Hard Time (Prison Sim): How to increase your strength, intelligence, agility, and reputation

Hard Time is one of the most unique games on either the iOS or Android app stores. It’s an open world prison simulator that allows you to do whatever you want for the duration of your stay in prison. You can be the good guy or you can be the bad guy. One of the overarching goals, though, is to try to achieve perfection. Achieving perfection means increasing your stats to 100, which is no easy feat considering that they start off at 50. Read on for tips on how to increase all of your statistics to 100!

Increase your intelligence my reading books, using the iPad, playing the guitar or other musical instruments. Having conversations with other prisoners will also increase your intelligence. Avoid drinking alcohol or smoking cigarettes, because they will decrease your intelligence. Avoid fights as much as possible, because you’re intelligence will decrease with those as well.

Increase your strength my lifting heavy objects, such as furniture, boxes, barrels, or motorcycles. Go to the exercise yard and lift weights, and your strength will increase quickly as well. Sometimes, you can increase your strength simply by getting into a fight with somebody, particularly if you win.

Winning fights is also the fastest way to increase your reputation. Using a weapon in a fight will provide a particularly sizable boost to your reputation. Losing a fight, however, won’t necessarily increase or decrease your reputation, unless you lose badly, in which case your reputation will decrease. Also, if you win fights with gang members or prison guards, this is especially a big increase to your reputation.

Increasing your agility is done by doing things that could be considered athletic. Running around randomly to increase your agility. Climb up and down from furniture as well. Also, go to the exercise yard and play with the various sport equipment there, such as basketballs, soccer balls, and footballs.

Watch out though, because running and other agility boosters will decrease your strength and weightlifting will decrease your agility. The increases will be faster than the decreases, but not by much, so you have to work hard in order to achieve perfection. Also, just about anything that boosts your intelligence will decrease your reputation. So for every book that you read, make sure to get in enough fights to offset the decrease in reputation. Plus, anything you can do that will make money, such as sweeping or fixing things, has a chance at decreasing your reputation. Causing havoc, such as starting fires and breaking stuff, can sometimes increase your reputation, though.
