In Halo 5: Guardians, there is some special unlockable armor that you can use in the multiplayer modes that will make your character look like a bad ass.
These armor sets are unlocked a little differently than most other games however, in that you have to do things outside of the game to unlock them.
If you’re a long time fan of the Halo series, you’ll recognize some of these armor sets from previous games.
Here are the different armor sets you can unlock, and what you’ll need to do to unlock them.
Mark VI Armor Set – Unlocked by completing the “Your Journey Begins” achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Complete a campaign mission or a match in Multiplayer)
Mark VI Scarred Armor Set – Unlocked by completing the “Cairo Station” achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Complete the Cairo Station mission in the Halo 2 portion of the game)
Helioskrill Armor Set – Unlocked by completing “The Legend of 117” achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Complete every level of the Halo 4 section of the game on Legendary difficulty)
Nightfall Armor Set – Watch all episodes of the Halo: Nightfall series on Xbox Live
