FIX for Dead Island SAVE glitch on PS3

Well guys finally the fix for nasty "SAVE GAME" glitch on Dead Island PS3 has been released. In order to fix this glitch, all you need to do is erase the game utility data installed from the patch and then play Dead Island in an offline mode, so that you don't have to update again.

Now if you are not aware of how to do this, then quietly follow the steps given below, which will guide you to erase the game utility data installed from the patch:

Step 1:

• Go to your XMB

Step 2:

• Scroll to the game menu

Step 3:

• Scroll up to the game utility data folder

Step 4:

• Go into the Dead Island utility data

Step 5:

• Press TRIANGLE

Step 6:

• Select DELETE

NOTE: Before deleting, just make sure that you are not deleting your save game files. Also make sure that you are in game utility data folder.

To verify that above FIX worked: You will see "GAME SAVED" message instead of "CHECKPOINT" at the lower corner
