Cheat your way through Destinys Crota boss

Look for this glitch to get fixed soon, but until then, here's an easy way to beat the hardest boss in Destiny.

The exploit involves the leader of a fireteam playing through a chunk of Crota's End, disconnecting from the game for a minute and then returning to pummel a helpless Crota into oblivion.

Kotaku's Jason Schreier has a step-by-step of the cheat in action, which you can also see in the video above from Oophilly215oO. Once you get to the Crota checkpoint and take Crota down to his knees, the hosting player has to disconnect from the internet for a minute. This causes a lag that leads to Crota staying helplessly on his knees until you kill him, even after the player reconnects.
