IDAC, the renowned developers of escape the room game have launched recently Escape: A Year-Old Promise, and I managed to beat the game and I am here to share with you an Escape: A Year-Old Promise walkthrough to help you solve all the challenges in the game and be able to beat it in no time.
As this is a very difficult game and a lot of puzzles are tricky and hard to guess, I have decided to share the Escape: A Year-Old Promise walkthrough with you. Have fun reading it and finishing the game with its help!
1. Tap the shelves and open the bottom drawer. Note the messages (tap to read the second page).
2. Go right twice and tap the table. Open the menu for a hint: There is orange juice in the fridge. It opens with Bobby’s country.
3. Go left and go behind the bar. Tap the fridge and enter the country code (BRAZIL) and get orange juice. Note that you must write it ALL CAPS!
4. Go back and left and tap the doors. Tap the middle glass for code. But you have to look at your bottle in the inventory (double tap, then turn) to see the order for the correct code. From the arrows, the code is 8398.
5. Go back and tap the furniture piece near the fridge. Enter the code and get a handle.
6. Go back twice and tap the middle chair. Read the note in the envelope for the color code (red, white, orange, green).
7. Go back and twice to the right and tap the shelves to zoom in on the big jug. Tap again and check out the piece of paper inside. OH, my! But using the clue of colors, we start with red (M), continue with white on the same route (O), then orange (C) and finally we end with green (which is A, not S). So our code is MOCA.
8. Go back and left, get behind the bar and tap the furniture near the fridge, this time the blue one. Enter the code (again, all caps) and get a bamboo spatula.
9. Go back twice and once to the right and tap the paintings to the left. Tap the white painting in the lower left and you will find something in the back. Use the spatula, then go back and pick up the code for flowers.
10. Go back twice and zoom in on the paintings again. Tap the painting of a red flower, then tap the bolts in the order shown by the piece of paper. Tap upper left and upper right ones ONCE, then bottom left one twice and bottom right once. Tap the painting and get the mug.
11. Now go back and right and zoom in on the table in the middle. Tap the glass to remove it and get the blue anchor.
12. Go back and three times to the left and zoom in on the drawers. Put the anchor there and open the top drawer. Get the small red key. Tap the end of the drawer again and you will see a code – square, X, M, O, rhomboid, D
13. Go back and right twice and tap the shelves. There is a Month/Day puzzle to solve. Look at the book below and you will see that the square is 1.
14. Now all we have to do is to find the other symbols and see what they mean and we’ll have the code. X is one (table), O is 2 (near chair), rhomboid is 6 and so our code for the puzzle with month/day is 11 26. Get the blue key.
15. Go right and tap the right side of the bar. Use the handle with the holes there and open to get a glass. Pour the orange juice in the glass and take the green key from inside the bottle!
