As you found out in my review, I am a big fan of Royal Revolt and I have spent a few good hours playing the game and trying all sort of different strategies. I am going to share with you the ones that worked the best in this article with Royal Revolt tips and tricks that will help you get your kingdom back as fast as possible and finish all those levels with three star ratings.

1. Soldiers are the base of your attacks! As strange as that might sound, soldiers are the most important weapon you have because they are the easiest to summon and you will win by having sheer numbers. So keep upgrading your soldiers before anything else.
2. Rush with soldiers first – since they are the easiest to get, get an army of them after the level starts – wait about 5 seconds, then summon as many as you can, then charge. Then, keep summoning soldiers before you get too far away from the castle and you’ll have a decent army already!
3. Mages over Archers. Although you unlock them only after the 11th missions, Mages are better long range units than archers, so don’t focus too much on upgrading the archers, even though they are cheaper. 2 mages are far better than 4 archers!
4. How to get more coins in Royal Revolt?
One easy way to do it is to make sure that you get three star ratings on your completed levels – daily you will receive a bonus based on the number of stars you have, and the more you have, the bigger the bonus. Also a solid strategy to get more coins in the game is to replay older levels and complete them fast for some quick money.
5. What spells to use
Although I haven’t gone very far with the spells, healing is the obvious one to keep around and upgrade as much as possible because it helps you get big masses of soldiers together. The freeze spell always works pretty good in my strategies, but also the simple fireball can to wonders.
6. Try to charge with your hero first
It might sound insane, but in some cases it does the trick. Let your soldiers fight a tower on their own and you go forward, blasting fireballs or freezing the enemies. This way you win a bit of momentum and your troops will stack up more.
7. Call your troops
Use the button to call your troops (your Hero’s icon in the top left part of the screen). A good moment to do it is about half way through – simply move back with your hero for a few seconds, then call your troops. Those who are in front will come back and have a chance to group with the reinforcements.
8. Don’t rush through the levels
It’s better to complete all levels on three stars rather than progress and get 1 star ratings. You get more coins and rewards for the three stars rather than simply wasting a lot of time and barely finishing the missions. This is a game that puts no pressure on you to complete it as fast as possible, so be patient!
