Guide Ezreal League of Legends S6

Rising Spell Force

(Innate): Hitting a target with any of Ezreal's abilities increases his attack speed by 10% for 6 seconds, this effect stacks up to 5 times.

Tips :

Ezreal's number of stacks are shown avove his spell bar.

Some free attack speed

   We survey the buffs!
When Ezreal touches a target with a spell, he gains a passive stack which gives him 10% additional attack speed for 5 seconds. When he has his maximum stacks, Ezreal possesses a 50% attack speed bonus.

Think about looking to see if your passive is up to know if you can trade with your opponent or not. You need to take the passive into account before aggressing yout enemy since a 50% speed attack bonus will often make the difference between a kill or death!

The passive can be stacked with a successful Q on an enemy, a successful W on an ally or the ultimate successfully placed on an enemy.

An ultimate or a W placed on several teammates/opponents will gain you several stacks.

Mystic Shot (Q)

(Active): Ezreal fires a bolt of energy in a line that will deal physical damage and apply on-hit effects to the first enemy it hits. If it strikes an enemy unit, all of Ezreal's cooldowns will be reduced by 1 second.

  • Range: 1100
  • Projectile Speed: 2000
Tips :

A very nice skillshot!

Poke poke poke

   Harass the opponent!
Ezreal's main skill. You will need this spell to poke in the lane. Keep a maximum distance from your opponents and use Mystic Shot when your enemies try to last hit. Note that Mystic Shot does not go through the creeps so you must have direct vision on your enemies to hit them.

You can also check the bushes with this spell since the animation will stop en route and the ability will make a sound if it runs into an opponent. To sul up, if you hit someone in the bushes with Mystic Shot you will know about it, so you can avoid having to facecheck.

Finally, Mystic Shot lets you reduce the CD of your other spells. It is therefore important to use this spell all the time to reduce the CD of your ulimate or recover your Arcane Shift faster, which could save you your life. With a red buff, for example, you can easily kite enemies by spamming your Mystic Shot to slow them, while recovering your Arcane Shift faster.

Essence Flux (W)

(Active): Ezreal fires a wave of energy in a line. Any enemy champions it passes through are dealt magic damage and have their attack speed slowed for 5 seconds, while any allied champions it travels through have their attack speed increased for 5 seconds.

  • Cooldown: 9 seconds
  • Range: 900
Tips :

Flames!

Jax and Irelia love you!

   Attack-speed for all!
This spell lets Ezreal be a very good team player by buff the allies, depending on the attack speed. This spell makes Ezreal a much more efficient AD carry in team compositions that are mobile and based on attack speed rather than engage and teamfight combos.

The Essence Flux allows you to inflict magic damage at your opponents and give allies you touch an attack speed bonus. This spell also allows you to keep your passive active when there are no enemies nearby.

Think about using the Essence Flux when your team is completing an objective (Tower, Drake, Nashor) to kill it faster. Ask your allies to get in line to touch the maximum of them. This will also stack your passive!

Arcane Shift (E)

(Active): Ezreal instantly teleports to a nearby target location and fires a homing arrow at the nearest enemy unit, dealing magic damage to it.

  • Cost: 90 mana
  • Teleport Range: 475
  • Arrow Range: 750
Tips :

A short range teleport spell

Slippery as an eel, Ezreal won't let himself get caught!

   Missed bitch !
Thanks to Arcane Shift, Ezreal could decide to turn ultra aggressive or on the other hand escape an engage that would go badly for him. You should never use this spell too quickly due to its cooldown.

Instead, wait for a teamfight to start and play calmly, cast your spells, watch how the fight is going. If your team manages to take the advantage and you can see that the enemies are retreating, use Arcane Shift to catch them and kill them! If, however, the engage goes badly, your mates are dying and you are next on the list: escape! You can use Arcane Shift to save your neck.

Don't forget that as well as being useful, Aracne Shift inflicts some pretty decent damage, something that can make the difference between a kill and death.

    kCooldown: 19 / 17 / 15 / 13 / 11 seconds

    Magic Damage: 75 / 125 / 175 / 225 / 275 (+0.75 per ability power)

Trueshot Barrage (R)

(Active): Ezreal charges for 1 second to fire a powerful broad energy missile that travels in a line across the whole map and deals magic damage to each enemy unit they pass through. It will deal 8% less damage for each subsequent target hit, down to a minimum of 30% damage dealt.

  • Cost: 100 mana
  • Cooldown: 80 seconds
  • Range: Global
  • Projectile Speed: 2000
Tips :

The banana that does damage ;)

With a great ultimate comes great responsabilities!

   The big blue banana!

This ultimate lets Ezreal steal the buffs, to kill players who are at 10%, to deal damage before your team engages, etc.

The ideal for using the ultimate is to do it just before or during your teams engage, when the opponents are controlled, or at the end of the fight to pick up the pieces. Do not use the ultimate during a teamfight because, as well as there being a big chance that you will miss, you will be immobile, thus making you an easy target.

Tip: This ability can be used to steal enemy buffs if you have good vision of the map and you know how to estimate the damage and the time it will take for your ultimate to reach its target. Complicated and quite unpredictable to achieve, a successful completion of this spell could however be gamechanging (like stealing Nashor's buff).

    Magic Damage: 350 / 500 / 650 (+1.0 per bonus attack damage) (+0.9 per ability power)

    Minimum Magic Damage: 105 / 150 / 195 (+0.3 per bonus attack damage) (+0.27 per ability power)

Pros

- Good ability to harass

- Arcane shift allows you to engage/escape easily

- Global Ultimate which allows you to pick up long distance kills

- Good attack speed boost via passive

Cons

- Mana consuming early game

- Requires skill to land his skill shots

- Weak against burst champions
