiu Pop had few other simulation games to their name, for example, Euro Truck Parking, but they received mix reviews from users, and there are many new titles launched after Truck Simulator 3D too, but I’ll forget for a while that there are new 2016 games from the developer, consider this as a new addition to their line, and try to get down to its core. Get it on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store now.

Truck Simulator 3D places users on the seat of a truck driver and targets towards providing something close to a real life truck driving experience, and certainly just because of impressive and interactive artwork of the main menu, maybe for a while, I felt that this game might live upto its target.

Truck Simulator 3D Gameplay

The map of this game features fourteen American cities, for example, Miami and Seattle, and users have free will to choose their starting city. Just like a truck driver, user will take a trailer from a dock and get it delivered to different points across the map. Every city has its own docking station so that user can pick a trailer from any city and the delivery point will be in another city.

As this is a simulation game, it is bound to have factors that affects driving in real life, and almost all of them are visible on the UI which a user gets during gameplay. Unlike normal vehicle or car games, fuel isn’t unlimited in this one and users have to stop at fuel stations for a refill. Fueling stations can be recognized on the map by their blue icon. There are few goofs in fueling system, for example, it doesn’t matter if truck is still or moving, fuel will continue to drain at a constant speed, and just like draining speed, price of refill also remains same, it doesn’t matter if fuel tank is slightly or completely empty. Other than fueling, there is Fatigue and Damage.

Users will have to rest by taking a six hours sleep so that they don’t get tired, which is indicated by Fatigue level. Sleeping places are indicated on map by an orange icon and they will always be close to fueling stations. Truck can also get damaged by collision and as a result top speed decreases. Repairing shops are indicated by a red marker on the map, and again the price remains same for complete or partial damage. Damage and Fatigue both have indicators, which will turn from green to red indicating the need to stop or not. Other than these there is a map too and an green line will help users to spot the delivery point.

There are three different controlling options available for users. Default is tilting but it can be changed from the options menu. In tilting, steering is controlled by gyro sensors but gearing system, acceleration and braking is controlled manually. Pressing brake will not move the truck in reverse direction, users have to change gear of truck. Next control option is Buttons, the only difference about tilting and this one is that instead of gyro steering is controlled by buttons, which are on left side of the screen. In the last control option the steering buttons are replaced by a Steering Wheel. Sensitivity of all these controls can be adjusted from the options menu, and I think it will be better to increase the sensitivity by one third bar because with the default sensitivity controlling is hectic. I didn’t like the controls that much but again it depends upon the user.

Other than the basic controls mentioned previously, there are button for indicator lights, horn, high and low beam, cruise control, view angle, and a speedometer. Pressing indicator lights’ button will turn them on and to turn them off users will have to press them again. Presence of beam means that there’s a complete day and night cycle, which is a nice addition.

Users will have a bank balance of twenty thousand dollars at the starting of the game, and can earn more by completing deliveries or lose even more by canceling them. Every trailer has its own job value, which is more for greater distances. Users can check the job value, cancel job cost, and destination of their current trailer from the pause menu.

Delivery isn’t easy as it seems, primarily because of the travelling length, secondly due to speed limitation near police cars, thirdly not enough top speed, and lastly due to various bugs. On average it took me approximately twenty minutes to complete a delivery.

I expected many driving rules but yet I’ve found only one and that is whenever a user exceeds speed limits near police cars, a fine of five hundred dollars is imposed, and this is the point where cruise control kicks in, user can reach a specific speed and activate cruise control to drive at that constant speed without the need of acceleration button.

Truck Simulator 3D features decent customization options. Customization section too is in pause menu. Users can close from eight different trucks, and HP is the major distinguishing factor between them. Instead of purchasing new costly truck, users can upgrade Engine level, Tires Quality, Transmission of your current truck. Each of these upgradables has three levels and by default truck in on level one. There is an appearance tab too in customization section, which contains ten colors with additional options for installing lights and bullbar. Users can change color of truck without any fee while lights and bullbar costs small amount. These Lights and Bullbar are just for show, they don’t have any affect on health or light intensity during night. These addons can be removed and doing it will return the money spent on them.

Trucks and upgrades are expensive but the job money should be enough to purchase them but there are in-app purchases available if user isn’t willing to spend time on completing jobs to get hold on these things. Normally there are two currencies but in this game there is just one, and there are just two packages available for it. First and cheapest package costs 0.99€ and gives two hundred thousand in-game dollars in return. Second and the last package costs 2.99€ and it fills up balance by half a million dollars, and also removes extremely annoying ads. While purchasing in-game currencies can give users flexibility to upgrade vehicle and if users are interested only in Trucks then they can unlock all of them for just 2.99€ and this purchase too will remove ads. There is also a standalone purchase available to remove ads only and it costs 0.99€.

The version of Truck Simulator 3D used to review is 2.0.0, which was released on July 20, 2015. This version is tiresomely buggy, for example, sometimes trailer wouldn’t attach properly and will only align if user save and reload the game, I also faced map navigation calibration issues, and the most annoying bug was that if user tries to take shortcut by taking their truck off-road or sometimes even goes off-road accidently, the truck will fall ‘inside’ the map leaving no choice except to reload previous saved game or use rescue option from pause menu which resets truck position and rescue isn’t free, and the last issue which I remember is frequent force shutdowns especially while visiting leaderboards.

This game is available for Android and Apple devices. Minimum OS requirement is Android 2.2 (Froyo) or iOS 5.1.1, which might look humble but for a smooth and lag-free gameplay, a device with a decent processor and one gigabyte of ram is required, hence new, even low-end, devices will not face any issue but outdated ones will struggle.

Truck Simulator 3D does support synchronization with Google Play Games but I faced trouble while doing that. There are twenty achievements available, making more than eight thousand experience points available to users. These achievements range from completing first job till unlocking any specific truck.

I forgot to mention one thing previously that users can save and load their game at any instant without paying even a single penny.

Cheats & Tips for Truck Simulator 3D

It’s been almost two years since the game is in the market and above all it is one of the most downloaded games on Google Play Store; hence a modified version was inevitable, and I can confirm that there is modified version for Android but cannot say the same for iOS. This modified version will give users unlimited amount of money and ad free environment without paying even a single penny. Installing the modified version is easy, all users have to do is use Google to locate the modified version, remove the original version, enable installation from unknown sources on their devices, and enjoy the game if they think it’s enjoyable.

The only tip I think might be useful is that users can do rest at night and resume driving during daytime as driving is difficult at night.

Truck Simulator Review

I’ll start this review with a statement that it’s been two years and this game still requires too much work on almost every department. As previously mentioned, the initial impression was more than just good and I expected too much from it but this game failed to live upto expectations in every sense. The artwork looks decent when the truck is still but once user starts journey, the initial impression gets ruined!!! Map has plenty of detail but there is micro-shuttering in the geometry, buildings appear late, and whenever users enters into a new city, gameplay pauses and takes time to load the new city. Although I liked the color scheme, which might be dull for few and resembles to GTA San Andreas, and above all I loved the sky’s gradual color change but these aren’t enough to ignore the issues mentioned previously.

The gameplay could have been a lot better than what it actually is. The biggest complaint is the length of the job, and because of this length, game loses attraction. Why a person would spend his time on aimlessly driving a truck?? And a truck which cannot even blow a small traffic cone out of its way? How a truck can fall inside the surface? And what is the purpose of rescue option? Maybe the developers knew about the issue but they couldn’t counter it; hence they came up with rescue to reset truck’s position. There are too many goofs, which removes appeal if there was any. As I’ve mentioned previously that there are three controls to choose from but this flexibility isn’t helpful and controlling truck isn’t easy. User can accidentally change the view angle while using steering buttons, and it’s difficult to keep a track on them. Developers should have gone for floating pad rather than fixed.

The User Interface, just like the gameplay, isn’t very helpful, there isn’t any graphical attraction nor any ease of access. Although there is a complete map available in the pause menu but there should have been option to completely zoom out the small map, which comes during gameplay. Another issue is that users cannot change their controls without stopping the game.

The sound & SFX department isn’t any exception. The main menu’s background track is loud, harsh, and gives feelings of being from 90’s game, but sound effects during gameplay are slightly above average. Users will hear all kind of basic truck’s sounds, for example, horn, engine ignition, reversing etc. but they shouldn’t expect much details. Country music during driving could have improved the overall gameplay experience but licensing soundtracks isn’t cheap, maybe that’s why there isn’t any.

My final verdict is that this game isn’t groundbreaking in anyway, it’s just an average driving game without any attractive missions or tasks. There are too many bugs in this game and I’m damn sure that developer isn’t thinking to fix them as this game is already in market from two years. It’s not one of those games that I’ll highly recommend to anyone for 2016, and certainly I’ll feel ashamed if I call this game a simulator, which it tried to be but failed badly.

Ratings

Artwork: I’ll give Truck Simulator 3D a 7/10 for its artwork. As I have told previously, artwork is decent, I loved the color of the sky during night, which gives cinematic feeling. I’m not saying details aren’t there but micro shuttering, late appearing, and mostly time required to load new city completely ruins the mood of the game. Truck falling ‘inside’ the ground won’t be an issue until user stays on track but a small mistake and you’ll have to start your saved game again. Developers need to look into these issues to achieve better rating.

Music & SFX: Truck driver gets a 6.5/10 here. Other than sounds related to truck, everything is simple and without details. In this modern era, this game’s soundtrack and music isn’t any better than games from decades ago.

Story & Originality: I’ll give Truck Simulator 3D a 7/10 for its story and originality. This rating is seven just because of originality otherwise I would have given it even lower as there isn’t any kind of story!!! All users have is to do is to become the best truck driver in the world by wasting their time on never ending jobs?

General Gameplay: I’ll give this game a 6/10 for the sarcastically awesome experience it provides. The gameplay could have been normal at least if it wasn’t for annoying ads, coupled with tons of issues, poor driving controls, poor game mechanics and many other things badly destroyed the gameplay. Seriously it gives the feeling of developer being a new-bee in gaming market.

Addictiveness: Truck Simulator 3D gets a 4/10 for its addictiveness. The two major things that are affecting this department are length of the jobs and their repetitiveness, although there are other issues too, which have been mentioned previously, but these two are the major reason why I couldn’t play this game for more than couple of hours before reviewing.

Overall I’ll give Truck Simulator 3D a 6.5/10.
