You can earn CP by DJ’ing as well. Every time you DJ your choice of songs will be rated by the audience and based on your performance you can earn xp and cp. XP is earned by your character and it determines what level they are. There doesn’t seem to be much benefit to xp except that it unlocks some features in the game. For example, in certain DJ rooms you have to be at least level 20 just to start playing music. You can also earn xp and cp by accepting jobs.
All in all Club Cooee was a fun chat room with a lot of customization options. Still, it felt more like a chat room than a game, a lot more can be done to improve the gaming aspects of Club Cooee in 2016. Also, as an English speaker it felt like there weren’t that many of us, Club Cooee was far more populated with Brazilians, Germans, Eastern Europeans, and Portuguese, than English speakers.
I was impressed by how smoothly it ran, the quick load speeds, and the quality of the external application, this definitely gave it a leg up on the competition. Even though I was running this game on a laptop computer on a Wi-Fi connection, I had no issues with glitching, poor connections, or non-responsiveness. One of my favorite aspects of Club Cooee was the community around it. Every time you walk into a room you are greeted, also it seems like other members are always willing to help out a newbie. Overall it’s a fun program for chatting but definitely not much of a game in the traditional sense although there are some gaming elements.
