Welcome to the unofficial game guide to Overlord. It contains detailed descriptions of all the quests awaiting the candidates to the title of the Lord of Darkness. Below, you shall find not only the step-by-step lead through all the quests ahead. Also, you'll find out where to look for the objects which you have to teleport to your tower. They will increase your life force and mana as you progress with your adventures. The guide also gives you detailed descriptions of possible tactics and techniques of defeating major enemies.
Locations' names are highlighted with green. You'll be able to teleport to most of them directly from your tower. Unfortunately, the game doesn't provide a map. Therefore, this guide is prepared as detailed solution to the game. Not only that it tells you exactly what to be done and achieved in particular quests, but also guides you through all the places you visit so you shouldn't get lost.
The game is rather a linear story and not often you have opportunity to go with one quest before completing another (or at least a part of it). It's because either some lands stay locked, or you need a particular kind of your minions which you shall find later on, or there's simply no point in wandering into dangerous places being unprepared for its perils. The sequence suggested is not the only possible, but following the order of events as presented will definitely help you avoiding unnecessary inconvenience.
Overlord is a game allowing you to become a truly black character. You've got two options: being evil or thoroughly evil. In fact, the differences are not significant and with very few exceptions quests remain the same. The following solution describes the first option as default. For the truly evil individuals, there is the chapter Tips for the Evilest. You'll find there tips for concrete tasks where you should take the evil decision and make evil deeds which shall make you the truly evilest of the evil.

A handful of advice for a start:
Welcome among the living! Since you've woken up - or rather have been awoken by some strange creatures - they are minions, your new company - it's time to learn something! Go ahead then. Walk down the stairs (#1), follow Gnarl and you shall see the first spawning pit from which you call your minions. Hold SHIFT and the right mouse button and your helpers will jump out of the pit. Follow your servant through the door (#2) for your first combat lesson.
Here you'll meet Jester. Hit him with your axe (SPACE) a few times. Do it again holding SHIFT to lock on the target (#1). When he runs away - send you minions to follow and bit him up - use left mouse button (#2).
After that, learn to guide minions by holding both mouse buttons and moving it where you want to send the guys. When they beat up the jester now he'll run away (#1). That's the end of the training (but you can still beat up the bastard if you want to). Now follow Gnarl along the path, listen to what he says and go to the teleport waypoint (#2).
Now it's time for the first serious task. Teleport to the outside world, you'll see spawning pit on your left (#1). Call all your 3 minions and follow the path down and then left. Send minions to kill the sheepies you see there (#2) and bring their life force to you (collecting life force increases the number of your minion potential). Go further and you'll se some tall vases - tell your minions to empty them the way they can and usually do that meaning: break. Come back to the waypoint (#1) - now you can call 5 minions in total so call the other 2.
Walk down the path -you'll see a broken pillar on your right. Since you can direct 5 minions now - send them to move it to make the pass to the next areas (#1). Walk ahead, listen to Bob's story and then break the pumpkins, sunflowers and the hut (#2) with your minions. And get rid of the first halfling you'll meet there - he's an enemy but no threat to you - just hit him with your axe.
There's a pass on the left from the hut - just break the barriers there and head along the path. You'll pass by some mushrooms - let your minions smash them for fun if you want to (#1). Now there's a bridge and some halflings sleeping around (#2) - kill. Your minions should have no problem with them.
Keep walking the path - now right - you'll come to a pumpkins farm. Destroy them - so you can retrieve the Tower Heart! Send your minions to take it - they'll carry it to the waypoint (#1). But they'll need some help from you too: hit the stone wall with your axe to make the bridge for your guys (#2).
So, the first mission completed. Just follow your minions to the waypoint now - the same which brought you here - and teleport to your tower. Now you have 10 minions to dispose and also, you'll learn your first spell - fireball. Soon you'll have lots of opportunities to use it.
Time to leave and start the exciting life of Overlord. For the moment you can visit only Mellow Hills - go ahead. Take 10 minions from the spawning pit and just like the first time, go kill the sheepies around. Remember! - the more enemies or creatures you kill - the more minions grow in the pits. Now go back to where you started. There's a bridge on your right - the one you've made a while ago (#1). Further across you'll find another piece of broken pillar. Send all your minions to move it (#2) and follow the path right to see a scene.
Walk further and you'll see a small yellow field on your right. Throw a fireball to burn the halflings hiding there (#1). When the fire fades send your minions to grab the leftovers. Follow the path and deal with another group of halflings exactly the same way (you'll find some gold on the right). Go ahead and prepare for some more battles - collect life force! Watch a scene, ignore the peasants by the road (#2), follow straight ahead for some time and then turn right.
If you need, sacrifice some minions in the blood pit (#1) but if you followed the directions, you should be A-Ok. Go right behind the blood pit to find mana pit where you can exchange minions for mana - do it and come back to the path you've come from. A bit ahead there's a spawning pit where you can replenish your minions. You'll need them because there's quite a mess right ahead of you. Walk down and take care of the halflings (#2), then send your minions to the wheel by the gate. Be careful as there's quite many guys to deal with. Try keeping a distance, use fireball when possible. You can always come back to the spawning pit for more minions, mana and energy. Now, go up the hill to your right for a moment - to gather the sheepies' life force - and walk through the gate you've opened with the mechanism.
You're in the new area: Slave Camp. If you need, call your minions from the spawning pit on your right (#1). Walk along the path and you'll meet a peasant (#2). Don't hurt him, though, just walk to your left and prepare for the next fight with the halflings.
The first group there isn't much threat so just send your minions to fight them (#1). Save your mana and energy for the tough guy ahead. When you're done with them, follow the path with torches along it - there are quite many enemies all around. Start with these throwing stones from upstairs (#2), then walk down and get rid of the rest.
Send your little helpers to turn the wheel (#1) to let the peasants free. Now take the path to the left. Fight the halflings on the way and you'll find blood pit and spawning pit (#2). Use them if you need and walk down.
Here it is - your first boss to fight. Apparently, this troll's been on junkfood for quite a long time (#1). It's strong, but very slow. Send your minions to it and draw them back when you see it's going to jump. Hit him at sides and from the back with your axe; use fireball. Some of your companions will die, but surely they'll have been happy to sacrifice their lives for You. When you're done with this one, send your minions to the mechanism by the gate to open it. Behind, there's the crane we've come for. Send some of your fellows to take it to the teleport (#2), the rest - to another mechanism (upstairs on the right), and teleport to your tower.
From the tower teleport to Mellow Hills. Call your minions and - if you want - kill the sheepies on your left. Walk across the stone bridge you already know. The gate, formerly closed, is now open (#1) so enter the village. There will be some barrels and other junk blocking your way, so use your team to make a pass for you (#2). Then go right.
Send the guys to look around - they'd love a beer. Watch a scene so you know your current goal: retrieve the food. Walk by an inn and straight to the gate. Let your minions get rid of the stuff again and turn the wheel on the left (#1) to open the gate. There are a few halflings behind it but your fellows will know what to do (#2).
Pass by the trees and behind the last one you'll see a pass (#1). As you walk further through the grass, new spell will be there for you: a figure with a violet glow (#2). Your minions will carry it to the nearest teleport so you can start using it right away - just follow them for a while and help opening a mechanism to make a bridge so they can get to the place. They'll be okay the rest of the way and will come back to you so go back to the trees (#1) and continue your trip.
There's a group of halflings in front of you, so - as usual - take care of the stone throwers in the first place (#1). Walk along the path and loot the huts. There's a spawning pit right by the first one (#2) so you can call more minions if you need. Walk down the stairs - surprise! - more halflings and a troll to play with. Just remember how we've done this guy before: side and back hits with the axe, fireballs and withdrawing your minions if you see it's gonna jump. You can always come back to the spawning pit (#2) for more minions. As for the halflings -eliminate the stone throwers first.
All clear? - good - now it's time for a little reward. There are huts waiting for you to loot them, but the most important is the one in the middle. To enter it just turn the wheel on the left (#1). Once inside, you'll see lots of gold and other precious things - go ahead! It's all yours! - just, you know, send your servants to collect the stuff. Now walk down the stairs to open another door. Oh, there are the halflings again (#2). As usual: kill and loot and when you're done go up the stairs to your left.
Walk straight ahead, try to kill the halflings in the next room before they wake up and collect the valuables. Now come back to the room you were before and send your minions to break the door (#1) - watch out for the three halflings that will pop out. The entrance in front of you is locked at the moment so turn right and break the jumping barrels (#2). Rats will come out of them, but don't kill them now - they'll help you destroy the enemies hiding down there. Kill them dead and collect the stuff around. Walk up the stairs and go to the next room - on you right.
Halflings will keep coming out of the opening (#1) so keep an eye on it. First send your minions through it and then turn the wheel on your left. A gate will open downstairs (#2) so walk through it - but before, you can go past the opening (#1) and collect some gold.
Go left to the room - some peasants will ask you for help so kill the sleeping guards. Now you have to guide your minions (remember, both mouse buttons) so they walk across two wooden platforms and use the mechanism (#1) to release the peasants. In the meantime, take care of the halflings disturbing you there. Follow the peasants to the corridor and to a door locked (#2). Tell your minions to open it, walk through and turn left.
In the room you'll see quite a pumpkin (#1). Before you destroy it take care of the opening as halflings will be coming out of them to attack you. Then smash the pumpkin - it contains another tower object. Take it to the waypoint so you can control 15 minions! If you need, go up the stairs (#2) to blood pit and spawning pit. You don't have to accompany your minions as they carry the object, so if you wait a while, you'll be able to gather more commando.
Now, as you walk toward the blood pit, you'll see a broken mechanism (#1) -you have to find the two missing spokes to use it. Open the door downstairs and kill the halflings there and then go up the stairs. Kill the sleeping halflings there, grab the loots and walk through the door behind the vases. Here you'll find the first missing spoke - send one minion to take it to its place (#2).
Walk along the red carpet (#1) and turn the wheel at its end. Walk back, take the first stairs down, next one up and then down again and you'll see a door open (#2). Enter the room to find the last missing spoke - send a minion to grab it. If the halflings wake up - as one minion caries the spoke - guide the rest to the halfling holes (both mouse buttons) so they won't be coming out anymore. Then follow the minion with the spoke.
Yay! The machine is fixed (#1). It needs 12 minions to turn it so in case you've lost some, the's a spawning pit in the corridor on your right. Open the gate and come on in. Walk straight ahead break things and call minions if you need more. You'll come to a room filled with halflings (#2). Your 15 minions will make it no problem - just remember to send them to the openings first so more halflings won't come out. After the fight (or in its course if you need) replenish your minions from the spawning pit in the corridor you came from.
When you're ready, turn the wheel on the right side of the gate (#1) and come on in. Watch out for the butcher cook coming - one is not a problem but soon you'll meet quite a company of them. Walk past some sacks and you'll find mana pit (#2). Pass by some more junk, walk down the stairs and prepare for battle!
Your minions will know what to do with the butcher cooks (#1), but it would be very kind of you to assist them with your fireball were they in need. The stairs on your left lead to the food you came for. There's a wheel to turn, too, so do it and let minions carry the food to the right place. Follow them and watch a short scene. Now we should be going. You can try finding your way back out, but using the teleport is much more convenient. Go back to the tower and from there go to Mellow Hills. There go back the way here (across the bridge, right, along the path and upstairs) - to where the halflings' dwellings are. This option is better also because you can kill some sheepies on the way - you know - the life force!
Now the gate on the left is open (#1). Turn the wheel behind it and walk through another one. Watch a short scene and you'll realize that your minions are great music lovers and they cannot resist dancing... There's not much you can do now so get on the stage yourself (#2), then past some bushes on the left and you'll see a spawning pit. Call minions - these should not let themselves fall for the disco trick. There's a blood pit, too, so get yourself some life if you need.
Right behind the blood pit you'll see stairs (#1) - walk this way and you'll find a spoke. Have one minion grab it and take it to the wheel. Let the rest take care of the rats and treasures around and go back to the blood pit where you'll see stairs on the other side of the scene. Walk up there and send a minion for the next spoke - it's up there, next to the house (#2).
Come back to the scene - now you see the wheel at the hut's entrance is fixed (#1). You need 12 minions to open it so go to the pit behind the scene if you've lost some. A butcher cook will come out with a "welcome" (#2) so reply with a proper "hello" and come on in.
Welcome to Melvin's Kitchen. But don't let your appetite lead you astray - go left, let your fellows kill the sheepies and break stuff. Enter the main room, turn the wheel you see across (#1) to roast the butcher cooks. Take a walk around the room, clear the area and turn another wheel (#2). Enter the room and clean it up. Now get ready for meeting Melvin Underbelly himself... Brrr.
Start from a distance - use your minions (#1), fireball, hit him with your axe from behind. Now you see he started rolling all over the room! - be careful not to get in the range of this floppy belly (it's wider than it seems!). Make sure your minions follow you as you call them and be careful not to get crashed or hit by the stick in Melvin's hand. It will take some time so be patient. The best moment to attack is when he stands by the wall (#2). After a few hits the fatass will explode - but literally.
Come back to the place where you've roasted the cooks and turn the wheel (#1). Now you've got red fiery minions! If you've got a handful of browns, take at least 5 of them back to the spawning pit as you'll need 10 reds soon. Send these you've got to put down the fire on your right (#2) and collect some red life force from the bugs.
In the next room you'll find Red Minion Hive (#1) - teleport to the tower so you can call red minions. Here you need 10 of them. Collect some red energy from the lava bugs and call minions from the spawning pit in the room before. Send them to grab the Hive and follow them. Some halflings will pop out so let your reds put the Hive down for a moment and throw their fire balls onto them. Continue your way to butchers' room - there's a wheel on your right. Position your reds on the left side so they light the butchers with fire (#2). Browns send to the right so they turn the wheel. When you're done with the chefs, send the reds to grab their Hive and follow them. Now use the teleport to go back to tower.
That was tough! Why not do some exercises for relaxation. You can try your new minions so walk down to the dungeon arena (#1) (stairs on the left) and choose the opponent you want to fight (e.g. trolls). You'll gain some energy too, so you can replenish your minions - remember to drop by here once a while! Now go to Mellow Hills to take this jar full of gold behind the fire (#2) - it's up on the hill behind Mellvin's house, near by the halflings' party. Your new red companions will gladly carry it to the waypoint. But before - here's a nice surprise for you! When you show up in Mellow Hills a girl will run to welcome you - so grateful that you killed Mellvin and that the sheep are breeding like crazy! - go ahead - kill as many as you wish - they are all yours!
Come back to Spree. Walk to the gate in the back of the village (#1) - you'll get there turning left on the left side of the entrance (it's the second gate there to the left). The peasant there will tell you about a mysterious mistress and a castle being under siege. Open the gate and walk along the path until you see the castle on fire (#2). Come closer and kill the bugs to collect red life force - you'll need it for more reds. Call them now (there's a spawning pit in the alcove on your left) and send them to blow out the fire blocking your way. Walk further killing more bugs. A few raiders will attack you, too, so kill them.
Walk closer to the castle - you won't get in yet as the bridge is lifted. Turn right, get rid of those raiders and send your reds to break another fire barrier. Be prepared for more raiders to attack you, so just kill them first and then turn the wheel (#1) to lower the bridge and get into the castle. Now be careful as the castle is really under siege and more raiders will be coming out of everywhere (#2). Keep fighting them and remember that you can always come back to the spawning pit for more minions.
When the raiders are down you can go up the stairs - left or right to break things and collect this and that (#1). Downstairs, you'll see a wall of fire in front of the dungeon entrance - soon we'll come to that and fighting more raiders, too, but first - go to an opening to your right (#2), fighting the guys that will attack you. There you'll find brown spawning pit, teleport, mana pit and, around the corner, a tower object increasing your life force. Let your minions take it to the waypoint and to tower (and visit it yourself if you will).
If you've gone to tower, return to the castle now, kill some red bugs and call more reds from the spawning pit in the alcove on your left. Walk down to the dungeon (entrance across from the bridge) and - welcome to new area: Dungeons of Spree. Let's go left first. Send reds to deal with the fire and watch a short scene. Get ready for more fire barriers and raging raiders - let your reds show what they can! Break the first barrier and walk ahead until you meet some people locked in a cell and the mysterious lady in a separate one (#1). So you're there to set them free. Fight more raiders and loot the room properly. Further to your right there's some stuff and red life force (bugs) to collect, and next fire barrier to break (#2). Use your reds on it and let the guys free. Now you just have to find the luggage of your future mistress (!). Be gone then!
Come back to the first room and this time go right - to another fire barrier for reds to break. Watch out for the raiders again (#1). Fight them and take the stairs to the next firewall. Break it and go to a fireplace. Let reds throw their little fire balls across it to kill the enemies on the other side and break the next barrier. Repeat the operation by the next fireplace. Look around for the loot and replenish your minions from the spawning pits (take more reds). Walk upstairs to the wheel (#2) and turn it.
There's more raiders coming out from the gate you've just opened! But what do you have your red warriors for! - let them deal with the guys from a distance. Now enter the bloody gate downstairs (#1) which will lead you back around to the dungeon entrance. Kill some raiders and check your energy level as you'll need it soon. Use the blood pit in the middle of the corridor (#2) and call more minions from the spawning pits (the more reds the better). Now, let's talk to the boss!
You can position some reds up the stairs so they'll cover your back when you fight the big eye. Take your browns with you for a hand-to-hand fighting. Remember that new opponents will keep coming from the weirdo - a few fireballs straight in the eye should make it. Now you need 12 minions to transport the luggage you've just uncovered (#1). The lady will be so grateful that she will... move into your place! Finally you've got someone to take care of your home while you're out doing business. Just check it out - first look around your throne. Go upstairs too, see - now you can arrange your little nest according to your taste: get some furniture and other facilities, and even pick the color of your cloak (#2) depending on your moods or simply to impress your folk!
Now, since you've got the reds, you can get the first smelter back to your tower. Come back to Spree and walk through the gate you haven't used yet (first one left as you enter) (#1). Use the wheel there on the left to open it and turn right once outside. Soon you'll see some ruins (#2) - that's where the smelter is.
Let reds deal with the fire so they can carry the thing to teleport. It ain't that easy, though. In the meantime halflings came over and the peasants closed the gate. Put the smelter down for a while so your minions can take care of these little bastards and continue when you're done. You shouldn't have much problem here but if you lack minions to carry the thing - go to a broken hut with a spawning pit hidden inside (#1). Turn right and you'll see some sheep and a drawbridge ahead (#2) - that's where we're heading. Send your minions to lower the bridge with the wheel so you can carry the smelter to your tower. There'll be some halflings disturbing your way so take a few stops to get rid of them. Now, see what the smelter is for! You can get yourself a more durable armor - that should do for some time. Just remember to visit the place once a while when you've got more gold and more minions to spare. Now, it's time to meet some elves!
Come back to Spree and go in the direction that you went for the smelter - remember to have reds with you, it's important! - but this time turn left before the hut. Walk past the peasant (#1), and further through the woods. Send your reds to deal with the fire (#2) and enter the new area of Evernight.
Turn right to meet two anemic half-dead elves (#1) and find out there are two crazy bloody unicorns to kill. The first one you'll meet just after the elves (#2) - to the left. Kill it! (you can slow it down with your spell, throw some fireballs and attack with your minions withdrawing your commando from time to time to avoid casualty). Keep going and you'll come to a stream. Don't send your minions there cause they'll surely drown! Just cross it yourself first and the'll find a branch or something (on the left) to catch up safely. There's the second bloody unicorn waiting for you - kill it the same way or try some other tactics yourself.
Now, there's a barrier on your right (#1) and a spell behind it. Send your minions to the wheel near by (#2) to make the bridge. Take the spell to teleport and come back to the place where you met the elven ghosts (follow the path and turn right). Break the barrier past them and continue killing the forest creatures you'll meet on the way. Watch the scene so you'll get an idea as of what is actually going on around the area.
And there you have it - a brand new goal in life: kill Oberon. It will take you quite some time and adventure before you finally make it but what else are you here for?! Now break the barrier to your right (#1) and walk further. Use the blood pit there if you need. Look at this strange root with a pulsating sphere of light at its ending! Send your minions to destroy it (#2). You better start enjoying this cause there are 5 more of these nodes to cut.
Now come back and turn into the path blocked by the root before. There are some poisonous plants. Keep walking, fight the forest creatures and you'll meet some magical beasts performing a ritual - Gnarl will show you a poisonous plant which will help you defeat them. Just send one minion to carry it to the creatures so they get poisoned and die. Now go across the water (#1) to the other side - your minions will find a way to follow you there. You'll find another poisonous plant (#2) - use it the same way to fight the next opponents.
Walk across the water, kill more forest creatures and collect some stuff on your way. Now stop -there are two groups of enemies: on your left and in front of you (#1). Guide one minion with the poisonous plant to the island on the left - they should all die, but fight them if they don't. Send the next one to the gathering ahead (the plant is by the tree, to the left). Walk further, break the barrier and you'll see next of these plants - carry it to the beasts dancing near by (#2). If some of them survive, bring them another one.
Break another barrier (#1) and you'll see - green minions! They'll show you a shortcut to the cave - but before you follow them - collect the tower object you'll find on your left. Send your fellows to the mechanism to the left to make a pass and they will know their way to the nearest waypoint. Now your mana has increased! Go to the cave then - it's to the left from the place where you've found the object.
Welcome to Viridian Caverns. Trust your green fellows and follow them as they guide you (#1). Kill the cave creatures to collect green life force - you'll be able to call greens soon! Stay away from the poisonous plants and clouds of deadly gas. Break the barrier and keep walking. When you're in the room with a big block in the middle (#2), turn right.
Carefully guide your minions down the creeper to move the stone and make a bridge. Come back and walk to the other side across the new bridge (#1). Keep following greens for a little while until they enter a corridor filled with poisonous gas (#2). Wait until they clear the passage and continue further in. Kill some bugs and collect the green lights as you go, and remember to stay out of the green clouds! Break the barrier in your way and use the spawning pit and the blood pit behind it if you need.
Enter the passage on the right from the pit - you'll see a block. Send 5 minions to move it (#1) to make a bridge like the one before. Turn right before the archway (#2) to access it - just break the barrier and watch out for the poison in your way. Yay! So you've made it to the Green Minion Hive!
Now be a kind master and invite your new servants over to your place. Let greens take care of the environment first - cut the creepers around the hive (#1) and carry it to the nearest teleport. Follow them all the time and send a few each time you see a cloud of green. Kill some bugs in your way and neutralize the deadly gases. After a while you'll see a troll (#2). Send a few green minions to it and some others to turn the wheel to open the gate so you finally reach the waypoint. You'll also learn from Gnarl that if you position greens with a guardmark (Q) they'll be invisible for the enemy; the're also good in surprise attacks - that's a valuable piece of information!
From the tower go to Evernight - make sure there are many greens among your minions. From there walk toward the cave entrance (right and across the white bridge), but don't get in just turn left toward the green fog (#1). Send your greens to neutralize the poisonous field around the next node. Now smash it and kill the bugs which will surely attack you there. Walk further sending greens to the next poisonous barriers. Follow the path and you'll come to an opening with a strange big tree (#2). But don't go there yet - turn right first to get a shield spell. Take it to the waypoint and use to protect yourself in dangerous battles.
Come back to the tree where Oberon's asleep and go toward the root and a poisonous barrier - to the left - you'll see a green cloud (#1). Send greens to get rid of it and walk further, around the building and downstairs. Turn right and follow the path - remember breaking things all around - and you'll come to the next barrier. There's a monster behind it equipped with a large mace (#2). Don't risk and save your powers - that thing will crash the barrier itself. Just let it come closer and your minions should deal with it no problem - the more if you use the spell giving them more strength!
Now head up the stairs to your right to the somewhat broken door (#1). Break it and you'll find a treasure trove - fight the bugs and collect their lifeforce together with the gold, get back out and follow the path. You'll come to a courtyard with the next node in the back, but hold on - you'll have to fight first. Luckily, there are spawning pits as well as blood and mana pit at the reach of your hand, so use them if you need and kill the beasts guarding the node. Kill the little archer creatures. You'll see the deer-like, horny priests(#2) so exterminate them before they resurrect the other monsters.
After the battle restore your energy and replenish your commando - yes, there's more fighting ahead! Now take care of the node. New monsters will pop out when you break it so deal with them the same as before - remember that the priests resurrect the other guys - and try to kill all the enemies before it comes to the minotaur-like things (#1).
Now that you've made it - go to the platform with red wheel next to it (#1). The missing spoke you'll find by the stairs, next to the body of one of the big monster you've just killed (if it hasn't disappeared by then). Pick it up and put back on to turn the wheel and open the door. Walk down the stairs and (try not to) listen the elves' talk. Break the jars there and keep walking - soon you'll find another tower object (#2). Take it to the waypoint - now you can control 20 minions! Go to your tower.
Now it's time to find blue minions so we can go further. From your tower go to Heaven's Peak. Walk up a while, past the peasants (#1) and toward the camp. You'll see one of the refugees turning into a zombie. Head to the back of the camp and to the rusty cemetery gate (#2). Enter and kill the zombies there.
Walk further and you'll meet succubus (#1). Killing her won't be too difficult but keep an eye on your little fellows as they easily fall in love with the laughing daemon. Send them to attack her and follow as she flies from place to place. Now head to where the next tower object is (#2). You've probably noticed some blue minions on your left. Let your minions take the object to the waypoint - follow them if you want as it's not far and there are spawning pits which you might want to use. Oh, look, your mana's increased again! Now come back to where you saw the blues (#2) and approach them across the white bridge to your right. Enter the cave.
Welcome to Moist Hollows. Follow the blues, kill enemies and collect blue lifeforce (make sure you've got at least 10 blue lights). Follow the path until you see the blue Hive and spawn pit (#1). Call at least 10 blues and send them to take their hive to the waypoint. You'll have yet to save the blues you've seen on your way. So, when the blues with the Hive stop, take a few steps down the other path where you'll see the blues in danger. Recall the blues carrying the hive and call more minions from the spawning pits near by. Now, see there's an egg in the middle of the water. Position your minions down but not too close to the water. Send one blue to grab the egg and lure the birds to the other minions to kill them. Continue to the waypoint with the hive (#2).
Let the other minions ahead so they clear the path from mushrooms and other stuff blocking the way (#1). Keep in mind that only the blues are magic resistant so only they can kill the whisps - another source of blue life force. Continue your walk killing the creatures and smashing the mushrooms out of your way.
Send your minions to move the block at the bottom and this up there too (#1) - you'll access it via the passage to your left. Keep walking and remember to clear the mushroom out of your way. There's blue spawning pit ahead - as well as a water serpent to kill. Let's go get it then! Here's one way how to do it: there's browns spawning pit to your right - call as many of them as you can, but keep some blues too, to resurrect the dead warriors. Attract the serpent to attack, move back quickly and send browns to attack its head - you can support them with your powers and weapons. Don't let them stay too long on the serpent's head and call them after a few seconds - they should take a safe jump even if they're high up above the water (#2). Sometimes the monster wouldn't want to play - provoke it then until it eventually does and fight it dead.
Pick the hive and follow blues across the water (#1). Kill the frogs and other forest creatures as you walk - collect the blue force! Soon you arrive at field of geysers. Send your minions carefully to the wheel there (#2) to make a bridge so you can continue with the hive. Keep walking and smashing the mushrooms. You'll come to brown spawning pit and another field of geysers. Take blues and browns with you and head right, kill the frogs in your way and send blues to move the block at the path's end.
Come back to the browns spawning pit. There's a path across from it, a little hidden (#1) - go this way and kill the bugs as you walk. Enter the opening to the left of the waterfall so you'll come to a broken bridge. To walk further you have to get rid of these annoying birds and use the mechanism to open the bridge (#2). You can fireball the birds and send minions to turn the wheel or repeat what we've tried before: send a blue one to grab an egg and lure the birds so the others can kill them. Now walk across the newly opened bridge and send your fellows to move the rock.
Come back for the Hive (#1) - you've cleared the path but there are some mushrooms left so take them out. Once you arrive at the ramp, you'll need 10 blues to carry the hive. There are spawning pits on the left (#2). Blue is behind the rock, near by the water. And the waypoint's just in front of you!
Now that you've got the blues, let's go to Mellow Hills to get the tower object you've been passing by so many times. You can see it from the sheepies spot you know so well (#1). Go there, then, and arrange a little slaughter. Now head toward Slave Camp and take the turn behind the blood pit - follow the path down to the water and send blues to take the thing (#2).
Go to Evernight - to the tree where Oberon's overslept (first right from the waypoint, across the bridge, then left and then just straight ahead). There's a path just before the tree (#1) - head this way and towards the water. Send blues to move the barrier in the water (#2). Then walk in the water along the root until the next node. Cut it (and watch out for the frogs).
Get out of the water and continue along the path to the Elves' Sacred Grove. There are spawning pits near by, too. If you've got some reds in your commando, make sure they won't burn the sacred tree. Kill the bloody unicorns and collect another tower object (#1) - now your health is increased even more. Come back to Oberon's tree. As you face it, take the path under the root to the left (#2).
Continue up the path and then down the stairs and further down. Send blues to turn the wheel across the water (#1). A bridge to the next cave will open. Head across, break the barrier and get in (#2).
Welcome to Skull Den. Follow the path and kill all the creatures in the way (#1). As you approach some shooting creatures will pop out of the ground, you'll meet some priests too. Remember exterminating the priests ASAP so they won't resurrect the others and head down the path until you find the next node to cut (#2) - do it. On your way back you'll see another tower object in the corridor to your left. Be careful cause some priests will show up as you come to it so kill them. Then send minions to carry the object to the waypoint - your mana has increased! Now follow your little guys out of the cave.
You'll see a wheel across from the exit (#1) so turn it and a bridge will form so you can access waypoint and spawning pits if you need more minions. Now head back to the cave entrance but don't get in just take the path right from it. Kill the troll you'll meet soon (#2), then even more trolls, and head up the path until you reach the temple. Come inside.
You're in Mother Goddess Temple now. As you enter, you'll see a woman with a some guys looting the sanctuary. Enter the next room and kill the troll there. There are three paths from the room (four with the one you've entered it). You can't take the one in the middle yet (you need the four keys) so let's go right (#1) and watch the scene. Don't go further where the elves are - stay by the entrance for a while and observe as they wander from one side of the room to another. Wait a moment till both groups go to the chambers on both sides - then send three of your minions to each of the wheels left and right to lock the elves and leave them there for a while. Be patient and make sure no elf stays outside the chambers cause you'll have to repeat it all over again. Once they're locked send another 3 minions to the tomb in the middle of the room (#2). You've got one of the keys.
Come back to the room with three exits and take the one to the left now (#1). You'll find 4 tombs in the room and the key is in the first one to the left as you enter. Watch out for the elves - they keep moving in and out to the neighboring room - they'll be watching you. But they're so slow you can avoid direct contact with them and do your job there. So, two more keys to find. Go back to where you've locked the elves, walk past the tomb and enter the next room (#2). You've got the same problem here as in the previous room - just there are more elves, more chambers, more mechanisms and they are more difficult to access. There are more tombs to check out, too, but only one of them holds the key. Well... you've got little else to do except for waiting and observing the elves. And remember to guide your minions directly to the mechanisms in the right moment.
Come back to the room to your left - where you've got the first key. You'll see passage to the next hall there (#1). You'll see tombs on both sides but no key there! - you can check it out for yourself - just prepare for a battle with some men in black (there' brown spawning pit by the temple's entrance and another one a few steps further in the room you're in). Once they're down look around and you'll see an alcove (#2) and few more tombs behind it. There are some elves guarding the one to the right - and that's where the last key is. Attract the elves' attention and send some minions to get the key. Now you've got all 4 of them!
Come back to the main room now and take the door in the middle (#1). Now you know that the Mother Goddess figure is missing and you have to find it - but not just yet. Take the stairs up and get the next spell. You'll also find the last node next to it (#2) - finally! Once you're done with the nodes you'll be able to kill this Oberon. But of course you have to fight his defenders first - trolls again - so go ahead!
Now that you've made your pass - to the right where the node was (#1) - go this way and it will lead you to the bridge you've prepared before. Walk around the path and you'll come to... Oberon himself (#2)! Send minions to attack him and let him perform a little drama. A few guards will show up afterwards so kill them. Avoid the roots popping up from the ground, too.
You'll have to fight a few groups of those bastards. Send minions to weaken Oberon - seems he's quite a boss. The frogs that come first ain't that hard but if you experience difficulties with trolls or something - there's blue spawning pit and mana pit to the left (#1). There's brown spawning pit a bit to the right, too. Watch out for the hammer guys (#2) and remember to call back your commando as they attempt to attack. After a while of this play you'll hear Oberon asking you to finish it finally so give him your last hit good bye. Some elves will bring you a new spell so take it to the tower with you. Well done!
Time flies when you're having fun - so let's have some more! Take your teleport to Heaven's Peak and call browns and some blues from the spawning pits. Walk down to the camp, go left between the tents (#1) and follow the path down to the water. Leave browns by the shore and send blues to move this piece of pillar there. Walk further across the water, towards the wall, and you'll see another pillar fragment in front of the sewers entrance (#2). Let blues move this one too and prepare for the zombies to jump out from behind it. Make them follow you to the shore using your weapon and fireballs as you walk. Go to where your browns wait for you and let them take care of the remaining zombies. Some peasant archers will help, too! Come back to the waypoint where spawning pits are and get more blues - they're definitely not the best fighters but only they can accompany you now. Enter the sewers (#2).
Here you are now, in Understreets. Follow the sewers until you enter a hall with stairs to the left and to the right in its back (#1). There are lots of zombies to the left so take the one right first. You'll find blue spawning pit there and some stuff to break and collect. You'll also see a room filled with water, with brown spawning pit in the middle (#2) - now that's a riddle but here's the solution: call browns one by one sending blues immediately to bring them to the shore and resurrect as they drown right away. Repeat it as many times as you need to have a handful of browns. Smart.
Now let's take care of the zombies back there. Send browns along the pipe connecting both stairs (#1) so they won't drown. Walk across the water with blues and assist your killers dealing with the corpses on the other side (if you want). There's some loot in the next room so don't hesitate and break things! You'll meet some zombies, too (#2) (and even more of them in the next few... hours?!). A few steps further there are brown and blue spawning pits. You'll also pass by some birds and... - isn't that's a spoke they've got there? - Sure is, but leave it for later- just remember the place.
Gather some browns and blues and you'll come to a door (#1) - enter and send some browns ahead to get rid of those damn zombies. Further ahead there's a wheel with three missing spokes (#2). Remember the room with birds? - good - now let's go back there and do like the last time: send one blue for the egg to lure the birds and let browns kill them. Once you're done with the flying things send one blue to get the spoke.
Take the stairs down and turn left. Leave browns there (#1) and go to the water to break the barrier to your left (#2). Now come back to the shore and lure the zombies for browns to take care of them, then go to the next stairs. Kill the bugs there, loot the room and break this door. Kill the zombies and priests there and go right. Break the barrier and send a minion to carry the spoke to the wheel - don't follow him.
Come back and send minions to turn the wheel here (#1). Enter the door that's just opened (to the left) and turn right killing bugs. Leave your minions there, walk down into the water (#2) and turn left. More zombies will welcome you there so head back to where you've left browns and let them do the job. Now follow along the sewer. You'll find blood pit and spawning pits in one if the passages, so make use of them if you need and continue your way. You'll meet some bugs and loot to collect. Walk upstairs to find red spawning pit.
Take at least one red with you (you can use mana pit here too). Send him to the fire barrier ahead (#1) so you can recall the rest of your team you've left by the water. Come back to the place where you broke the barrier to lure zombies - as you walk across the water you'll see some stairs (#2). Go there, kill zombies and grab the last spoke - you'll need at least one blue to get it for you so remember that all spawning pits as well as blood and mana pits are in the sewers you've just come from.
Now follow the blue one with the spoke. When the wheel is finally fixed (#1), turn it and enter the gate. Watch a short scene and turn left - you'll come to a group of people. There's waypoint and spawning pits, too, so take only blues with you, loot the room and follow ahead and down the stairs. Go further and down the next stairs and then the stairs up (#2) to get to mana pit.
You'll find a wheel there but not only - there's a water serpent too (#1). It'll rise from the water when you send minions to the mechanism. You can try killing the monster first, but you can also send all your blues to turn the wheel so they should make it before the beast eats them all. You can also use the birds near by - just send one blue to get an egg to lure them to the serpent - it should follow them fine so your fellows will have more time to open the gate to your left (#2). Once you're done, go through it.
Walk down and then down the stairs until you come to brown spawning pit and blood pit (#1). Now you can gather your commando to fight the serpent back there (e.g. use browns to fight and blues to resurrect the dead folks). Once done, head back through the newly open gate, go to the room filled with zombies and kill them to gain another spell (#2). Call some greens from the spawning pit there in the corner if you need and take the door out of this place.
Break the barrier (#1) and go to the city. Turn the wheel to your left and watch a scene. A bridge will open. Send minions to get the thing to your right (a bird's head!?) and follow them out of the city, breaking the barrier in your way. As your companions carry the spell to the waypoint replenish your minions and remember to have at least one red with you. Now head back to the city - straight across the bridge (#1) - and enter Understreets.
Walk down the stairs to the left from the entrance. Let reds take care of the fire (#1) and head down, to the lower level of Understreets - Understreets (2). Loot the first room and walk further ahead killing bugs and zombies and pillaging the area. Eventually, you'll enter a room with a wheel (#2) so turn it and go through the door that's just opened.
Kill your enemies there and walk ahead - to mana pit (#1). There are spawning pits, too, a few steps further so replenish your minions if you need and continue your way to watch zombie starring in a scene. Kill those bastards there (starting with the boss), loot the room and turn the wheel up on the platform (#2).
Walk through the door you've open and follow along the corridor - you'll come to more spawning pits and even more zombies. Kill them all and use the mechanism in the back (#1). Go to the door and there you have it - the next smelter for your tower (#2). Exterminate the zombies again - starting with the boss like before - and send 10 minions to carry the object to the waypoint. With the new smelter you acquire new armory options, so go to the tower and check it out!
Take your waypoint to Heaven's Peak and head to the city (left and across the bridge), but not before taking a few reds with you. Once in the city, turn left and walk to the stairs (#1) and up. Follow straight towards some burning barrels. Send reds to them and watch out for the black knights who'll show up there so kill them. Go sightseeing if you will - there's some gold and other stuff to loot around. Go down, turn right and head up the stairs - you'll see a fire barrier (#2) and some zombies so send your reds to do the job.
Listen to some peasants and... kill them when they turn into zombies! Send your reds to take care of the fire around and keep fighting the bastards that keep attacking you for some reason. There are spawning pits to the right from the path (#1) so get yourself more soldiers if you need. Head up the stairs now - see the place some guys with beer are coming out of (#2)? - it's called Halfway to Heaven Inn. Head on in!
Once inside, break the barrels to your left and follow that guy in red cloak (no, he's got nothing in common with Red Hat!). Take the door to your left (#1) and walk along the corridor. Break the barrels in your way and kill the rats (quite many of them). Then break the door on your left and the next way on. Now enter the room full of red-cloaked guys (#2).
Break another door - on your left - to get the spell of more minion control (#1). Now you can have up to 30 minions to dispose of! Head on to the door to your right and turn the wheel behind it - it opens the door that's closed behind the guy in red (loot the room before following him). Send minions to the mechanism through the gap in the wall (#2). As you might have guessed, a few monks will attack you immediately. Bring them down and go to the gate left upstairs.
You'll find yourself in a spacious room, with quite a big wheel in the middle (#1). It opens the door across from the entrance. Before heading on there, take a walk to the right. Break the door in the end of the corridor and kill the rats there. You'll also find red spawning pit. Continue heading up, break a few boxes and turn the small wheel (#2). This door takes you back to the inn (you can take the waypoint there and go home for a while if you miss it). Now go to the main room with the big mechanism (#1) and turn it on, baby! Ohm, now you've got these red monks to deal with so just let's get over this and use the door.
This time it's a succubus waiting for you there (#1): flying, laughing and blinding your little fellows in love. Help them avoid it and assist with your fireballs. When you're finally done, send minions to take the figure from the middle of the room (#2) and carry it to the waypoint.
Get out of this place and out of the inn. Take the stairs left down (#1) and go along the path. Break the wall to make a bridge to pass (#2). You'll meet many zombies in your way, so... well, just kill them. Go around the path and to the castle - you've got business there. Once you're in, head up the stairs (strange, no enemies here...) and you'll come to spawning pits. Now use the door near by - just open them and enter, you know.
It's Angelis Keep where you are now. This guy that's just yelled at you is Sir William (the same you've chased in the inn and after). He'll escape again but leaving us with some of his red-fashioned pals to play with (#1). Loot the room and follow William (left) fighting groups of monks in your way. When you meet him again he'll charge you for a duel so fight until he gets scared again. Kill more of his red friends and chase him a little more (go back a little). You'll enter a room with succubuses (#2) so kill them (there were spawning pits and a blood pit in the room before, in case you haven't noticed).
When you're finished with them a door will open. So head on in and continue to a room with a mechanism with a spoke missing (#1). In the next room there's Velvet waiting for you (you'll hear her voice if you approach the door). But - first things first - finish with Sir William. Walk ahead and turn left for final meeting. The fight should not be a problem: use your minions (#2) and support them with your weapons and spells. Avoid his hits and keep an eye on him as he'd use his magic and he'll teleport to different places in the room - so keep following him. When a group of these red guys gather around him - give him the final shot.
Break the statues if you want - there's gold in some of them. Send one minion to grab the spoke in the middle of the room and put it back on to the broken mechanism (#1) - now you can open the door and set Velvet... free? Watch the scene and you'll see what's going on here: now choose if you stay with Rose or dump her for Velvet. We're going the normal evil option so at that point you stay by Rose. Now you've learnt an important thing: Rose can upgrade your minions in the tower: browns for free, but for the blues you have to pay 5000 gold. If you want to see the effects, go to your tower private chambers. You can also get a new carpet or some statues on the occasion.
Now we're ready to meet the dwarves. Take your waypoint to Evernight and head on to the place where you've killed Oberon (first right, across the bridge, then left and then straight ahead). Where the Oberon's tree was, now there's a pass (#1) - that's the entrance to Dwarven Lands. Go up the hill ahead (#2).
As you go up and past the waypoint, there are some sheep to kill on the left - so use the opportunity to collect some life force. Keep going - to the dwarven dwellings (#1). Kill them, loot the area sending minions to the houses. At the back of the village, behind some barrels, you'll find another tower object. Collect it to increase your mana! Continue through the village (left) so you'll meet some slugs and Gnarl will tell you about their relations with Dwarves. Send minions to push the cart (#2) to cover the hole in the ground so the slugs stop coming out.
Now let's go for a pint - so head up the hill and around the path and you'll come to a dwarven pub where the guys drink their self-brewed beer. Sorry, but we're here to crash the party. There are a few ways to do it. First, remember that a drunk dwarf is a furious and so: more dangerous dwarf (the same refers to minions). Walk down a few steps to provoke a group of the dwarves nearest you and then run back up and kill them no problem. Repeat the operation until you can deal with the rest that's left in the pub and take over the place. You can also go for a more sophisticated solution: guide 5 minions down the path and over the pipe to move the cart from the hole (#1) and release the slugs. Position some reds over the slug hole so they throw their fireworks on to the dwarfs occupied with the slugs. When you're done here send minions to move the cart back over the hole, and kill the slugs and the dwarves left. Another strategy is going down in and simply making the mess - killing whatever turns up and strengthening minions with spells. Whichever way you choose, remember the most important here: grab the spell (#2) up left and let your minions have a few beers - that would make them happy. As you head back up, release the elves locked in a cell.
Now come back to where you covered the slug hole first. Break the barrier there (#1), kill slugs and dwarves and head down to the next little fence. There's mines behind it - we'll go there in a while - but first there's this giant rock-man to play with (#2). You can give your little helpers some time with it, but a few fireballs are enough to bring it down. Now head on into the mines.
So here we are - in the mine - The Glittering Mine to be precise. Break the barrier and some elves will run out. Break the barrels. Later on you'll meet a giant slug consuming a trunk of gold. Take it back (#1)! Break the barrier and you'll find brown spawning pit further to the right (#2). Don't go further - it's a dead end - let's go back and get the gold.
From the slug room follow the path right down. There's some stuff to collect where the path breaks right further. Take it, come back and continue to the room with some barriers (#1). Before breaking them, head on straight to a chamber with a couple of dwarves for another trunk of gold (#2). Send your minions to bring it to the waypoint and head back to the barriers room (#1).
Break the barriers and kill the dwarves. You'll find next trunk of gold and a wheel in the back of the room (#1). Take the gold first. The wheel opens passage to the following mine areas - come back and open it when you're done with the gold. Kill the dwarves which will come out. There are some barrels and some loot there on your right. Further left you'll come to red spawning pit and you'll meet more dwarves (#2). Kill them.
Head up the stairs (#1) to the wooden platform and you'll see some elves imprisoned. Kill the slugs (left) and cover their hole with the cart. Turn the wheel (#2) and let the elves go. Take the gold and break the barriers to carry it to the waypoint. Send minions to open the next pass with another mechanism - it'll lead you back to the room where you killed the first slug. Carry the gold to the waypoint and let's get out of here!
Outside the mines - turn right and you'll come to more barriers (#1). Break them and you'll see a dwarf with a fire blaster! Now watch out as you might get killed in a second. One way is to leave minions out there (Q) and sneak to the dwarf - avoiding the fire - and attack him from the back. As he gets weak he'll throw flames all around so better move away before he explodes (you can use fireball from distance to make sure he's down). Not far behind the place there's a huge door and some mines (bombs) next to it (these spiked metal things) (#2). Now, leave your minions away and send one to grab a mine and carry it to the door - and call him back right away. Use one more (it'll appear in the same place) to break the door. Now it's open - let's go in!
Follow the path left - it will lead you to the waypoint and spawning pits and another door - to your right (#1). You break and open it the same way as the other just now you need 4 mines. Some dwarven guards will notice you as you approach the door and they'll start throwing mines at you - use them to break the door! When a dwarf throws a bomb send a minion to grab it and leave it by the door. Repeat it 4 times to open the door and... say hello to another armed dwarf (#1). Kill him and the little fellows that follow him.
Break all the barrels and take right and the stairs up (#1). Go up to the wooden platform and follow around it killing more and more dwarves in the way. You'll find another tower object here (#2) - it's health increase. Carry it to the waypoint (and replenish your minions).
Come back with your commando, get rid of the rest of the dwarves and loot the place clean. Go up the stairs and turn left - you'll see a door open (#1). Head on in and listen to the elf you'll meet there (and then Gnarl). You can use the blood pit there on the right if you need and walk the path to the Temple Construction Site. Now follow the path straight and turn left when you see a huge lava golem (#2). Break the barrels but be careful cause a rolling monster will roll in. To kill it, just let it see you and roll in your direction, dodge and hit it a few times with your axe when it bumps to the wall. This is how you deal with rollies - you'll meet some more of them soon.
Continue down along the path. Break the barrels and you'll find brown spawning pit. Keep heading down and you'll meet next rollie. Kill it and break the barrier there (#1). There's a narrow passage ahead with some corridors with rollies - you can kill them the same way as the ones before, but you can just walk by, watching your minions so they won't get crashed. Eventually you should arrive at the stairs (#2). Go up then, break the barrels there and follow down another stairs. You'll see a group of dwarves on one side of chasm trying to kill the rollie on the other side.
There are two options here. One is to send your guys to move the rock down there (#1) bridging the gap. The rollie will roll (what else) to the dwarves killing them. A fat dwarf sitting up there will kill the monster for you so now just continue fighting with the dwarves. The other option is to go for the dwarves and leave the monster alone on the other side. Now turn the wheel (#2) to open the door. Head on in to find blood pit and spawning pits of reds and browns.
Follow the path around and you'll hear some elves imprisoned moaning and see two monsters down there (#1). Position some greens and reds upstairs so the monsters won't see them and you'll have a support in fight. Smash them! Then turn the wheel (#2) to free the elves. In the corner, behind the huge stone pillars you'll find blue spawning pit
Now move the huge block across from the cage with elves to make a pass. Go up the stairs and turn the wheel. Now blow out the big door by the stairs (#1) sending minions with bombs like before. You'll need four of them.
Walk through the broken door and enter a narrow hall where you'll meet... a rolling monster! Kill it. Then send your minions to move the block in the back of the room (#1) to open a pass to another path. Kill another rollie and collect the loots from the trunks. Walk to the path by the stairs (#2) killing the dwarves in your way. You'll find green spawning pit and blood pit. Move the blocks to get to an alcove with treasure.
Go back and up the stairs, then down the path and - there you have it: the lava golem (#1). It looks scary - maybe even too scary for such a looser - but maybe that's exactly the point. Come closer to watch the scene and kill the monster (you might be a bit disappointed with not actually destroying the golem in a battle). So here is how it goes: send minions to the barriers - there's a rollie behind each one of them (#2). All you have to do is release the monsters so they roll down to the golem doing the job for you. If you're still not satisfied with such a simple solution, come up with a strategy like the order in which to crash the barriers or number and kind of minions you send to them - surely that will make you feel better. Now you can do some sightseeing, so take a look at the statue there if you want - look, but don't do anything. Not yet.
Not far from the place, a little to the left, there's an alcove where you'll find another tower object (#1) - it's more minion control! Take it to the waypoint killing the Dwarves and fixing the bridge (#2) in your way. Now you can have as many as 35 minions in your commando! Go back to the statue (the one you saw where the lava golem was) and send 5 brown minions into it - yes, make sure they do exactly enter the statue.
But let's not forget our little friends - the dwarves. Go back to their place (#1). The most convenient way is to take the waypoint from your tower to The Golden Hills - Pass. Then go to The Brewery - it's the big building to your right (#2) which is currently unapproachable. So turn the wheel on your right to form a bridge and kill the dwarves guarding the entrance.
Walk down the stairs, kill the dwarves and break the barrels. Before heading on straight further let your companeros have a pint (#1). Walk straight ahead, kill the dwarves in your way, and you'll come to a door. To enter them you have to turn the wheel on your left, but to turn it you have to fix it and to fix it you have to find the missing spokes - of course. As simple as that. Behind the barrels, to your right, you'll find next spell (#2) - take it to the waypoint.
Come back to the entrance and take the other path, to the left. Flip the lever by the door (#1) to stop the beer running. Of course, a few dwarves will attack you in a second - very mad with the sudden break in their drink supply. Kill them. Enter the room, break the barrels and stuff, take the spoke (#2) and put it back in the mechanism.
Come back to the room where you found the spoke, take the other door and then down the stairs (#1) beating the hell out of the dwarves in your way again. Head on further left breaking things and killing the dwarves all the time. Send one minions over a pipe (#2) to flip the lever to open another door. Of course, kill the dwarves which undoubtedly attack you and don't hesitate to take whatever you like from the room.
Leave the room, walk up the stairs nearest you, and then another one (#1). Before the next crash with dwarves there send your minions over the pipe to open the door with the lever there (#2). Kill the dwarves which jump out of the doors.
Enter the next room and kill more dwarves there. Go out and take the stairs left down. Break the barrier there (#1). Walk up a little and another huge dwarf will attack you. Kill and continue up the stairs to your left. You'll find brown and red spawning pits and mana pit. Kill the dwarves and go to the door by the pit (#2). Kill more dwarves there again and lot the room.
On leaving, you'll see a pipe (#1). Send minions to kill the dwarves on the other side and flip the lever. More enemies (dwarves) will jump from the door that's just opened - so call your minions and get rid of them. Walk up the stairs, down the next one and into a room. Walk across it killing the dwarves and looting. In the back of the room you'll see a huge barrel of beer - move it to find some loot. Continue across the room for the next red spoke. . Turn the wheel you'll find behind the door and a bridge will form - it will lead you back to the broken mechanism (#2).
Now you can finally use it to... fight some more dwarves (#1)! Next to the wheel there's a lift (#2) which will take you to the Brewery's lower part. Yes - there's more fun with the dwarves ahead! So - let's go to Brewery (2). Right after you arrive there you can use the blood pit. There's brown spawning pit too. Walk ahead and you'll see a scene. Right next to the brown spawning pit there's a pipe so you can send your minions down along it.
Watch out for the dwarves upstairs - they'll start shooting if they see a minion. So send one first, let him go down and then left to flip the lever there (#1). Continue down along the path and you'll see next pipe down to your left - this time there are dwarves standing up and downstairs there. Some will pop out from an open door, too! Kill them and walk to the door where you'll find the beer kettle (#2). Hurray! We take it.
But it's not over yet. Be careful as there'll be more mad dwarves waiting for you when you carry the kettle to the waypoint. But there's no other way and you have to take it there to complete the quest. Now you can go back up and take your way out through the door you've opened with the red wheel. You'll see a gate and some elves (#1). They'll tell you about their women being enslaved by the dwarves. Take turn left - you'll see a blood pit. Kill some sheep. As you follow the path you'll find a wheel to turn which will open a bridge over the chasm (#2).
Walk across the bridge - you'll come out on the other side of the Brewery. Turn right and head up the path - to bell tower (#1). Kill the dwarves there, take the spell and carry it to the waypoint. Now head toward the blood pit, near by the place where you killed the sheep and take the turn (#2) and follow the path around the hill. Then walk down, take the loot there on the right and go back to the other side. An elf will run out screaming that someone has taken over the mines.
Go for the job then - enter (#1) and you are - in Arcanium Mine. First thing you'll see: the smelter (there's a brown spawning pit too), but don't be hasty - do your business first and prepare a way to take the object back to tower. So, take the path right (#2) and, as usual, kill the dwarves and break some stuff. You'll find red and green spawning pits as well.
Now you can go down there to get rid of the slugs (#1) and cover their hole. Kill the big mama slug too while you're there. Equally, you can take the path left from the entrance toward the furnace and then down. You'll meet two dwarves with fireblasters there (#2) - so take care of them but be careful. Remember that they are explosive. Walk up the ramp to your right - there's blue spawning pit and stairs. Walk down the stairs - to flip the lever so the flames stop coming out of the furnace.
Go past the holes - leave the smelter for now - up the ramp and then down from the other side. Turn left and you'll see red spawning pit (#1) and some fiery bugs. Continue around the path killing the bugs and you'll find another spell. Let minions take it and follow them as they carry it the waypoint - they'll stop before a lava stream. Go up the stairs and flip the lever (#2). After a few steps they'll stop again so flip another lever and now they'll walk okay. Well done! Now let's go back and do the same with the smelter. There's also some gold by the levers, somewhat further, so send 7 minions to get it. When you're finished with the job here, go to your tower, visit your mistress and fry yourself some fancy armory. A new piece of clothing will make a tasty final touch - just for a new quest!
Now head on to Golden Hills - Stronghold. Send the blues to turn the wheel on the right (#1) and go across the bridge. Kill the dwarves inside and turn left - on the platform you'll find a sack of gold - take it and watch out for the guy with bombs. Kill the rest of the dwarves and loot the room. In the back, by the entrance, behind your back, a dwarf with fireblaster will come out so erase him. Take the stairs opposite the entrance and then up to the top (#2).
Follow the path and you'll come to another stairs which will lead you to another path leading to the entrance (#1). Wait a second, there's another fireblasting dwarf coming! and more dwarves behind him. Lure them to the side and then take care of the one with fireblaster. Now go to Royal Halls. Be careful - the first room (#2) is full of bombs and more guys with fireblasters!
Now take the strategy: send one minion at a time to the bombs downstairs to start them, leave them to blow the pillars and come back to you so the pillars will fall over to the dwarves. Remember that even when they're out of energy it takes a while for them to explode. When you're done with them, a few more will come with crossbows. The best way to get rid of them is with the bombs too. Then enter the gate there (#1). Good news: to the left from the entrance there's a chamber full of gold and treasure. Take them now if you want cause you won't have time later. Go past spawning pits, a blood pit and the waypoint (#2) - use them if you need and enter the next room.
Here you'll see Goldo - you've heard about him before. Basically, he'll play similar game like Sir William meaning: he'll run away from you. But - he'll come back driving a machine-monster (#1). You can send some minions to lure him and hit the machine yourself from the back (#2) - it won't hurt you. When it looses more-less half of the energy you'll see a scene after which you'll be able to finish the battle. When Goldo eventually jumps off his car - come and give him your final shot. Then go to the next room, watch the next scene and... oh! the place is going to collapse! - save the elves and go back to your tower.
At home you'll find out there's new location waiting for you to explore. Let's head on to The Ruborian Desert then. Go right and some raiders will come to meet you (#1) so kill them and go up the hill where you'll find treasure chest. Walk across the bone-bridge. Look to your left - a huge worm (#2) is consuming its opponent. You'll find a tower object as you walk across the sand, but leave it for later now - soon you'll know why. Anyway, you'll have to go across the sand to get to the next area. If you take minions with you they'll get eaten by sandworms. Leave them here for now and head across the sand.
You'll see a big beetle there (#1). If you attack it will explode hurting you and another one will appear. You've got brown spawning pit to your right. Take one minion and follow down the path. You'll see a nest with eggs (#2). Now proceed as you did with the birds before: send the minion to grab an egg and lure the bug to the sand where you came from. When you see the sand starts rumbling call the minion back. The worm will come out and eat the bug which will explode in it's... stomach? You need two of these beetles to kill the worm so repeat the operation.
Now you can safely run on the sand here with your minions. Take the tower object now and take it to the waypoint to increase your mana. Go back to where the exploding bugs were and you'll see some bony barriers (#1). You won't break them yourself so use the eggs and lure the bugs to the barriers. As they come close, attack and run away before they blast the barriers away so you won't get hurt. When you're done with them all follow the path and you'll see a scene with Jewel. Break the barrier there (#2), kill the guys and you'll come out by the waypoint.
Blast the next barrier (#1) with the bug again (lure it and hit when it's in the right place) and - there's more sand in front of you. Like before, use two bugs to kill the worm there, go across the sand to the path and turn right (#2). There will be some more raiders awaiting you and new black sheepies to kill (they're pretty aggressive!). Grab the tower object for health increase and some loots there and take it to the waypoint.
Follow down the path (#1) from the place where you've found the object - you'll come to brown spawning pit. Keep walking and you'll come to the edge of a chasm (#2) Jewel will jump across. There are still some worms in the sand so exterminate them to get the last tower object. The nest with eggs is in the alcove to your right. There are 3-4 worms to kill on the right and one more to the left so go ahead. It's a tough job so be patient.
Now turn right and up there for the last tower object (#1). Take it to the waypoint and go back to the chasm. Go left and fight the raiders. There's blood pit to your right so use it if you need. Then send one of these blaster beetles to the bony barrier (#2) - you might need 2 eggs to do it so take one as far as you can to lure the bug and go quickly to grab another one and run with it to the barrier. The barrier to your left hides a way to some loot - but you'll have to kill another worm for it. Behind the barrier to your right there's a wheel to open the entrance to the tower across the chasm. You'll need reds to kill the first bug - luckily there's red spawning pit near by.
Before turning the wheel (#1) you'll have to kill some raiders and some bugs too - so go back to the nearest spawning pit to collect your commando. You'll need many of them as you'll have to fight right behind the gate. Go back and across the bridge, then right and the middle up the hill (#2). Then you'll have to run Jewel to the waypoint. Position your minions by each of the gaps in the walls and then run her to the middle and up the hill - she'll enter by herself.
Now, before you interrogate Jewel, go right and break the bony barrier (#1) with the bug. Follow the path down to Mother Goddess Statue and tell your minions to carry it to the waypoint (#2). As you approach, some elves will show up asking for it back so just place it on the platform and go to your tower to have a chat with Jewel.
Now you know that a guy called Kahn is really mad that you've kidnapped his Jewel and he'll go attack Spree. So you have to save the town... again. Take your waypoint to Mellow Hills and head on to Spree. Some raiders will attack you (#1) so kill them and keep going - there are some watchful eyes to kill. What you should know is that there are raiders coming out of the eyes. Be careful not to get in the range of their vacuum light too as you'll perish immediately. You can kill them positioning your greens and reds on the platforms above their sight. So go to the three gates in the back of the town. There are high platforms next to each of them so position your (red and green) minions there (#2) and go downstairs yourself to fight the raiders. Assist with your fireballs to finish the watchers and go back to your tower when you're done.
Take your waypoint to Heaven's Peak - and quickly take some reds and greens from the spawning pits. You'll see 2 of the watchers in front of you and kill them like the last time (#1). Then go down the stairs (you can hang around the area for some loot before) and head on to the gate across (#2). Time to meet Kahn.
Quite a big guy Kahn is indeed (#1). Be careful not to get in the range of his flail! The best way to play with him is to position your minions (greens and reds together work here just great!) up on the platforms to keep his attention and he won't even turn to chase you when you hit him or use your fireballs. He'll run away after a few kicks so make sure to kill the watchers and raiders before you go chasing him and loot the area for some health and mana. Then go down the stairs (#2), kill the raiders there and follow Kahn. (There's green spawning pit up on the platform and red by the stairs in the battle area).
Be prepared for two more encounters with Kahn. It's not an easy task, but there's some energy and mana (he won't restore his powers) in the boxes and barrels around the battle areas and spawning pits here and there. Walk down the stairs and up the path - more raiders will attack you. Follow around the path, watch the scene, turn left and go next to the path which the raiders are coming from. Turn the wheel to raise the bridge so no more of them will show up and watch Kahn not to get too close with his flail. Position your minions on the platforms and walk down yourself (#1). Greens will jump on Kahn's head and reds will throw their fires on to him. He won't stand it long and he'll escape again. So follow him now (look for some mana, life and minions if you need) - up the stairs. Use the same tactics - only here you'll have to take care of the 2 vacuum eyes. As before, position minions on the platforms (#2), observe the fight and then go give him your last hit good-bye.
Now come back to tower. Apparently everyone is happy to welcome the great Overlord! but... Apparently it's not you they're after. Moreover, you're out of spells, out of minions and it's only your mistress who hasn't betrayed you. Well - after all this - let's show them who's the boss here! Go and get back the spells and your minions. Take the stairs down to Tower Heart. Fight a group of evil (?!) minions (#1). That helped for the spells - you've got your mana back. Now go to brown spawning pit - a minion will come out of it and... Here they are! All the browns back on your side! Take 10 more with you and go through the hole in the wall the wizard has made.
Follow the path and under the archway (#1) and kill the next crazy minions. Head right and kill the reds there. Walk up the little hill, turn the wheel (#2) and grab the Red Minion Hive there. Carry it back to the Tower Heart. Crazy minions will be coming up from the ground all the time so kill them as they appear or they'll kill yours.
Take 10 reds from the spawning pit and come back through the hole to the path under the archway and head to the wheel you'll see in lava (#2). Send reds to turn it and go across the bridge and along the path. Turn right and take the blues with you across the water. More crazy minions will appear when you want to take the next hive so kill them and carry it back to the Tower Heart chamber and take the all-minion-kind commando.
Now head on back to where you found the last hive but turn left where the path splits (#1). Send greens to get rid of the poison. Kill everything around there. The path to the left will lead you further to some mechanisms (#2) - if you use them you'll come back to the Tower Heart room where the spawning pits are. From the chamber with the green gas go now to the poison barrier and break it to make your pass through the door.
Attention! Right behind this door the final battle is about to begin! There's the last boss waiting - the wizard you've already met. He's protecting himself with a magic force shield (#1). After so many adventures and so much experience gained, fighting him should not be too much of a problem. So - watch the colors of the shields the wizard is using and send your minions of color to break them. He'll fall to the ground after each breakthrough and then you can send all your minions to him and assist them with your powers and weapons. Dodge his attacks and collect stuff from the barrels around the arena - surely you'll find some goodies there. There are spawning pits on the sides too so you shouldn't run out of minions. The bad thing is: there are lots of the crazy ones and they are particularly annoying. The best way of dealing with them is to use your spells of mass destruction. That's it for advice. Now all depends on you!
So you wanna be the thoroughly evil bad guy, with max corruption points? - Okay. Basically, it all comes down to killing the innocent peasants (you'll meet them in Spree and in Heaven's Peak) and elves (Evernight and the dwarven quests). Your minions won't attack them without your order so hold SHIFT for them to recognize the good guys. You should kill ca 500 peasants which in fact means you have to kill all the people you meet in the areas mentioned. Pillage their houses too, and don't forget to start a fight in Halfway to Heaven Inn! Looking for the keys in Mother Goddess Temple you can kill all these elven ghosts without hesitation - send your blues on them. Also, use fireballs or red minions to do the job in Elves' Sacred Grove - burn the sacred grass and tree.
If you're evilest-evil from the beginning, in Mellow Hills you'll get a chance to get 10 female servants for your tower. They all look and behave alike and they won't want to go with you - that's how you'll know they're the right ones. Send minions to grab and carry them to the waypoint - it's better to assist them then as the girls will be trying to escape. They're all in and around Spree (one's in Bob's farm).
If you want to be the real lord of evil, you have to make the right (evil) decisions too. When you retrieve the peasants' food (Retrieve the Food quest) - don't give it back to them! When you defeat Sir William and meet Velvet (quest: Find Rose's wayward sister Velvet) - dump Rose and take her sister instead! Your fight with Goldo in the mines (quest: Kill Goldo and his pet) will give you a choice - and it's obvious that gold is more precious than the lives of the last elven women. More - on any condition you shouldn't give them back the statue of Mother Goddess when they ask you for it (after you take it from Jewel - quest: Drive Jewel into the village Tower Gate). Good luck, evildoer!
