Last week we asked you where (and if) you shopped on Black Friday, trying to see how online stores are doing vs. brick and mortar stores. What we discovered is that, unlike the majority of the population, MakeUseOf readers mostly don’t bother to buy anything at all.
225 readers voted in the poll, and the results are as follows: 10% shopped only in brick and mortar stores, 12% shopped both online and in regular stores, 25% shopped only in online stores, and 42% of the readers didn’t buy anything at all on Black Friday. A further 11% of the readers don’t have Black Friday in their country.
Full results and this week’s poll after the jump.
Don’t forget to check out last week’s best comment by dragonmouth, who pointed out that most Black Friday deals are for second-rate products anyway, and are therefore usually not worth it. He wins a free MakeUseOf t-shirt!
This week’s poll question is: PlayStation 4 vs. Xbox One vs. Wii U, Which Would You Rather Have?
Love our t-shirts? The best comment in this poll will get one of our geeky t-shirts. That’s right, for free! So get commenting!
The long-awaited consoles are finally out, and while the war ranges over which one is best, some think the best buy right this minute is the older Wii U (you can find some compelling reasons here, if you’re curious). Forget the price, forget the fact that you might not be the most enthusiastic gamer. If you could have one of these consoles right now, no questions asked, which one would you choose? And why?
Tell us exactly what makes your choice the best. Who knows, you may actually be helping people choose the best console!
