Batman: Arkham City Walkthrough 1. INTRODUCTION

So, let's get started on this walkthrough baby! You, Bruce Wayne, go to do a speech on how Arkham City, the new prison that is within Gotham which contains inmates/patients from Blackgate Penitentiary and Arkham Asylum, is completely unsafe to the residents of Arkham City. Then, TYGER mercenaries rush in and take you. You then wake up to this beautiful face, Hugo Strange.

He then threatens you that he'll divulge your secret indentity if you try and stop his devious plans.

He then leaves and the light flashes on.

Now, you get outta the chair. Just move your left analog stick from left to right or press your left and right keys until you fall on the floor.

A TYGER mercenary will come in, counter his kick to get up.

Then another merc will come and smash your head on the wall.

He'll take you outside where all the other inmates are.

Proceed to Line A to go to the next area.

You'll get thrown into a tunnel thingy which will open the to next area.

You'll then get introduced to the fighting style a bit.

And an inmate will knock you down and you'll meet Penguin. Well, mostly meet his foot.

He'll try and get payback but instead he'll get his hand broken.

After beating your first henchmen up, you'll break free out of your handcuffs.

You then climb a ladder that's on top of the dumpster that is on the right of where you woke up.

You climb and run your way up til you get to the top pf the building to contact Alfred.

The next thing to do is to go on top of the ACE Chemicals Building to pick up your package from Alfred.

When you're done climbing and shimmying up the buidling, your package will arrive.

It is the Batsuit.

Now you are the Batman...

You will have to hack into the TYGER communications by using you decrypter device to get into their signal. Just move the cursor into the highlighted circle.

TYGER mercs in the area have gotten word that Catwoman is in the Courthouse with Two Face and is about toget killed.

Batman believes that she knows what's up in Arkham so you must save her.

Glide to the courthouse...

It'd be faster to skip all the fighting but that's your choice.

Now beat up all of the henchmen inside!

At the end, Two Face will shoot you. So dont freak out and restart the game!

When you save Catwoman, the Joker will try to shoot you.

Batman: Arkham City Walkthrough 3. Joker's Trap

Scan the evidence to find out where the shooter was at.

When you get to the Medical Building, there'll be henchmen to beat up. So do so.

Harley Quinn will interrupt your meeting with the Joker.

Then, you'll get a smoke pellet to throw so you may go up on the gargoyle statue without being seen. Usually most people will do that. I did not do so, at first.

I beat up the two that stay in front by just beating them up with strikes and ground takedowns.

Now, I saved the hostage to the right first by a silent take down. There's a canopy behind him so it's easy to get behind him.

Then I glided to the next one.

I took him down by simply taking him down thru a wall. Easy.

Thats it!

Joker has set bombs everywhere the remote controlled sniper was at.

Jump out the window now!

Escaped just in time.

Batman: Arkham City Walkthrough 4. Getting to Joker

Since the Joker radioed you, you got his signal. So go to where the signal is closer.

It will end at the roof of Joker's lair. You'll have to go down the pipe to get inside.

Now, go to the platform so yount burn.

Crouch you way til you get to this. Pull this open with your Batclaw.

After doing some acrobatics, youll be in a ventilation system underneath the floor of Joker's lair.

When you get past and some of the armed inmates leave, go into action.

After that, head to the left and go through the doors to save Dr. Baker.

Just continue going throug this door and the next.

There'll be guards you have to take out silently.

Go through the next room and take out more guards silently.

Then go inside the small building thing in that room and save the doctor!

Now, go back into the Loading Bat area to get insde Joker's Office.

When you get there, use your new Electrical Charge gun to charge up this crane so the ball can smash into Joker's Office so you can get in.

When you get it destroyed, jump up to his office and get the Joker.

But it appears that the Joker is dead...

Then blackness. You were knocked out. Nice.

And well, he's not dead. But pretty bad looking.

Looks like he injected some of his toxic blood into you. GREAT.

Joker says he has a cure...

Batman is fine dying but Joker threatens to poison Gotham with this poison.

Then that's the end of your disccusion. Joker then throws you out the window. Lovely.

Batman: Arkham City Walkthrough Getting Penguin.

Now, you're gonna have to find Mr.Freeze for the cure. Find the coldest spot in Arkham City.

The coldest spot will be the old GCPD Building. Use the Electrical Charge Gun to open the gate.

Now when you get in, there'll be some guards to take out. Do so.

It looks like Penguin has captured Mr.Freeze. Go to the Museum in Arkham City to resue him. Just use your map to get there.

When you get to the front door, you'll have to hack into the panel for the door to open. After that, go in.

Now when you get in, the communications will be interferred. There are some disruptors. You gotta go find and destroy them to continue on.

Just follow the Signal Tracker and you'll find all of them.

Make sure to go down to the Subway there'll be some in there too.

Finally you'll find it and destroy it. Now go back to the Museum to rescue Mr. Freeze.

Now you can hack into the systems again to advance!

Below you will be some hostages and the way to the next area. So go down there.

When you get to the next area, there'll be a gate taht the only way to open it is with the button on the other side. So use your Remote Controlled Batarang to lead it to the button.

Go ahead and you'll enter the Gladiator Pit.

Penguin will let his henchmen have at you so you gotta take them out. This will take sometime.

And at the end, there will be a huge mutated thing...

Now when you're done, lead a remote controlled batarang to the button on the left side of the pit to open the door to advance.

Now go through to find Freeze.

Hack into the panel to open the next door.

Then, use the Electrical Charge Gun to move the elevator.

Explode the wall above you so you can get to the next level.

Then explode the next wall that'll be ahead of you when you climb up from the elevator.

Go forwards to the weak ice and explode that too.

There''l be some people to rescue, do so.

When you need to travel farther and can't make it by gliding, pull a raft to you so you can get on it and go to where you need to go.

Also, you're gonna have to be quiet. Looks like Penguin has a vicious pet that lurks in the water.

Go to the dock to your right.

There'll be a hostage there.

Now go to your right again.

More hostages.

Now swing yourself on the loop thing and glide to the dock that's across from you, or use your raft to go there.

Hack into the security panel that's up the stairs from the dock you landed on so you can open the door.

Proceed to the next room.

Take a right...

And slide under the gate to proceed.

There's Mr.Freeze! Go to the hall to your right to get to him.

Explode that wall...

Now, fight this freak.

After that, go down the hall now, since there's no henchmen, and hack into security to get in.

Now, since you and Freeze chatted, you gotta go see Penguin in the Iceberg Lounge.

Also, you're gonna have to get the security override from Freeze's suit to disable the freeze gun.

Go to the middle of the ice.

Glide to the dock that's across from the one you were in.

When you walk doen the hall and go through the door, there'll be some hostages to save, but these guards have thermal imaging headsets. So this is gonna be a challenge. Tip: Dont stay on the gargoyles for a very long time.

WHen you save the hostages, one of them will show you the suit.

Now since you have the security override, you can now confront Penguin.

The Longe will be North. Use a raft or swing on a loop thing and glide.

Now your first boss battle! Goodie! Just pull out the securrity overide so the freeze gun will be disabled.

When you activate it, walk down the Penguin and finish him.

Then you'll fall to the ground and go against Soloman Grundy, an urban legend about a guy that lives in the Gotham Sewers.

Just use your explosive gel to explode the generators on the ground.

Then you can do some combos on him.

His balls will catch on fire...just continue to use the explosive gel.

Now, one more time. But this time, avoid his shock attack and destroy the generators when they're orange, not blue.

Then, beat up Penguin.

Scan the blood of the assassin for evidence.

Batman: Arkham City Walkthrough Finding Ra's Al Ghul.

Now, you'll have to find Ra's Al Ghul's blood and retrieve it.

Exit the Museum to go after the assassin.

Just follow the forensic trail and you'll find that the assassin's trail has stopped.

So you'll have to scan the bandage for evidence.

Now, you're gonna have to catch the assassin so you can put a tracker on them so Batman can find Ra's.

You'll run into her soon after.

Afterwards, you'll get the line launcher.

Since you placed the tracking device, just follow it to Ra's Al Ghul's location.

If you dont know where it is, get to the subway maintenace center.

Just keep following the arrow leading to the tracking device.

Make sure you're going to Wonder City... .-.

This part is a bit of a challenge.

ALl you'll have to is go to areas where Mechanical Guardians parts are at and scan them. Here's one.

Another one.

And another one.

Some more...

Another one...

And you're doneeee.

After finding the lock, Batman will shove a assassin's face into the wall and use their sword to unlock it.

But now you'll have to watch more of the data to see the entrance.

When you find it, Batman will have hallucinations since the toxins are getting to him...

Just keep going ahead to get to the entrance.

You're gonna have to do some trials to get what you need.

This part is really cool. Honestly, pretty simple jsut hard to not do what he says.

Basically, you're gonna have to follow Ra's. But you can't touch ANYTHING. Which is kinda the hard part, well for me.

Dive bomb a lot to get speed to fly up so you can avoid obstacles like these.

Once in a while, there'll be some henchmen

When you're done, you'll end up back, in the real world.

Then you'll have to go against Ra's...

Tips: use explosive gel and avoid EVERYTHING.

After you beat him, you'll have to do it again..ugh.

Again, just avod his attacks and use explosive gel.

Afterwards, he'll threaten to kill his own daughter. SO use a remote controlled batarang to stop him.

Now, only one thing to do. Make the cure.

You'll have to go back to the GCPD Lab to make it.

And when you get back guess who's waiting for you? Freeze. To beat him, just make him go to a certain spot and attack him with explosive gel. Or use stealth to attack.

After you beat him, it looks lke Joker will have the much for all that work. Go back to Joker's lair to get it.

And make sure you enter here.

You'll be using rafts a lot when you get inside. Be careful where you turn!

Then after getting to dry land and making some turns, you'll be here. Explode the wall to proceed.

More raft using...

Then since the gate is blocking it, use the remote controlled batarang to hit the button to open the gate.

Afterwards, down the river sewer thing, you'll have to hack into a panel to open a door.

Just go into the door and expect the unexpected...

Just kidding! There'll just be Dr.Baker. She'll tell you that Joker is still here. You have to find him!

He'll be in the same office as before. Enter it to find him.

Take a left to go through more doors.

And that's where he'll be...waiting...for you.

You'll have to fight henchmen and Joker. SHouldnt be too hard.

The he'll send more henchmen...

And more...

And more... ;-;

After you're done with Joker, You'll have to go to the deck of the Wonder Tower to stop Protocol 10!

You'll have to hitch on a helicopter to get over the walls and to the Wonder Tower.

There'll be a roof at the Tower where there's a panel to hack into. Do so to get in.

There'll be lots of guards to take out. Do so.

Then there'll be a lot...take all of them out to get to Strange.

The streets will collapse and you'll have to find another way to get there.

You'll get to the foundation of the tower. There'll be guards to take out.

Afterwards, hack into the panel to get the elevator working.

When you get to the top, dive bomb so you can go up easier.

Then go to the right and find this pole to grapple onto.

Now just shimmy and grapple your way up.

After hacking into some security, you'll get here. Go into the vent and take out the guards inside.

When you're done, hack into a security panel to get to Strange.

Well, the cure does more than its supposed to. It'll make someone immortal, and Joker has it! Get to him to stop him!

Also, to get there, the tracker on Talia is still on her. So it'll be easier to get to Joker.

Be careful, there'll be lots of snipers.

When you took out some henchmen, finally, go in and stop Joker.

Then Clayface will be there, great.

Use the Freeze Blast to stop him and attack.

And that's pretty much it!

Joker will explode the ground and this time, Clayface has some help...

Continue to use the Freeze Blast against him.

After you beat him, Batman will use the cure on himself and let Joker die...

And that is the end. Joker, is finally dead.
