Jurassic Park Builder Tips and Tricks

Can I see a show of hands of how many people read my review of Jurassic Park Builder? Well if you have not, you can find the link by clicking here. As you can see from my review, I am a big fan of this game so I will be attempting to give you some tips and tricks to help you progress in this prehistoric age of dinosaurs. If you are having trouble earning enough money to research and expand, hopefully this guide will give you that little bit of boost and motivation to continue chugging along, as this is one of my favorite games and the developer has been constantly expanding the game since its release.

Code Red!

Since the beginning of time, after you have amassed enough carnivorous dinosaurs, you are able to activate the Code Red function. This feature will cause all the carnivores to go berserk and attempt to break out of their constraints. Luckily, they have you to click on them to tame their aggresiveness. As expected, tapping on them will earn you money, and the closer the dino was to escaping at the time you tap, the more money you earn. High risk, high reward, dude.

Before you do the Code Red, you have to arrange them so that you can see all of them clearly. The game does not allow you to zoom very far, so they have to be pretty close to each other, especially when you have so many. At the end of the Code, I normally find myself shocked at how much money I’ve earned from that short period of time. Do it often and do it well.

Decors!

I’m sure you know by now that putting decorations around an income-generating dino or building will boost the income by a fixed percentage? Yes, try to crowd as many dinosaurs or buildings around each decoration so that you get the most out of everything. Reserve those high percentage decorations for the more expensive and higher-income dinosaurs because their percentage boost will give you more bonus money than if you put it in the proximity of a low-income dino.

I know. I understand that this severely limits your ability to customize and arrange however you see fit, so only do this as long as you want to earn money from it. When you are comfortable with the amount of money you earn normally, feel free to customize to your heart’s content.

Upgrade!

Make sure your meat and crop harbor is constantly producing resources, especialy when you are idle. You want and need A LOT of them to level up your dinos. Needless to say, upgrade them as fast as you can so that they will produce more food while you go to work or school.

Trust me, the payoff is worth it.

Level up your dinos!

The higher your dinosaurs are, the more income they generate. That’s the crux of this addictive park building simulator that has you coming back to tap away in hopes that you earn enough to get a new dinosaur, building or expansion. With that in mind, level up your dinos as soon as you have the food for it so that you can begin earning more as soon as possible.

With the new Battle Arena, there is now much more incentive to leveling up your dinos. The higher level your dinos are, the better stats they have and the higher your chances of winning in the next level. Try to level all your carnivores at an equal rate so that you have a group of equally good members, instead of just focusing on one.

Evolve!

When a dinosaur gets to levels 10, 20, etc, you have the option to evolve them. If you have the money, do it. Not only do you get more money after it evolves, it (sometimes) look way cooler too! And let’s be honest here, isn’t that the main reason many of us are still playing this game? The dinosaurs are so cool you do not want to miss out on the next stages of evolution for each one!!

Go Fight Go!

With the latest update, the Battle Arena was introduced to put your dinosaurs to good use besides being just a side show. Now you can pit your best dinos against the AI and other players. Fight against the AI as much as you can each time you turn the game on, and try to get as far as you can against the AI. This earns you quite a lot of easy money and, not to mention, food.

Besides that, who wouldn’t want to see dinosaurs fight, am I right or am I right? Hey yo!

Connect with friends!

As with most games in the Play Store now, Facebook integration is available for you to connect and share your park and rewards with your contacts. If you have many friends playing, share rewards with them and pit your dinos against theirs and talk about it in school or work the next day. Not only will both of you profit from sharing the joy, it also gives you something to chat about besides the weather.

I hope this guide has proven useful to you. Many of these are common sense, and you probably already know them at the back of your mind, but it serves as a reminder of what is the best way to earn money and have the most fun in the game. Enjoy!
