If you are having problem with your Wii or Wii mini consoles the the basic thing to do is resetting the AC Adapter. Here is a step by step guide to reset your Wii or Wii mini AC Adapter.
Step 1
The first step is to Unplug the Wii AC adapter from the back of the Wii system and the other from the power socket. The adapter should remain unplugged from both ends for 2 whole minutes.
Step 2
Free the USB ports and the Nintendo GameCube Controller ports like LAN Adapters, keyboards, Nintendo GameCube controllers etc, unplug all the cables connected to these ports.
Step 3
In this step, check you AC adapter for word "Wii" and the model number "RVL-002 (USA)". Also check for any physical damage such as frayed wiring or major cracks. If you find physical damage the product should be replaced.
Step 4
After 2 minutes of unplugging the AC adapter, plug it back into the Wii system and directly in the power socket, do not use a surge protector or power strip for now. If you see the power light, your adapter was successfully reset.
You can resume your gaming session without interruption on your Wii machine now.
